Today I spent most of the time home alone. I went down into the basement to do laundry, and as I flicked a switch I thought I saw a shadow move or something.
This s**t was there:
I did research, found out he's a male grass spider (one of the most common species of grass spider, too), and then I caught him in a cup and let him go outside. I've got some videos of it on my Tumblr. His name is Giant since he's so damn big, he's also shy and jumpy and moody af. Just leave him be. He's going through his teenage/edgy phase, I guess?
Mmmkay so it's been a few weeks since this incident happened. Well tonight I've just given up and claimed myself the title of spider king. I've rescued 2 other giant spiders since this one and tonight was the 3rd.
From my personal thread: Ok yeah, I'm pretty sure my entire family now fears me and the seemingly-spiritual connection I have with all large spiders. My sister walked out of the bathroom, and she freaked because one was on the corner above our mirror. I literally walked in there straight-faced and said, "Oh, hello friendo." Then dragged a chair and cup in there, caught it, and set it free. I'm not even afraid at this point. Spiders are just... whatever by now. They come, I save them, I'm their king. Hail the spider king?

So I'm home alone again today. I think to myself that, oh it'll be a fun time to watch movies, sing, etc. Until this happens.

I JUST WATCHED THE LIVE BOTFIGHT BETWEEN AMERICA AND JAPAN!!!
DUDE, AMERICA'S ROBOT BROKE A GODDAMN SUPPORT BEAM FROM THE CEILING AND BLOCKED RAPIDFIRE BULLETS WITH IT, THEN RAMMED IT INTO JAPAN'S ROBOT, RIPPED OUT A CHAINSAW, AND CUT IT APART USING THAT!!!!! LEGIT PEOPLE WERE PILOTING INSIDE THESE BOTS WHILE FIGHTING I'M LOSING MY MIND THIS IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!

What do you get with the special edition of the new Fire Emblem game? I'm about to go pick up my copy for 3DS later today.
I'm not sure if there's a difference between Switch and 3DS versions, but mine's on the Switch. (I'm making a pretty big assumption that they both got special editions, I'm not sure, honestly, the GameStop site only lists the Switch special edition.) Anyway, I got a set of character cards, a three disc soundtrack, and a double sided poster with all the FE characters and the games they come from on it. The characters cards are so shiny and pretty, and come in a neat little box. My poster has really bad crease marks on it, though, and I'm kinda unhappy about that. :c
Oh man. I am fangirling over, like, half of this year's shopkeeper costumes. MOIRA IS LADYBUG. AND RUFUS IS MORGANA. AND IAN IS THE P5 PROTAGONIST. AND SASHA IS MOANA. AND RUBY AND PEYO ARE 2B AND 9S. AND MURASAKI IS GENOCIDE JILL. AND, AND, AHHHHH, OMGOMGOMG, I CAN'T EVEN, THIS IS AWESOME.

I found a storm-fallen branch of oak and cut it into runestones. In Norse paganism and mythology, the oak tree is sacred because Yggdrasil, the World Tree which connects all 9 realms, is oak. Having fallen during a thunderstorm last night, Thor's tempests struck an oak tree--a child of Yggdrasil--to allow a branch to fall. So I'm glad a branch like this became what I made runes from.
ANOTHER stupid forum battle for an event? jfc, I'm so absolutely tired of these, not all of us are comfortable with the main forums... Yet another event where I either torment myself for event items or hope the paws shite goes up for something less than the cost of a black market liver so I can just buy them... That letter had me all excited, too, but this is just, ugh...

Just, THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH TIMES, LIKE, A BAJILLION. Conveniently, I happen to have bought a couple things recently that should match the color schemes of some of these really well, too~
Did you see the new gold shop update? More colors for the spider web gowns. Wish there was a matching purple one for the purple and black over skirt though! I wish the fall event items weren't always so centered on the pumpkin guy Jack. Not even a new fall dress for the ladies, how disappointing! In the meantime, I'm closer to my item quest goal! Back to gold farming in "zOMG!" ^_^*

A gold shop update? I'm usually pretty on top of those, but I guess they forgot to push an announcement or something... (Like trick-or-treating, which I only found out about on accident in GCD.) Oh, there's the gold shop announcement, in the wrong place, it got pushed out of my notifications by a dozen things I couldn't give a toss about. If only they would push announcements for stuff I care about as often as they push stupid sales that I DON'T care about. =w=;
