[RAID] A Legendary Heist

Rory had been about to dodge the attack that the Keldeo had unleashed until he heard the familiar scream and his heart dropped into his stomach. Turning towards the female agent's group, he barely registered Tambrey hitting the ground as pain shot through his body.

Gritting his teeth as he hit, he noticed the blood coming from somewhere as he reached for a pokeball at his belt. Unsure of if it would work, he decided it was worth the risk as he attempted to send out Magnus

"Y-yeah, negotiation, that's w-" Lu cut off his reply to Zacharie, noticing the Keldeo's sudden movement...

Lu heard Zacharie yell out a warning, but he'd only managed to take a step back before it hit. Lu stumbled and fell as the Keldeo cut a gash up across his abdomen and arm, sending him curling in on himself as he hit the ground.

...This didn't feel good at all. Lu bit down hard on his lip, wrapping his unscathed arm across his body. He heard Zacharie calling out to him and Tambrey but he only managed a groan in reply. He could feel a warm liquid seeping over his arm and didn't dare open his eyes to see the damage.

With her Cofagrigus completely shielding her from damage with its Protect, Noel tilted her head lightly to a side, raising her hand thoughtfully to her chin as Aulus spoke. "I'm sorry? If you're insinuating I have some affiliation with Team Galactic, I'm afraid your assumption is off the mark."

Lily's demeanor changed at Aulus's words, and she suddenly burst into laughter - though that didn't stop her returning to a defensive position in front of Noel. "What the hell makes you think we want anything from you? Not that I've any idea who you are, anyway," she added with a derisive snort.

Her smile iced over as she pressed the switch again to return any released pokemon to its ball once more. She gestured to Kyle nearby, "Do you consider me a threat? Your teammates need your assistance. If it makes things easier for you, we can see ourselves out. Lily." She returned her Cofagrigus to its ball and raised a pure white pokeball to replace it. Lily, similarly, returned her Audino as she was addressed.

The little Keldeo, stumbling and recoiling from the attacks that came again, was relieved when the enemy pokemon disappeared abruptly once more, but in another moment its small size, along with everyone in the courtyard, was dwarfed by the pokemon that appeared, and it backed away wide-eyed, falling over itself in the combination of paralysis and surprise.

The pokemon Noel released was a towering, grisly black and red Yveltal, and the beast released a bone-chilling shriek as it was freed. As relaxed as they had been for the duration of their presence, Noel and Lily moved to climb upon the pokemon's broad back, the latter of the pair sticking out her tongue at the felled Kyle as she did so.

Xander stood there with wide eyes when they summoned a freaking Yveltal to use as a carry bird. On one hand they said they were Galactics, on the other hand the Yveltal was a giant flying dark type of death. He once again tried to call out a pokemon, though this time it was Angel, just in case a Protect was needed.

Okay...so the pokemon were a no go. He had to try again.

This time, he used the last two pokeballs Irina had lifted from Ranger A, pointing them at the Keldeo even as his gaze was drawn over to the loud shriek. "What the actual ********?!" He screeched in exasperation. "You literal pieces of s**t!" He was done! Seriously?! What the hell was this bullshit!?

"..." Tambrey breathed carefully, then, pained, answered Zacharie, without moving, and with a tone of quiet trepidation as the pokémon all vanished once more, leaving them, again, unprotected from Keldeo.
"I'm fine. I'm conscious and I can answer you. See to Lu."

Riley watched, stunned, as the new pokemon made its appearance, her jaw dropping completely. "...what!?"

Though the pokemon had been called back again, at least they could get out, and she released Molly and Mia once more, sending Molly off to the Keldeo again this time with the orders for Grass Whistle... again... following just behind her, though she never took her eyes off the dark bird. Mia followed.

The fact that they weren't team Galactic more or less registered with Aulus as he shouted orders to his team and left him confused. Claire had seemed so sure... so had the pink-haired one been a Galatic once but broken with them? No damn time to worry about that now however, they had a mission to complete.

Char, released once again, took to the air and raced towards the Yveltal hoping to rip into it with claws and teeth as instructed.

As the others came out once again they struggled to get their bearings, but Aulus was already running towards the fallen Keldeo. This was probably a really really damn stupid idea but he was fresh out of good ideas so there it was. As he drew close he grabbed the box he used to store berries in out of his pocket and scanned for an injury that he could collect blood from, even as he grabbed for a handful of tail with his free hand, trying to pull it out by the roots.

He felt really bad about this, for the record.

Xander shook his head then pulled out more pokeballs and called out Zack and Fai. "Zack, Flame Wheel, Fai, Twister, both on the Yveltal!"

The large shadow distracted him from trying to figure out where he was bleeding out, his eyes widening as he looked up at the huge pokemon. If they could get a sample of that...

Sample...they still needed to get a sample from the Keldeo. For now, it was distracted and...scared? Sitting up seemed to cause the blood to flow more but he tried to make his way closer to Tambrey's group. Spotting Aulus rushing over and collecting the sample himself, Rory let out an uneasy breath as he leaned back on the ground.

For once, he wished he had a flying type. Instead he released Magnus from his pokeball, "Transform and get after that thing!"

Huh? Screeching?
Oh, wonderful, an omen; the bird of death.
No, no. She wasn't /that/ injured... Tambrey frowned at the big bird she could glimpse from where she was.
That was... surprising.
"Zacharie! Lu?" She forced a little more urgency into her tone, trying to break the shouting. Fix Lu. Get sample.
That was what she /wanted/ to tell Zacharie... but she wasn't telepathic, and talking took time and breath.

Riley, upon seeing Aulus hurtling toward the Keldeo, took on a burst of speed herself, hoping by the time she reached it, that Molly's attack would have worked it's magic. She didn't want to hurt it... but blood....Blood would be best.

"Son of a b***h." Kyle growled, pressing a hand into the gash now bleeding on his and chest.
for the most part he could move, though it was incredibly painful.
Pushing himself up onto his elbow with a light hiss of pain, before leveling a squinted yellow eye onto Noel and Lily.

"Not Galactic?" He said, sounding confused, then who the hell were they with? how could the Elite be that mistaken?
What the HELL was wrong with Rockets and their messed up information!? FOR CRYING OUT LO-

Kyle was about to work his way back to his feet, feeling alright to stand despite the wound that he had sustained. He wasn't sure what these women wanted, but they seemed to be finished talking regardless.
But the sight that met Kyle next froze him dead in his tracks.

"Oh No! NO NO NO NO!" Kyle let out a shrike of terror as the towering pokemon let out its scream of death, one that Kyle himself was not all that oblivious to.
He wasn't aware of anything else that was going on, only that the legendary of death was hanging over them with the clawed wings he knew to suck the very life of anyone caught beneath them.

Kyle tried to stand, but again he found himself on the ground, throwing himself back as fast as he could to try and create some distance between himself and the Yveltal, eyes wide in terror and his usually nearly slicked back hair now thrown into his clearly horrified face.
He knew this pokemon first hand, and he KNEW what it did.
Oh god they were all going to die!

Lu rolled himself onto his back after a few moments, propping himself up on one arm and watching the scene unfold.

... Oh, an Yveltal. Lu felt like an Articuno had tried to freeze him again, his fear along with his injuries kept him stationary. Eyes glued to the giant legendary, Lu pushed himself to his feet, standing on weak knees. "Z-Zacharie? I don't- I don't think yelling is... did we get the Keldeo? Can we go? I think it's a good time to go..." he murmured, looking around finally and despairing to find they hadn't gotten the Keldeo.
