Shiki went silent for a few minutes before speaking again, "...I cut her head off..." He said. His eyes clouded over and looked downwards in guilt.

"I saw," Sandra said, remembering the sound that she had made when he stabbed her in the chest. She held his hand tighter.

"...I've become much more dangerous than I was before..." Shiki looked away from Sandra. He could hear the ear-shattering screams as well.

"Still, I can't say I'm afraid of you," Sandra said with a small, wry smile. SHe knew of all the things she was feeling, fear was not one of them.

"You should be," shiki said quieter.

"But I'm not," Sandra replied, glancing at him. "I'm not afraid of you, even when you were attacking me. I wasn't afraid for myself for even a moment."

Shiki looked over at Sandra. He didn't know what to say. She didn't fear him even as he was threatening to take her life? And it wasn't just this one time either.

Sandra smiled smally at him. She wondered not for the first time if she was truly insane, but this kind of insanity, she didn't mind. She didn't want to fear SHiki, she wanted to love him with all her heart. And she did.

"I guess I shouldn't doubt you," Shiki said and gave her hands a squeeze.

Sandra lifted up her free hand and put it on the side of his face. She turned his head gently so that she could kiss his lips gently.

Shiki turned a little so he was facing Sandra more. He let go of Sandra's hand so he could hold her near.

Sandra moved her arms so they were around his neck. She kissed him tenderly, trying to offer him some comfort.

Shiki held Sandra like he never wanted to let her go. The world around him seemed to fade away as he kissed Sandra. It was like magic that he wouldn't react to.

Sandra smiled slightly against his lips and then moved her hands so she could gently rub his shoulders. She wanted him to know that she would always love him no matter what.

Shiki pulled her closer still, but he was running low on air. He tried to pull his lips away while pulling her body closer.
