 Sumina rolled her eyes and opened the door to the house. She set her back pack down on the kitchen table and walked to the fridge to get some juice to drink. "She probably doesn't trust us. Which is sad considering there is only a few of us here anyways." She said and poured a glass. Taking a drink she turned to face Saber Tooth. "I've met the X-men. They aren't that tough. Their minds are weak, they have no defenses. Except one that I can't seem to access at all." She said, putting the juice away. Sumina thought about running her idea past Saber Tooth. "I recently figured out I can influence people to do what I want them to do. Even if it goes against what they think. There's a boy like you and Wolverine there and his mind is vulnerable right now. What would you think if I tried to influence him?" Despite what ever answer Saber Tooth gave her she was going to do it. She just wanted to see what he would say to it.

Henry nodded slowly. "Ororo was very dear to us. And her loss was a tragedy that none of us have ever recovered from. Still, you shouldn't feel like an outcast or a replacement. I'm certain David doesn't think of you as the new Storm."
Victor grinned slowly. "A boy like me and Logan? How interesting..." Al sorts of viscous thoughts went though his head, but one was clear. "Go for it. I'd love having a protege'."

 Masika Yejide ~Tempest Masika chuckled humorlessly. "Of course he doesn't. David knows nothing about Shangazi Ororo other than the stories from his childhood and that I look like her and have the same powers as she." She was silent for a little while, then, "I wish I could have known her. Perhaps she would have been able to help me control these powers better."

Henry nodded again. "That would have been the ideal scenario. But things hardly happen the way we wish them to. Logan and Jean do understand a great deal about your powers though. I think you could could find a way to be comfortable in your own skin, you'd have far better control over your powers. They are directly linked to your emotional state, and you've never been very stoic."

Sumina nodded to Saber Tooth. "Then be quiet so I can concentrate." She said then closed her eyes, focusing on David's mind. She pushed her way into his subconscious and looked for a weak point in his memories. The only ones she could really read were the ones of the last few days. She was too weak to do anymore than that. 'David, this isn't you. You're better than the rest of the X-men. That new girl, Sam, she did this to you on purpose. She wanted to send your mutation into a tail spin. You need to leave them.' She ended it at that. she had put the same force and power as she had used with the office lady before.

After a few minutes, Sam realized the person was making no attempts to come closer. She took that as a sign that it was just a mourner, come to pay their respects. It was an active cemetery, as far as she knew at least. Lot's of places to put the newly dead.
Without saying a word, she got to her feet and walked along the rows. Appreciating the effort, Sam decided she really did want a moment or two alone. She only hoped Vincent didn't take offense.
"Don't worry. I'll be back before dinner," she said as she weaved around some spirit trees.
. . . Then grab my hand and hold me close. Save me from this earthly dose.

A slow, steady gurgling sound fell from David's mouth. It seemed simple enough. Henry paused, and stood up. He leaned over David to see if David was waking up. There was a moment where nothing happened. The, in a sudden burst, David's clawed hand caught Henry on the side of the head. Henry was sent directly into the stove. David was up, and moving before anyone could even blink. David bounded like a wild animal on all fours towards the door, pausing at the door and looking back at Masika. Before he could speak, he turned and bolted through the institute and outside. Even as feral as he was, he was no fool. He found the nearest manhole and went underground to avoid the MRD agents. Then, using his sense of smell, began to track where the voice in his head was calling him. He reached Sumina in a matter of minutes. Henry was out cold, though not bleeding.

Masika Yejide ~Tempest Masika was taken completely by surprise by David's sudden flurry of action. But she recovered quickly. She crouched beside Henry, checking for any wounds. She couldn't find any, and his breathing was steady. Just unconscious. David had paused when he left. Why had he paused. It had looked like he was going to say something, but what? She had to find him before he hurt someone. Or himself. Normally she would be freaking out right now; trying to control powers that wouldn't listen to her. But she was calm. For some reason she'd gone past the emotional stage and straight to cool and calculating. She had to find David. But how? Where could he have gone? She couldn't use her powers to find him with all those MRD agents everywhere.

As she walked through the well tended grounds, scuffing her boots on loose pebbles, Sam felt a sudden pressure, like a punch to the stomach. She dropped to her knees, one hand on grave marker.
"David," she whispered. At first she did not understand why his name was on her lips, but then the answer came almost at once. Just like when she raised an animal and it stayed near her for a while, so too should David have been effected. She could feel him on the move, but it was jumbled by distance and it felt like he kept changing directions.
She at first felt relieved to know he was up and about. It was convenient that he was able to bounce back from such trauma. Then she felt shame anew, knowing that she had done this to him, but that was curtailed by the fear that something was drawing him away.
Stumbling to her feet once more, she tried to follow the clenching feeling. It was a first, having something she had put energy into pull her along, but it only made her better understand what the animals went through. And it felt better to close the distance, if only a little, then to let him get farther away. Like a rope tied them together, made of the power they shared.
. . . Then grab my hand and hold me close. Save me from this earthly dose.

Sumina pulled back from David's mind after he woke up, opening her eyes and smirking at Saber Tooth. "He'll be here shortly." She said and watched as almost as soon as the words left her lips, David was in front of her. "Saber Tooth, this is David, David, Saber Tooth." She said gestureing to whom ever she was naming. She looked at David. His appearance was different. "David could you please show your human self? Your beast mode isn't needed among friends." She said, but not using her power. she didn't feel the need to use it. ((Will have to go soon, flight boarding))

David breathing was deep and heavy. And even though Sumina was no longer clawing at his mind, he felt oddly compelled to do what she asked. Slowly, his breathing began to stabilize. He dehunched, and stood upright, slowly but surely turning back into his human form. His violent mutation had ended at last. David felt different. He couldn't place why, but he did. "I... I-I..." David said, not even sure what he was trying to say. He felt like he wanted to speak. But nothing came to mind. "I'm... Grizzly..." David said finally. His mutant name seemed to suit him better now.

Untouchable_Sanity Sumina looked at David questioningly. She hadn't done anything drastic to his mind but he was like a completely different person. She wanted to go back into his mind to see what had changed, but she didn't want to mess up his mind anymore than it was. "Alright Grizzly, but your allowed to speak freely here. Speak you mind." She said, noting his hesitation to say something earlier. She would wait until later to go through David's mind to find out what was wrong.

"If this is all, I've been disappointed." Sabertooth said with a scowl. He walked up to David, and began to size him up like a dog show judge. David obviously didn't like that, since his arm shot out and knocked Sabertooth upside his head. Sabertooth wasn't hurt from it, but he looked back at David with surprise. "Don't touch me." David said with a growl. He cracked his neck, starting to feel a bit more normal again. He looked down at his claw, noticing his nails turned black when they extended now, and they jutted out an extra two inches. David cocked on eyebrow. He was different. But still the same. It would take some getting used to, but he knew he was still the same person. David looked at Sumina. "He touches me again, and I'm ripping him in half." He said as if Sumina were Sam or Masika. Sabertooth stood up, and smacked his knee. "Hoodang! You found me a good one. Yeah, he'll be perfect."

Sam was back in the heart of the city, winding her way through the streets. She knew that David had stopped moving, but she still didn't know where he had gone. MRD agents patrolled the area, looking for she could only guess were people acting out of the ordinary. Thankful for the one and only upside to letting her power loose, she continued her journey.
The pain in her stomach had eased somewhat, but it was replaced with a growing anxiety. Eyes scanning the crowds of wandering people, she wondered what on earth had made him want to come here after everything that had happened. Then a thought occurred to her. What if he left without her to confront Sumina? A small thread of anger warmed her face.
Then she felt the direction change and she stopped at a gate. Hiding to the side, she heard voices, one all too familiar. With her heart in her throat, she tried to stay out of sight and listen for confirmation of her hidden fear.
. . . Then grab my hand and hold me close. Save me from this earthly dose.
