[Randomly Gone Insane]

Edge landed on the ground, and spun herself to keep watching Sphere as he passed. As he crashed into a building, two saw blades rolled into her fingers and her hands went back, prepared to throw again.

She watched Sphere closely, waiting for the next move. As he started to uncoil, she immediately threw the blades at him so there would be less time for the Maverick to react and absorb both of the blades in his arm as he had done last time.  

[Zahzi]

One of the sawblades did hit his center, Sphere gave a pained groan, before the missile batteries were activated again, only this time, ALL of the missiles were launched at Edge. As the missiles neared her, he coiled back into his ball form and bolted towards her.

Steam looked over his shoulder at the fight for a moment, fully prepared to drag Edge away if she were to become too damaged.

Edge smirked confidently as she heard her blade hit and Sphere groan in pain. Her theory was right. Now it was time to repeat the process..

The moment to attack again was lost though, and Edge saw even more missiles were fired at her. The amount was greater, and they covered a large area. Jumping to the side was suicidal, so Edge flipped back, and continued to do enough back flips so that she was out of the blast radius. When the missiles were gone, she stopped on her feet, unfortunately in front of Sphere and with no room to react. He rolled into her, knocking her back on the ground which then resulted in her being ran over.
Edge groaned in pain after Sphere had passed, a clear straight dent line going vertically on her body. Aside from armor denting though, and pain, she was fine. She couldn't feel any damage to her systems, which still held up. For now.
"Fair enough." She growled as she pulled herself out of the ground.  

[Zahzi]

Unlike last time, he did not uncoil from the ball, but only used his arm like last time, remaining still, as if staring at her, keeping in position with his fist planted on the ground.
"How long do you think until your armor shatters under the weight?"

Steam winced when the ball slammed into her. When he was sure she was ok, at least for now, he turned his attention back to the wall of smoke, still waiting.

As Edge got back to her feet, she faced Sphere again. She scoffed at his question, "Long enough to end you." She lightly moved around, getting a feeling for how well her body was still working. Everything felt smooth and fine, so Edge rolled out two more blades into her hands, and simply waited.  

[Zahzi]

Sphere then shot towards her in the same manner as usual, but, as he grew closer, his arms uncoiled from the ball, and went to grab her as he passed by.

Edge was a bit surprised to see his arms coming out, and immediately jumped off to the side to avoid him. She didn't know what he was trying to do, but she was not inclined to find out. In her surprise, Edge threw out the blades she had at the arm placement that faced her.  

[Zahzi]

As if on instinct when he didn't reach her, he slammed his fist on the ground, making himself turn and charge at her again, the blades hitting the center and ricocheting off.

Steam's stealth deactivated, giving his power supply a little break, but he continued to watch the wall of smoke as the two fought behind him.  

[Zahzi]

The winged Maverick looked down at Steam from above and gave a grunt.
"Nothing but a rookie sidekick...."

((Oh snap.))

Edge growled in anger and a bit of surprise as she leapt aside again to avoid Sphere, throwing two more saw blades at his arm opening as she went through the air.

The fight between Sphere and Edge seemed to be going in a perpetual zig-zag formation, as Dozer continued to watch, actually formulating a plan.

Steam looked up at the Flying Maverick, watching it as Steam tossed yet another Smoke grenade into the wall of smoke.
