Hrmph... I can't seem to get Debussy's Claire de lune, and Pokofieve's Dance of the Knights out of my head. If I'm not listening to one, I'm listening to the other. Or Death Cab For cutie with their I will posess your heart... -_-;

American cheese = plastic and fake. Mostly, anyway.
Claire de Lune is fun to play. :3

I wish I could play piano... I love Claire de Lune, and beethoven's Moonlight Sonata... Actually, most of my favorite pieces are either on piano or cello.. and I play neither. only minor melodies I've taught myself on piano, or made up.. >>;

*bakes Tana a brownie* I think my attempts at banter were failing, so no brownie points for me.
Moonlight Sonata is the one piece I've learned that I've never forgotten. At least, the first movement. I learned the second and started the third, but the third is a b***h to play, and I'm not good enough. But I learned the first movement, gosh, ten years ago. Wow, didn't think it's been that long.
My grandpa always asks me to play it when I visit him, and he always cries. <3

The first movement I haven't forgotten, but I have random brain farts, where I skip lines and lines and am suddenly a place in the music where I am not supposed to be. The third, I definately cannot play. it's so out of my capability. like, I can play it like an eight of the speed it's supposed to be played at. sweatdrop sweatdrop

Sporky, that's totally me when I try to play the third movement, haha. In other words, I can't play it. XD
Haha, chocolate and I are like this! *crosses fingers*

XD Haha, chocolate and I are like this! *crosses fingers* It's a nasty key, even though for the most part, it's repetitive. (at least when you think about it) but I would love to play that, and anything by Chopin or Liszt!

The one piece I LOVE listening to, but HATE playing is Ravel's Bolero. The bass part... it's easy, but it's also a nightmare... repetition after repetition @_@ I know, I know... in an orchestra somebody has to play it... I just feel sorry for the snare drum.

Yeah, Bolero is all about a kickass snare player. I'd LOVE to learn to play Debussy's The Sunken Catheral. <3
