Finally, my bronze dragon plush is actually nearing completion! He just needs wings and the little spine frill plus a few bits of embroidery. Who know bingewatching shows on Netflix could make me so crafting productive? I made a scarf, a set of arm warmers, and some fingerless gloves/mitts recently, too. Plus a viking hat. The viking hat I was toying with the idea of making became a reality. (I plan to get photos of the hat at some point since it's of my own design, I've just not got about to doing so yet.)

So, I've been hearing a mouse around my apartment for a while now. I really figured my cats had no honest idea what to do with a mouse since they seemed thoroughly unconcerned by the damn thing's presence. And then one of them caught the stupid thing last night. I thought they were playing with one of their toys, so you can imagine my surprise when I realized they were playing with a REAL mouse, and not a fake one. They managed to let it escape while I was freaking out trying to figure out how to deal with it, and now I'm terrified one of them might actually start hunting for the mouse and I have no idea if any of my neighbors might have poison down...

We had a mouse that my cat was chasing around the house, however it kept going under one of the closet doors in the hallway, so for a night I had to help my cat hunt down the mouse. She kept looking at me, like can you please move all this stuff around so I can get this thing. I had to catch the mouse with a bag and kill it, but my cat was still losing her mind thinking it was just hiding.

Here goes nothing. I've made a Facebook page for my writings and artistic works... Trying to promo myself a bit, I guess. And now that I'm in Digital Design, I'll start making up some graphics that... aren't so trashy for the page. razz

Oh my, at least she knows how to properly chase a mouse, mine once again don't seem to care about the one in my apartment. We're not even sure how it's getting in, because we've found no entry points so far unless it's behind my fridge (which I probably couldn't be payed to move at this point, I don't want to know what's under or behind it). I found signs of it ON TOP OF my fridge, in fact; paper towels are apparently a delicacy as it's eaten a rather large chunk out of the bottom of a roll. My beau brought home a trap last night (one of the ones meant to catch up to, like, twelve mice at a time and that you can either stick a glue board in or just catch and release, he said they were the trap of choice at his culinary school, and my cats can't get themselves into trouble with it), so now I just have to hope we catch the little bugger and it can stop keeping me up at night... It's between that and actually encouraging my cats to go into my cabinets at this point. (They're usually not allowed in my cabinets because they get cat fur in all my pots and pans and chew holes in the cat food bag.)

When my cat was hunting the mouse, she was chasing it all over the place. I woke up the first time and thought she was just playing with a toy that she found or something. Few hours later I hear the same thing and get up to find her down and circling my desk. So that's kinda when it ran off to the closet and I had to help the cat out at midnight to find a mouse.

Update on my mouse problem! IT HAS BEEN CAUGHT! It really was holed up behind my fridge, we caught it on top of said fridge after baiting our trap with peanut butter. We're hoping it's the only one, but I think we intend to buy another glue board and keep the trap set out, just in case.

I've never driven manual and I hope I never need to lol. I'm not sure how I'd focus on what's happening on the road if I drove like that tbh.

I’m just going to say that learning how to drive manual can actually help out, you can drive pretty much anything and if you have a dead battery you don’t need a lot of help to jump start your car. It is hard as you start learning, but as you drive more, you do muscle memory.
