((TFP---Serena))

Serena left the bathroom feeling a lot better than before and less likely to become easily irritated by silly little things. The room was brighter thanks to the curtains being drawn back. Serena blinked a few times allowing her eyes to adjust accordingly. Outside on the balcony stood the Satan Owl and on a table sat the food Will had brought in. Smiling, Serena took a seat and helped herself to the meal which was (as usual) heavenly to her taste buds. It wasn’t as heavy as she had first thought; in fact she was able to finish nearly all of the meal but gave up when she felt she had eaten enough.

The Vanishing Owl stood up from the small table and stretched as a yawn left her lips. She stepped outside and breathed in the cool fresh air. While it was warm in the places the sun shined it was still December and so it was still pretty cold outside. Serena moved to stand besides Will and leaned onto the balcony railing. The gardens below were rather beautiful and lavish, styled with warm reds and yellows appropriate for this time of year. “The meal was lovely…” Serena muttered as she continued to gaze upon the garden below “So is the weather” She noted with a laugh “Perhaps I will go for a walk and find something to do…” The white haired female glanced up towards Will “And you? What are you planning to do today?” She could tell that the smell of smoke was no more, banished from Wills person. Good, because Serena hated the smell of smoke.

((NPC----Freya Saxton))

Myra had shown up not long after Cerberus and the damn cat had scampered of too cause probably more damage. “Bad girl? I didn’t do anything wrong. It was the dog and cat” Freya muttered as she stood up from the floor looking less then amused by Myra’s words. “Stupid old woman..” She muttered in annoyance as she turned on her heel and headed back to her temporary room not giving a damn about Myra and how she will react. Freya knew she was ‘safe’ to do as she pleased…and for her to feel like that was never a good thing. She was far too curious to not get herself into trouble one way or another.

Once inside her room, Freya grabbed the book she had been reading last night. It was a book that contained information on many many plants around the world. After she was finished with this book she had promised herself that she would go and play in the garden and cause some mischief. That’s if of course, her mom hadn’t been informed about her previous activities. Erin had spent most of the days since Daryle’s departure resting and preparing for the new baby who was expected in a few weeks. Freya’s face wrinkled up in distaste at the thought of having a little brother or sister. Surely they would be annoying and ruin her books.

((NPC---Seb)

Ah Sebastian was indeed back in Japan locked up inside his office, he had simply forgotten to inform Myra. It was safe to assume that Sebastian rather enjoyed seeing an angry Myra for whatever reason. Somewhere in the house, the butler could hear the distinctive crashing sounds of delicate china dolls being broken. He sighed and rubbed his eyes feeling strangely tired for once. “How bothersome, Myra…Can’t you watch even one child?” He chuckled as he stood up and unlocked his office door, better unlocked then to see it being smashed down by Myra should she catch wind that Seb was actually inside. He crossed the room and took his seat back behind his desk and he continued writing up documents and contracts for various clients…but then he had an idea. He pulled out his cell phone and sent a quick message to Myra ‘Try not to get too angry….I wouldn’t want you to burst a blood vessel…;D

Nikolai smiled at Cecilia's question. "Genuine interest or simply lacking topics to speak about?" He took a bread stick as well and replied, "Fairly well. I suspect she's annoyed with me though, probably because I stopped her from helping Amara with that whole Jeannie thing. Aside from that, things are going good." Nik took a bite out of the bread stick and thought for a moment, what was there to talk about with the cosmic owl? he didn't know her all that well, and he wanted to stay away from the topic of relationships, of course that led him to the one topic he could try and discuss with anyone; music. "Random question. What sort of music do you like?" Nik smiled lightly as the waiter came back to take their orders. Nik ordered some Italian dish he had tried before and enjoyed. Nik's question was random, but not without reason, Christmas was coming up and he figured he might get a few of his friends some music. If he knew what sort of music Cecilia liked he could make an informed guess on what to get.

What Cecilia felt when she had asked the Dancing Owl the question regarding his relationship with Anya was genuine curiosity. The Herald had heard what had happened between Amara and Jeannie from Amara a few days ago. Cecilia had known women who could be seen as "home-wreckers" to put it simply. She had not known Jeannie very well, having never spoken to her. Yet, in the back of her mind, there was a voice that was telling her Lucien was not a willing accomplice in this. Lucien may be many things, but she knew that he would never cheat on Amara intentionally. It was possible that he could have been tricked. While the new Death Owl was very academically intelligent, he could often be dimwitted when it came to other matters, such as personal matters.

"I did hear about what happened between those two. I didn't hear it in full detail, but I heard enough for me to piece together what happened. My guess was that Jeannie found some way to trick Lucien. I don't blame Amara's reaction because from an outsider's perspective, it might have looked different from what it truly was, but I really don't think Lucien would have intentionally cheated on Amara. He may not express it openly, but he loves Amara." Was Cecilia coming to Lucien's defense? All right, perhaps a little bit. But was she taking sides? Of course not. Both parties had suffered due the the actions of one woman who wanted to drive them apart due to her own selfish desires. It was then Nik asked about the genres of music she enjoyed. "Well, to be honest with you, I've never been bigoted towards any kind of music. Okay, I'll admit, I do cringe at rap music and bluegrass, but I do admit there are some songs in those two categories that I find enjoyable. But like I was saying, I enjoy all forms of music. Sometimes the music I listen to can reflect on my mood.

The waiter returned with their drinks and took down their orders. After having perused the menu, Cecilia discovered that the majority of the dishes was cooked in with a wine of sorts. Still, it wasn't partaking in alcoholic pleasures. It was quite normal for most five-star restaurants to cook their cuisines mixed with a special wine. Cecilia would not get drunk off of her meal. She turned to the waiter. "Yes sir, I'd like the Bucatini all'Amatriciana." While the Italian language had never been her strong point, she still had a good grasp of the accent and spoke her decision perfectly. The Bucatini all'Amatriciana was served with tomatoes, pancetta, white onion, white wine, and garlic.

Cecilia had had it before, so she did not need the subtext to inform her of its ingredients. Cecilia also ordered a Caesar salad as well with vinegarette dressing. The waiter took up their menus. Once he had left, Cecilia directed her attention towards Nik again. It was on the tip of her tongue to ask him how he had discovered his abilities, but there was the prospect in the back of her mind that he might ask her the same thing. She had already opened up to Roulin about it, but that was a road she wasn't comfortable traveling down with someone else, especially someone who she barely knew. "What was your act while you were still with the circus? I mean, what did you do exactly?" she asked instead, expressing genuine interest towards his life as a circus performer.

((Will))

When Serena went out onto the balcony to join him, Will put an arm around her. Maybe the gesture was to keep her warm in the chilly air. He couldn't have Serena falling sick now. The Vanishing Owl did have a pretty strong immune system, so it was rather unlikely. The blonde patted his female companion on the head as she spoke of the nice weather. It truly was nice. It wasn't snowing because they were more toward the southern half of Japan, so the weather wasn't anywhere like the always snowing Hokkaido. "A walk would be nice... a walk you can remember or choose to forget because you can do it any time." He smirked. "The usual day, Serena, but I think I'll just spend it with you." He chuckled. Mhmm....sure. His presence would most definitely prevent the cat, the three headed dog, the lap dog, the kitten, the parrot, the quail, and the plant kid from destroying the estate. "Just one meeting today."

((Myra))

Myra glared at Freya. She obviously didn't believe Freya. This was infantile, but apparently very usual when it came to parents and children. Seven year olds and adults having arguments and no one getting through. While Cerbs and that tabby cat were causing trouble, it usually wasn't "dangerous," and Cerbs was mature enough to not ruin the place his master lived. The golden haired woman twitched again when Freya called her a "stupid old woman" and then stalked off without a care.

"That girl...." she growled. If Freya was heading back to her room, that was fine. But it would be even better if she stayed in that room and didn't do anything. Something had to be done about the girl though. Even if Freya was a house guest and practically was getting away with everything, there had to be a stop. After muttering and cleaning up the pieces of china and placing the furniture back up (and calling some other servants to clean up the finer issues), Myra decided she really needed to talk to Erin. She hadn't wanted to bother Erin with things like this because the woman was about to give birth in the coming weeks. "Ah, time for the refreshing tea." Myra smiled as he remembered she had instructions to give a certain replenishing tea drink to Erin every day.

Fetching the tea, Myra was on her way and reached Erin's bedroom shortly. With a knock, the lady entered the room and closed the door behind her. "Lady Erin, your tea." Myra announced as she set the tea on a table. "How are you feeling?" She smiled and then sighed. "Erin, Freya has been acting up again. She somehow just broke a whole case of antique china dolls... for some reason."

At that moment, Myra received a ding ding message on her phone. She peeked at the message and twitched once before regaining her composure. The message was from Sebastian. He was back. Had to be back. With that sort of message, he was practically announcing he was back. She was sooo going to beat the snot out of him. And so, Myra looked at Erin with a calming smile, as calm as she could manage.

Nik smiled lightly at Cecilia's stance on the Amara/Jeannie issue. He hadn't spoken with her after the fact, so he didn't know what was going on with Lucien and her, but the way he saw it, if Lucien wasn't at fault, he needed to prove his worth to Amara. If he went out of his way to prove that he loved her, then there would be no problems on his end, the acceptance would lie with Amara. Nik figured Cecilia would like "good" music, that is to say, she liked any genre really, so long as the music was good. He nodded lightly and replied, "That is a good taste to have. Far too many people eliminate entire genres of music just because they don't think the bulk of it is any good, therefore none of it is good." Nik sighed lightly and took a sip of his drink, he had at least narrowed it down by two genres, that would make it a little easier. Looking at the cosmic owl Nik smiled widely when she asked him what he did in the circus. He replied, "A little of everything. I tried my hands at the trapeze, tight rope walking, I was the announcer most of the time, I had the voice for it. I was with the Acrobats for a little while, the jugglers, I tried fire breathing once, didn't go very well... Never tried taming a lion though, I still regret not trying. Aside from that, I was the stand in ringmaster and finally, I was the big top's magician. And by magician I mean I did 'magic tricks' with my powers. Our circus was almost entirely made up of owls, so it was cool being with people like myself and not having to hide my powers." Nik finished his explanation just as their meals arrived. Sighing lightly, Nik looked at his food and said, "Excellent, looks just as good as the last time I ordered it."

((Serena))

The Vanishing Owl leaned onto Will thankful for the extra source of heat. “A walk to remember or to forget you say? Well if it is truly boring I will forget it and make it better should I choose to do it again…” She stated while ignoring the patting courtesy of Will. She glanced up at Will when he stated that it was the usual day and that he may end up simply spending it with her. Now it was her turn to pat him. “If you wish to, Kitten” She kissed him once, quick and softly, before slipping back inside to the warmer rom. “A meeting? How boring…” Serena hated those kinds of things…unless of course they were ‘fun’ or involved new types of weapons…Those meetings were better.

Serena grabbed a long dark red coat from a coat stand and put it on, fastening it with the belt. She walked towards the balcony but stopped and leaned on the doorframe “Hmm…are you going to stand there all day? It would be such a waste~” She smirked playfully before reached out and grabbing Will by the arm. “It would be better for you to enjoy the weather on the ground outside as supposed to way up here.” She strolled casually, leading herself and Will out the room and on the way to the gardens “Besides, you should get plenty of fresh air before you are stuck in some stuffy room with balding men talking about random business stuff…” She smiled smiled before adding “You know…You could just skip that meeting and come to the hot springs with me instead~”

((NPC---Erin))

Erin had been sitting comfortably folding up babygrows when someone knocked lightly upon her door. The brown haired woman glanced up as Myra came in with some fresh tea and asked how she was feeling. Erin smiled kindly and shook her head “I told you that there is no need to address me as Lady….Just Erin is fine” She placed the last of the baby clothes down on the bed and took a seat. “I am fine thank you, just a bit achy...But that is to be expected” she smiled sheepishly as she rubbed her stomach which was just about fit for bursting. “I swear this child is going to be hyper…He never stops moving, even at night.” Erin had already come to the conclusion that this child was going to be just like his father; a bundle of raw energy.

The thought of Daryle brought a small frown to the woman’s brow, their last meeting hadn’t gone to well and Daryle had departed without Erin there to see him off. She had every right to be angry with him, but she still regretted the sour mood they had both been in. Her frown deepened when Myra went on to talk about Freya. That girl has been acting up more and more recently. Erin figured she may be jealous of the new baby…or that she was simply tired of being away from home. “Oh Myra…I am ever so sorry! I will have Daryle pay for any damage done….” She apologised earnestly “I will have a word with Freya…She is causing you so much trouble. I will try to get her to behave in the future...”

Questioningly, the young Owl's eyebrow cocked after Acelyn gave another one of her oh so astute observations. As she'd put it, this was just another adventure at the end of which was free food for him and a dinner guest for her. Like his father, he was just there for the incentive and could admit that as he'd never met the girl and thus didn't care of his impression on her. "Milo isn't good enough? How about Lorenzo then. Sorin...maybe Aniolis will suffice." Even with new guests, mindgames were a specialty for him. Mental pranks of many sorts. If this were going to be an adventure, then he may as well be one of the puzzles to liven things for them.

"Food savvy? Interesting. Then I trust you'll guide me to the best thing on the menu tonight?" inquired Roulin as he peered from the lavender gaze in the gaudy elevator to Acelyn. "I think I missed the part where you went to Italy. Did you like it? I visited, but things...didn't go well. At all. Bags got missing and my father threw a tantrum..." If Acelyn's power was just what he believed it was, then Roulin knew it would get a work out as long as he was around. His objective wasn't to be obnoxious if it seemed that it was. Rather, it was just to get a better exhibition of the blonde's ability.

"No Ace. Then I'll just call you One if that's okay." Leaving her to her moment, Roulin looked forward again and met his reflection with a small grin. Soon, the doors opened and Roulin followed behind the girl while toying with the buttons at the top of his collar. When they made it to Acelyn's room, Roulin scanned it with an indifferent stare. It was obvious the girl didn't need money. The plush chairs, the silk sheets, the decor and a linens that were in the bathroom seemed a shout "Bank" at him. Standing at the door, he said to the girl, "Swanky" before walking in and taking a seat on a nearby couch.

Cecilia's salad was served before her main course as was customary in proper restaurants. The young Herald listened politely as Nik spoke of his years in the circus as a partaker in many of the events that took place. While Cecilia did not possess the table ettiquete of a young woman who had just graduated Finishing School, she had enough ettiquete to pass for someone with excellent manners at the dinner table and not look like a complete slob as she slowly ate her salad making sure that a minimal amount of dressing dripped onto her chin. What did drip, she quickly dabbed off with the designer napkins that appeared expensive enough to feed a starving third world country.

"It must have been nice to live with others who were like you in many ways and given the fact that it was a circus, you could all pass off your abilities as simple magic tricks, therefore hiding what you truly were from human audiences who are rather bigoted towards those who are a lot more different than the color of their skin or the languages that they speak." By the time Cecilia had finished her delicious salad, their meals had arrived, the heat rising from the food indicating that it had just come off the stove, but the temperature of it was not too hot to scorch her tongue. Twirling her fork, she gathered the noodles onto the utensil and moved it towards her mouth. Once the Italian cuisine touched her tongue, every one of her tastebuds seemed to awaken as if having been touched by a slice of Heaven.

Still, Cecilia couldn't help, but wish that it was Roulin and herself. Not that Nik wasn't good company, but she should have been here with her boyfriend enjoying this meal. Amara had mentioned that Roulin was only staying away from her to protect her, but Cecilia could see the lies in that. Roulin knew that Cecilia was one of the strongest Owls. There was another reason why Roulin was avoiding her, why he would not even look at her let alone stay in the same room as her for more than thirty seconds. Cecilia was not this Natasha in Nik's story. She couldn't forget about Roulin that easily. She had given him everything and then some. To her it felt like she had given Roulin her heart and he had stomped all over it, then spat in her direction. The saddened Sapphire Owl had no idea of knowing that soon the hurt she was feeling now was only a small pinprick as to the hurt she would be feeling after tonight. She had no idea just what was in store for her.

((Will))

Will chuckled after Serena kissed him and then slipped back inside her room. He looked back at her and smirked. "Ah, Serena... it is one meeting only..." At that point, Serena had pulled a coat from the coat stand and shoved it on, making the coat more form fitting by adding a belt. She playfully teased him and waited on the door frame before snatching his arm She began to guide him out of the room as she declared being outside was better than staring outside. She had a point of course. Like many of the elder Owls, the Satan Owl was well attuned with nature. Way back then, technology wasn't as advanced as it was now.

The Satan Owl kissed Serena lightly as they stepped outdoors and into the garden area. "Ah, Serena. They're not all balding..yet." He patted her on the head. "Besides, the topic is newly developed weapons. There are some companies presenting their designs. There will be samples there.....but I suppose I could just skip that meeting and come with you..." He stroked Serena's hair.

((Myra))

"He will be a fine child," Myra said reassuringly to Erin even as the woman's facial features became a frown and a deeper frown even still as Myra recounted Freya's recent accomplishments. She nodded as she accepted Erin's apology. "She is just in a learning phase....that is all...but too much curiosity isn't good for everyone..." Myra said softly. "Don't worry about the damage..." she added only because she couldn't possibly finish the sentence off with "because nothing can replace the broken items since they are priceless." And with that, the task was left up to Erin to speak to her daughter. "If you need anything, just ring." Myra said with a smile before she took her leave and headed---dun dun dun---- to the office of Sebastian ...

BAM! CRASH! ...and there went Sebastian's office door even if it was unlocked. It was closed, so it was game for being kicked down. That is exactly how Myra treated the door. That's how she felt about Sebastian at this moment. "Sebbbbyyyy..."

Listening to what Demios had to say, he was making very valid points. This was the most he had ever just opened up to Amara, all of the years they had known each other. "Yea....I feel it..." she trailed, she didn't know how to properly respond to the question at hand, besides saying what she felt, but she could not summon an explanation for the way that she felt. "I doubt that your magic has turned away from you...perhaps it's just your emotions that are playing a tole on your abilities....most OWLs go through this Demi, it's normal. When I was pregnant with Aiden, I lost my powers several times." she explained to her friend. Amara then looked off into the distance as she let the words of Demios rest on her ears and her mind.

When he mentioned their formal herald status, Amara closed her eyes, she could see the many people she had killed from possessing that power....Jeannie made sure she could definitely feel the pain of every last one of them..."Light and hope..." she scoffed. "You've must've forgotten everyone I've either killed or attempted to kill with that power" she told him. "But yes...I feel it...everyday...I feel it when I use my abilities...the strength I possess that evolves daily" she said to him. "I feel that me and you...we're like pieces to a puzzle...the traits that you and I possess....it forms a balance" she said sighing. Aiden began to reach towards Demios, more than likely trying to get picked up by the OWL.

"You know...I don't know....I used to blame the way I was on Che...but as I've gotten older...he was the closest thing I've ever had to a father...he may not have been the best...but he helped me...helped me develop skills, my powers and an outlook of how the world really operates. Now I'm chalking it up to that deep down...I've always been broken....I may not know where it comes from...but I do feel that everyone is a tad bit ******** up...me and you...we may just be a little bit more...but we're not horrible people" she added. "And what if we lose? Demios you're starting to sound like a novice at this...we've been fighting for over 15 years now....we always know there is a possibility that we may lose...this isn't some made up idea, that good always triumphs over 'evil'...this is the real world...sometimes the bad guys do win" she said. She wanted Demios to understand where she was coming from with her speaking.

"If we snap Demios...we have loved ones in which I hope would kill us immediately...but I don't see me or you as a threat as of now. That's the funny thing about life Demi...you never know how things will turn out. You can plan and plan for things to go a certain way...but they always almost go another way" she said to him. When he began to list everything that she could lose, she inhaled deeply. "What are you talking about Demios, you have friends, and a family...we're your family" she said with a sisterly tone. "I know I've never said it...but I always viewed you as a little brother...no matter how annoying you were to me" she said with a gentle smile. "As far as what I have to lose...my child is of great importance...but I'd rather he lose me, than for me to lose him and I'll do everything in my power to make sure I'll never lose him...as far as a lover you say" she said chuckling at the word selection Demios had given her.

"As far as that, I don't know if I'll have one for too long. A few days ago...I walked in on Lucien having an affair with Jeannie. I haven't heard from him since....I mean am I that unlovable to the point where he feels that he can't even talk to me. I do admit...the reaction I did give...was a bit harsh...I shouldn't have killed her...but...I wasn't thinking logically....I..." she stopped herself. She never liked to show her insecurities to anyone....Demios wasn't an exception. "Who necessarily says that the darkness is bad...I feel that people misunderstand it...just like darkness can kill...so can light...and light is something revered as something that helps or restores and heals...but darkness could be seen in the same manner..." she trailed. When he commented on how long they had been fighting Amara shook her head. "I agree with you on that Demi...though I fantasize about it on the daily...how it would be just to wake up and be viewed as a human being and not as some person who can do supernatural feats...but I've learned that we must first look at ourselves in that light and create the change we want to see in this world" she told him. Amara began to blush at the compliment looking at Demios slightly. "You're just as strong as me Demi....everyone mistaken aggression for being strong...how you react in times of peril or during the times that you are most uncertain about shows how strong you are....and you're very strong" she told him, resting her eyes on the stars above.

((TFP---Serena))

“Yet? You don’t plan on scaring them into prematurely losing their hair…do you?” Serena asked with a small smirk. Even she would enjoy seeing that, typical Vanishing Owl attitude. Will just had to mention what the topic of the meeting was going to be. Serena glanced up at him with an all too innocent expression; he knew damn well how she would react about this new turn of events. His words were basically leaving Serena feeling torn between the hotsprings visit and the chance to try out some new guns and other weapons as well as helping with new designs. The white haired woman loved nothing more than placing her own little marks onto new guns, in fact the only meetings she ever attended where the ones which enabled her to do just that.

“Well now….Samples you say?”The Vanishing Owl began while acting like it was nothing particularly special “Ah, perhaps you should go…I mean you should probably overlook the meeting and make sure they are not messing around….The hotsprings will still be here when you return…” Serena smiled a bit more and fell silent for a few moments. She closed her eyes when Will stroked her hair, something she was always weak with. “Of course, I could come with you…It’s not like I have anything else to do today” She opened her eyes and patted Will on the arm “Besides, I know a thing or two about weapons, you may need my expertise there to help explain all those little confusing details to you~” She leaned up and kissed him “From there we can visit the hotsprings. What do you think, hmm?”

((NPC---Seb)

Sebastian had finished with his work and was simply sitting in his seat with an expectant gaze. Like he had already expected, his door was smashed off its hinges and sent crashing to the floor. He sighed and shook his head “Oh dear….Myra, that’s the 43rd door this month! Do I need to show you how to use a door? It is rather simple…” The dark haired male stood up and began making a fresh pot of tea “I see you are in a very good mood~”He jested as he turned round to face the blonde woman he simply adored messing with whenever he could. “Are you so happy to see me that the door simply had to go? Come now, don’t linger in the doorway, have a seat and tell me all about your problems and other woman related things….” He smirked knowingly and placed a cup down on his desk for Myra “Tell me how much fun you are having with little Freya~”

((NPC---Erin))

Erin nodded in agreement to what Myra was saying, the blonde female had a point about too much curiosity not being good for everyone. It was just a bit difficult trying to keep Freya under control while not stressing herself out too much. Daryle was far better at keeping the young girl entertained, but of course he was not around currently, that was just like him. “There is no need for her current behaviour.” Erin muttered as she sighed softly “I am really sorry. We came here and ended up causing you trouble. I assure you Freya will behave more accordingly in the future.”

The brunette stood up was Myra began to take her leave “Thank you for the tea and your hospitality, Myra. You have been a wonderful help and great company” The Spanish woman smiled a bit more cheerfully as she watched Myra leave but the smile vanished once the door was closed. “I hope you come back soon, Daryle…” Despite her current mood with the blonde breezy brained man, Erin did miss having him around and wanted to try and make the most of their marrage. She couldn't see herself ever wanting to live without him...If the future saw them breaking up then she wanted to make use of the time they had together...
PostPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:42 pm

The woman closed the door slowly, hearing the click of the door which to her meant safety. She sighed heavily, her demeanor going back to before she met the man in her room now, completely empty. Acelyn took off her shoes and tossed them into the corner with her bag, making a loud thud and clank like it had hit a glass bottle. "I enjoyed Italy. Glad I was born there, but upset I wasn't raised there. I didn't mind being raised in France. My adoptive sister was the first Owl I ever met. At that time I didn't even know I had powers. My sister was the only thing there for me, especially since she took care of me all the time, when I was hurt, when I was sick, hungry even. I barely remember her though, but I do remember her hair, bright red like the sunset. It was beautiful." Her cold eyes shifted to the man on her couch.

"Well since you won't tell me your name, and I have no idea who you are, I will just have to wait and watch what you do before I can give you a nick name. I think One will be fine. It sorta fits." The blonde's hands settled on her hips, breathing out a little as she stretched, her ribs showing through and showing how petite her figure was.

She started to undo her dress, grabbing clothes from her bag. A glass jar the size of her head came rolling out and hitting the man's foot, it seemed to be filled with melted metal, almost like iron. "Excuse me." She walked into the bathroom, changing really quick to a tank top and short shorts, then walking out. "I guess you can already figure out my power. Unless you act dumb, though you are a pretty smart person I can tell." She grabbed the jar and sat down next to the lavender eyed man, her face seemed to be in thought. "So if I may ask, why are you hiding? Getting away from those that probably cared about you most?"

Demios looked at Amara after a moment he had to think a bit about what she had said. It brought him some comfort to know that he wasn't the only one with these feelings. "Perhaps you are right, doubt and fear can be powerful emotions, maybe they have clouded my mind and weakened my abilities" he said. He looked at her "I keep expecting that the world will stop and rest for a moment, that we can have a chance to breathe to have a moment to deal with everything that we've been through and not have to move forward immediately" he said before closing his eyes and letting the night air wash over him.

When he herd her respond to the phoenix he turned back to her "Thats just it, you experienced falling into the abyss of darkness only to rise from the ashes...its funny you almost seem like more of a phoenix now than you did then" He said with a slightly amused look. He paused for a moment to contemplate the theory of them forming a balance "Maybe you are right, together the phoenix and the raven, the mind and the body, maybe they form a balance...a sort of spirit, the essence of humanity in itself...we are elements that are beyond elements mind and magic." He said looking towards the sky. "Our abilities don't hold the typical weakness our biggest weakness is held the limits of our imagination" He said as he closed his hands for a moment before opening them and glowing star like figures swirled around the three of them briefly before vanishing. It was then that he noticed the child reaching for him. He walked over to Amara and looked at her "May I?" He asked before gently lifting and holding the child. "My grandmother always said that children held the purest form of magic, they are not bound by the laws of reality and destiny that we so desperately cling to, they are free to do whatever they dream" he said looking lost in his memories.

He was brought from his thoughts as he herd mention of Che's name briefly giving an angry look but it quickly faded "....Che" he whispered only barely audible. "I used to believe he stole our childhood from us...he took away our lives...that we were only pawns in his sick game" He said weakly. "I herd she used to watch over me....using all her magics to make sure I was always going in the right direction....always hoping I'd be led back to her...I guess it wasn't too long after I turned against Che that she died." He said making a distant reference to his grandmother, "You would've liked her, she always seemed to bring light in the worst of situations" he said. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small necklace charm and placed it on Aiden "She gave me this shortly before we joined Che actually, she said it was a gift from the gods, a magical trinket that protected one from the darkness that surrounded them, and kept one close to those who loved them" He said, the charm was a simple moon with a pentacle in the center. He smiled a bit "I believe its how she watched over and protected me, I hope it can only do the same for you" He said talking to Aiden in a soft tone. He tuned back to Amara "Its funny I never felt like a child of Che's, even when I wanted to...I was never the child prodigy, but perhaps thats why I clung to Armand, he always seemed like the big brother I never had...even when my world fell apart he was there to show me how to fix it, when I lost him I felt like I had lost the last thing that was keeping me together" he said looking down for a moment his eyes watering "...Sometimes I think we are a family...but then I remember, Che has his family, his sons...when this is over he wont need us anymore...and we'll all fade away...just like we always do" He said. He leaned forward and kissed Aidens forehead before handing him back to Amara. "When this is over you wont want us either, you wont want to be see the remnants of all that you have lost...all that you want to forget" He said in a sad tone.

Finally he herd her talk about Lucien "Heh, we sound so alike...neither of us can handle loss" he said as he looked toward the night sky again. "Sure we may not have the same experiences, but both of us lose ourselves to our darksides in moments of pain and loss, just because its easier to feel nothing, to feel numb, than it is to feel the cold sting of the real world" he said. He waved his hands and spheres appeared before them that slowly had the faces of their friends and allies appear in them and began circling them. "You do have a point...our friends find comfort in the light, where they can see the world for what it could be....we, however, find comfort in the darkness, in the night, where the world is hidden away...we are but outsiders in a world we no longer fit into...we have seen our inner demons, we have sought to destroy existence if it would only relieve us of our pain...and yet here we are ready to fight for that world, ready to face our demons just so that those we love can live their lives" He said. It was then that the spheres cracked and shattered turning to dust and blowing away, now there were only a few spheres left one of Aiden, another of Lucien, and the last of Genya. "I don't know what we will find in the world after this, but it is because of them that we will move forward, that we will do what we have to...we will protect them and save the world in which they live...even if we are not part of their world anymore...perhaps they will remember us or perhaps they will move on, but we will still do all we can for them....because they are the reason why we are still here....why we are still fighting" He said his voice sounding a bit warmer. He smiled at Amara "I'm not sure how strong I can be, but as long as your standing there with me I know I will fight to the end, that way no matter what in the end we wont be alone" he said. He then looked up into the stars with her just in time to see a star shoot by in the night sky.

((Will))

"Losing their hair?" Will smirked. "They can go do that themselves." Yup, he knew exactly how Serena felt about guns. He chuckled as Serena first mentioned hot springs and then decided that the hot springs wouldn't be going anywhere. "Ah, yes, you and your expertise, bunny... are invaluable..." since this line might just be nicknamed Bunny Mk II just as a joke notwithstanding the fact that Will had been a weapons maker in his youth. He accepted her kiss and then nodded. "Perfect plan, bunny. Meeting then hot springs." And so... they were off to the meeting, which was happening this time on the estate.

The meeting was in a Japanese style tea room. Will took a seat at one end of the table and patted the space next to him. The others in the room had already arrived and were seated. As Serena suspected, the others in the room were all male. However, they were not balding...not all of them anyway. One of them was balding, but the rest still had plenty of hair. It was a rather small meeting with four visitors representing four different designers. "Guns? On the table." The blonde smiled as eight guns were placed on the table. They were sniper type weaponry.

((Myra))

Myra narrowed her eyes as her eyes focused on Sebastian, who was calm as ever and was now making tea. Screw that. "You have NO excuse!" And there went the first object in the room, a bookcase tossed with books and all right at Sebastian.

Roulin studied girl's movements while she did what seemed to be her entrance routine. The door was shut, probably locked he thought from the sound of the following click. Her shoes were kicked off and as best as she could around the stranger with eccentric eyes, she relaxed and even spoke to him, revealing a bit of her past. Tilting his head to the side, his eyes peering out of the window into the light polluted skies of Las Vegas, Roulin decided to listen to the blonde woman before she departed to the bathroom to redress into something more homey. As his own silent quip, he undid one button on his collar. Following that, he folded one leg over the other and laced his fingers beneath his chin in wait.

After Acelyn exited the bathroom, the Italian studied her movements once more. He wasn't suspicious. Rather, he was content with this setting and this meeting. Although he didn't know the girl and probably knew her power by now, he knew that if she tried to kill him or something of that nature, he could take her out with no effort. "Red hair? Italian or French? Sounds smoking hot already. The whole taking care of you part when you were sick and hungry thing only adds to that...essence she seemed to have though. That motherly essence." When the girl sat and stretched, lavender eyes were drawn to her much like the purple eyes of a certain lecherous man's would. It wasn't for her sinewy body that seemed to meander rhythmically as she walked or her blonde hair that seemed to had grown unhindered. Her face seemed familiar to the Owl detective and intuition just made him stare longer and harder at her. Only after the jar of metal rolled by his foot was he snapped back to reality.

"One," the young man called out to Acelyn. "My name is Roulin. Most people call me Rou for short." His shoes came off as he obliged her effort to get comfortable with effort on his own end. If there was no hostility, then surely he could relax until his xenophobia got the best of him. Still, as long as this little woman remained amiable, he could as well. "You're a metal user. I'm guessing you can feel the metal in other people as well so you're more in tune with your ability than most. Just...the extent of your power eludes me. And to answer your question, I'm hiding from...people. I can't think around them I've decided to go zone out for a day or two. If they care about me how I do them, then they'll understand despite the pain." Looking up at the blonde woman who sat next to him in her tank top and short shorts, her face seeming to dwell in thought, Roulin asked with a quaint grin, "Did you invite me up to eat with you, One? Or did you invite me up to speak with someone? To connect with somebody? I'm thinking the latter, in which case, I suppose was lucky to have been chosen. Meeting new people never gets old..."
