mc2 "Oh, feel free to raid my drawers and wear whatever you want," Cassie added.
Felicia Carter ???
Felicia saw what Cassie picked out. She thought she could find something similar. In Cassie's closet she paired a "Cincinnati Reds" shirt with a pair of olive shorts and pushed her hair back with a head band that she thought went with the rest of her outfit. Though she wasn't really familiar with the team, the Cincinnati Reds she just thought it was a cute shirt. She was deciding against shoes this time because she liked being able to feel the ground with her feet. It seemed weird to her to cover them up but wouldn't mind doing so if that's what people do.
Felicia and Cassie went out the door to get to class on time ready to see what would happen with Mr. Nixon and his students.

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth Dean was still in the kitchen flexing his muscles a bit. He did that sometimes when he was bored. He also needed to kill time a little to mess with their heads. But he wondered how they would assault him. Would they use weapons or only their own fist and feet? Dean hadn't been very specific on that. He shrugged. It would make things a lot more interesting that's for sure. A wave of excitement surged through him as he walked towards the training room. This was going to be fun. The idea of having them wait was to stretch their patience. If they waited too long they would call off their assault. If he entered before they could get ready it would be called off since they simply had no chance without the element of surprise. But with having them wait longer than they had planned they would get doubts. Dean stood before the door with a playful grin. The door slid open. His muscles were relaxed, his breathing steady, eyes scanning the room. From the side a red hair student lunged at him. A premature strike since he was impatient." Too soon!" He spoke loudly. Dean bent over backward slightly to avoid the punch. His hand shot out to the boys wrist. With a twist he pulled it down behind the boys back. A kick followed up. Right against his behind causing the boy to stumble forward against another of his classmates. Two feisty girls charged at him next. One did a low sweep at the height of his knees while the other's kick aimed for his chest. It was a decent combo. It took away a few options of him. He could not duck nor jump to avoid it. Dean caught both of their feet at the ankle. Now they were at his mercy. As the tried to get out of his grip, he quickly pushed them away while holding them to destroy their balance. Pulling them in strongly he let go of their ankles and launched both of his palms against their chest to knock them back." Nice coordination!" One fellow with a Bo staff came at him. The staff spun expertly as he rotated it constantly. Twisting and turning his own body he launched upward strikes with both ends of the staff as he continued to rotated them. Dean had always liked that young man. He was good with weapons. The movements of the staff varied with horizontal swings. The way Dean was dodging without trying to counter must have had him thinking he had him on the ropes but it couldn't be further from the truth. The moment the guy went in with a stab Dean stepped deeper his range. The guy responded excellently by leaped back with a spin of the staff. But Dean had anticipated that. He continued to rush in and before the guy had a proper stance Dean slid past his defense and swooped his feet from underneath him. His sweep followed up with a kick at his waist which connected painfully. " Excellent!" He shouted out in his excitement. But as always there was one among them who he just disliked. And the feeling was most mutual. The guy came running at him shouting and swinging a baseball bat at his head. Dean caught it, twisted and decked the guy full force in the face. This may seem to be a bit too brutal of a counter but the student broke an rule of his. The student fell backwards. Blood pouring out of his nose. Dean stood over him and stomped his foot on his chest as one final punishment. He was visibly angry." You never..EVER fight like that! You understand me?! Using a baseball bat aimed at my head....you freaking idiot! This is martial arts not some gang fight! Get the hell out of my sight!" Dean shouted at him literally kicked him aside towards the exit. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, letting the anger flow away. This would not spoil what just happened. " The rest of you...well done. With a bit more coordination like the girls did you might have stood a small chance." Dean said with a proud smile. He really did think they did a good job.

Felicia Carter ???
Felicia watched as Mr. Nixon taught each of his students that he wasn't going to get the drop on him today. This made it quite obvious that this is why he's the leader of the X-Men Wow! I wish I could fight like that... Perhaps not as roughly as he did that one kid. She was excited about going to class in her normal form. Then all of the sudden she felt scared. There were more people around her than she was used to. She rubbed her arm a little and stayed close to Cassie.

Cassandra Song Diaz but you can call me Love or Heartbreaker Cassie glanced up occasionally at the fight, but spent most of the time inspecting her nails. She dropped her hand and watched as the one guy came running with a baseball bat and Cassie watched as Dean fought back, leaving the student with a bloody nose. She buried her face in her hands as Dean shouted at him and she muttered, "Idiot... what an idiot..."
Glancing back up she listened to Mr. Nixon praise the rest of the students. There were a few reluctant smiles of the students despite their disappointment. She noticed as the action progressed Felicia approached her closer, and Cassie smiled some, before saying, "Well, Mr. Nixon, since the chance to get out of class didn't work for anyone, what's the lesson for the day? Besides charging head first into a martial arts match is stupid and reckless..."

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth Dean was in thought. He was going to demonstrate a bit of Krav Maga but the MRD parade was on his mind. Which brought him to something else. A little invention of them. Something he hated. Something all mutants hated. The Mutant Collar. He let out a bit of a sigh. Dean had actually wore that ...contraption even if it was for a few moment but the experience was long enough for him. If possible he would have liked these children to never go through that. "I was going to show you a bit of Krav Maga. But with the upcoming MRD parade something else might be better. It's funny in a way. I am teaching you all about how to use your own body as a weapon instead of your power but this will be for you to keep your power. Some of you might know what I am talking about. The Mutant Collar. Cassandra here knows I had one. Hell she was the one who took it off. Which I am still grateful for." He gave her a small appreciative nod. A long metallic poke with the edge of a half circle at the end appeared in his hand. A police restraint stick as they called it. The end was a bit smaller in order to fit limbs instead of the waist. "It is difficult to defend yourself against something like this if there are multiple people trying to take you down with this. First they will pin you to the wall at the waist with a larger one. After that they aim for your legs and arms so you can't throw around whatever power you have. If you are a telekinesis user, telepath or teleporter you don't have to worry about these things. " Dean explained." Next they will use the one with the collar at the end. After that it is all over for you." He paused to let it sink in. This was one of those things he'd rather not have them go through but it was a necessity for their survival if they were ever up against the MRD. "I have prepared a program for you in the danger room which will give you this experience. I know it is not something you are used to from me since I believe no program can ever overcome the unpredictability of humankind but for now it's for the best. However it is Felicia's first day here as a student so I shall stay here and instruct her . Head over to the Danger Room and give it your all guys.Use everything at your disposal. Everything that I have taught you. Good luck"

Cassandra Song Diaz but you can call me Love or Heartbreaker Some looks were exchanged between the students as Dean spoke about the mutant collars and then singled out Cassie. She blushed slightly at his praise and the awed look of her classmates. While Cassie loved being in the spotlight, but there was a down side too: her classmates would start bothering her and acting like she was something more amazing than she really was.
"I suppose I have to head over to the danger room, too?" Cassie sighed. "Something about keeping my skills sharp even though I have hands on experience with those things, right?"
"Aw come on," said the boy who had attacked Dean with a bo staff, "Maybe you can give us a couple hints on how to deal with those things." Cassie raised a brow at him before turning her attention to her teacher as she stretched.

Felicia Carter ???
The fox girl looked to Cassie and softly said, "wow" in awe.
Felicia's ears lowered as Dean covered the procedure. This brought memories of when those men interrupted the last dinner she had with her family. They didn't apply the others, perhaps because they figured she was easier to handle and didn't feel the need to. As he covered the last part, the collar, she rubbed her neck. They almost placed one on her. It was a good thing she escaped when she could. Regardless she will have to face this if she were to go save her parents or in this trip to New York.
After that he mentioned that he wanted to instruct her alone from the rest of the class. She felt she could use it even though they've had one lesson already.

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth "A-yep. You should. They took me down with those things so you should." Dean replied. He raised a eyebrow at the question of a couple of hints. He might be right though. A couple of hints wouldn't be too bad. "Well you should keep that staff with you. Keep on deflecting those sticks. That's just for when you are at the end of it. But with all poles and staves, you should step in close. They can't put enough force in it if you are in close. So try to deflect and then step in." Dean said finishing his hints. That should get them on their way.

Cassandra Song Diaz but you can call me Love or Heartbreaker "Well, there you go, the sensei I has spoken," Cassie said draping her arm over the shoulders of two of her classmates, one boy, one girl. "Off to the danger room, then?"
There was general agreement as they headed out. Cassie said in a cheerful voice, "Anyone want to bet they can beat my score in the danger room? Winners get a kiss from me, losers have to carry my shopping bags sometime I go on a shopping trip and do dishes for a week."
Her classmates informed her that the terms were ridiculous and the odds weren't well enough in her favor. Shrugging she said as they arrived at the danger room, "Your loss."

Felicia Carter ???
As the class left for the danger room. Felicia stayed and approached Myth. She was still rubbing her neck. It was obvious that his words left an impression of sorts on the fox girl. She looked up to him, "So, what now?" she simply asked.

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth Sensei...what is this? A japanese Anime or something? Dean face-palmed and shook his head. He turned his attention to Felicia. "If you really want to go on the next mission, I need to work you to the bone. Plus you have a fight with Cassandra coming up. One that I would not like to see you lose." Dean said. "Besides one lesson isn't enough to get to her level. Even if you are a natural."

Felicia nodded in agreement. There was no denying that the girl need ore training. "I'm not sure if I'm the natural or the other side is... That dream... the green eyes staring back at me. I do fear that it does mean something more. Something that has not come to pass yet..." she seemed a little worried about it all and was rubbing her arm.

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth "That may be so but worrying about it now won't help anyone. You do not know what it means and neither do we. So you shouldn't waste time on it. Thinking too much about something isn't always good. The answer just may come to you when you don't think about it." Dean said offering his advice."Now go put on your gear. I will not be so easy on you as I did yesterday. Cassandra won't go easy on you either." Felicia's gear would be a full suit made of different parts. Each bit padded to provide protection. Gloves, shin guards, chest, feet, helmet. The whole thing. It wouldn't restrict her movements since the joints were left open. The gear that he 'equipped' was different as it just gloves and shin protectors. They weren't for his protection. It was for her since he would be attacking more seriously than yesterday.

Felicia Carter ??? Felicia nodded at his advise, he had a point after all she didn't know what it all meant and there's no certainty that she would realize that it has come to pass. With a little more enthusiasm she nodded as he requested that she put on her gear.
With her gear on she faced her teacher. Though she had her foot guards on she took off her socks and shoes. Her feet felt like they were suffocating, she wasn't sure how people could wear them all day. She felt she needed to feel the ground somehow. She felt most comfortable that way and less bounded.
She stood there with one of the defensive stances she was taught yesterday. "R-Ready when you are."

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth "Good, it seems you remember. At least you did. Some of the kids never seem to get it right at once." Dean spoke as he walked towards her to inspect her form. With his foot he tapped against a foot of her to push it out slightly. "Better." As he walked back he decided on how to attack. It was good she wanted to learn to defend herself and to become an X-men but if they accepted people solely by those requirements many people would be one. She knew what it was like to attack but not to be attacked. Not with serious intent. Despite the gear it would hurt. "Now dodge!" He commanded as he instantly turned around, easily closing the gap between them. His right hook was aimed at her head. It was simple but precise and on a whole different level than yesterday.
