I hear that printers and mechanical devices tend to malfunction when around artists or artistic auras.*
I...I'm going to go. *yawns* Sleepy time.
I almost can't compose myself in second language anymore.

*looks at her bookshelves*
Fiction.. fiction... Japanese samurai... fiction... Popular American Composers... fiction, fiction, and more fiction... and then I have all my music books... sketch books.. manga... Something on greek mythology and such...
I like a lot of fiction... I can't get absorbed into non-fiction, somehow, though I liked my world history class and some of the stuff we were reading. I like books about books, like Inkheart... Books about vampires/werewolves, like Cirque du Freak and Twilight... Really, I like anything supernatural, or fantasy...

Hello, I am Dragmar. I am a new member of Role Play Refuge and I am pleased to meet you all. As a new member, I haven't the slightest clue which role plays would be good for a new member, like myself. If anyone would like to point me in the direction of a role play that I can handle, I would be most grateful.

'Ello, stranger! -waves at Dragmar- I'm Waveh, welcome to RPR! :] As for roleplays, there's a new one I recently joined, with two pages of posts so far, it's fairly new. It's called Turmoil in Faerie, with humans, as well as the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. I'm not sure if it's your type, but it seems to be active and literate. ^_^
@Tana: Yes, Europe is quite different. I expect it's changed a bit since I was last there - two summers ago for a vacation in Romania, but I like Europe, it is very different from NA XD
There are some types of non-fiction I'll read though, or at least skim. Anything about mythical or fantasy stuff, astrology, astronomy... Or, if I am researching for one of my stories. Though I mostly read fiction - fantasy novels, or young adult novels. Sarah Dessen's books are amazing. <3

Potential to see at a movie theater: Wall-E: Meh, probably not. Hancock: If I feel like it. The Dark Knight: YES!
Not to start a browser war, but Firefox isn't as great as people make it out to be. I know, because I use both.
Welcome, Dragmar.
*uber-gluggles Alwyn* Yay, another Inheritance Trilogy fan! The Eragon movie was awful, but the books are so great.
On the topic of manga (which I don't get a chance to read that often), I recently read the first book of Wild Adapter (written by the creator of Journey to the West).

Wall-E was great. The only reason I didn't cry was because my thirteen year old girl cousin was cheerily watching the movie and munching on her candy... Hancock and The Dark Knight are a must see. biggrin I'mma possibly see Hancock this weekend. biggrin
Anywho, Brisingr comes out in two months! whee

I've read a fair amount of the story of Drizzt Do'Urden and love the entire thing . . . sure some parts are slower than others, but when a book depresses me as they kill off a major character, it is awesome. When the gloom lasts for a week, it is beyond awesome.
Synopsis of movies listed here: The Dark Knight - oh . . . hell yeah!!! Wall*E - Beginning to sound better than just a kiddie film Hellboy - another hell yeah! Wanted - meh. DVD time. Hancock - waiting for DVD on this one too.

You know what I like? Squirrels! Fidgety squirrels that, when they drink coffee, they're insanely fast and can crawl at the speed-of-light so that the whole world around them is frozen! Teehee! Oh, and that antique squirrel-rat thing from Ice Age. He's pwnsome <3
-giggles insanely, rocks back and forth in corner- We'll kidnap the antique squirrel and feed it its acorn to keep it happy then we'll sell the full, happy antique squirrel at an auction and we'll make a lots and tons and a jillionth amount of money, and we'll be rich, and with that money that we made by kidnapping the antique squirrel and feeding it its acorn to keep it happy and selling the full, happy antique squirrel at an auction, we'll buy more antique squirrels and we will feed them their acorns to keep them happy and then we'll sell the full, happy antique squirrels at an auction where we'll make tons and a lot and a jillion more money so then we can buy even MORE antique squirrels.... -froths at the mouth-

Magni Prime I've read a fair amount of the story of Drizzt Do'Urden and love the entire thing . . . sure some parts are slower than others, but when a book depresses me as they kill off a major character, it is awesome. When the gloom lasts for a week, it is beyond awesome. BOOK-ANGST! The Best Kind! -dances- I once spent about a whole month reading Edward-angst-based Twilight fanfiction. I enjoyed it very much so. It's jsut so depressing! XDD
