Roulin's eyes had already left the detailed sketches that were in the sketchbook. The last picture placed a bitter taste in his mouth that could only be removed once he forgot it about entirely. The image hurt even if outwardly he didn't admit it and he still mourned the loss of the young french girl. When Acelyn began to speak again, his gaze returned to her, her eyes specifically. As she went on, his stare lowered, flattened until his eyes once again resembled dull, lavender slits. What he'd been hoping was not possible for the moment came to the light and slowly, the young Owl's paranoia nestled in gripping him tightly...
"You work for the UNS?" Roulin started, his voice wavering in a bewildered tone. Thanks to his father and more recent events in his life, he's reflex wasn't to trust a UNS member, but to treat them with animosity or else kill them where they stood. "A defensive person huh? Defending that...facist organization bent on killing off our kind? Goddamn it...were you sent here? Is that why you picked me up from the casino? To bring me here and attempt to murder me?" From the aura of the now angered Owl, the bottle of wine cracked in various area allowing the red wine to seep out onto the ice like blood. As the girl moved away, Roulin's incensed gaze darkened further and further. Before she could get too far, his left hand arose. The subtle call of his telekinetic abilities was enough to place her against the headboard again just as she was earlier. The sketchbook had now fallen between them.
The Italian's left hand raised and leveled and from his pocket came the porous, cylindrical piece of gold Timothy used to carry around with him. From it's tip shot the familiar lavender blade of light. The low humming that came from would let the young blonde know that ephemeral blade would burn furiously if it touched her. It was just inches away from her throat, but Roulin's steady hands for now could be trusted. Acelyn was subdued and the blade of lavender light was now ready to escort her out of this life. Looking over her with the same furious stare, the Owl of Grey spoke to the woman. "Had I known you were UNS, I probably would've dragged this sword across your neck at the casino. You're intelligent for telling me now and not then. Then again, Thomas trains all of his agents to be top of the line liars..."

"My powers don't work like that when I'm angry...so I can't tell if you're lying or not unfortunately," replied Roulin, his blade of light still a breath's length from the girl's neck. Her story for working for the UNS didn't check out with him, but he didn't know their procedures anyway nor did he care. For the young woman, the situation was direly unfortunate. The Italian's mind did have a shred of reason in it at this point and he simply wanted nothing else than to kill off another member of the team that has made his life a living hell...a struggle to both him and his loved ones. The indignant gaze that he returned telegraphed this to the scared young woman perfectly.
"Not doing anything to me was your fault. You should've drugged me or something...we wouldn't be in this position if you had already." With his telekinetic powers, he lifted the girl's chin and could still see her eyes peering back at him. If this were anyone else, that stare...that moment in an enemy's eyes when the realized that they were going to die by his hands would've made him smile. Try as he might though, he couldn't gather that satisfaction from Ace's tear-filled stare. It was moments like this where he couldn't tell if that fear was genuine or if it was just disappointment at a failed mission. Looking at her position, he knew she wasn't moving save for the metallic hand she used to turn the page. His lavender eyes shut in thought after he looked down at the picture and angrily, he growled out, "Give me your hand. I can tell if you lying with a power I have, but if you are, I'm going to kill you Acelyn. Slowly and painfully."

Che's eye twitched and his brow lowered in major thought when Amara revealed to him what the future might behold. The word that kept him from leaving the room right then was 'might'. To the elder, her words were dull and listless with the angst felt by all Owls over the world to some extent. Her plan, redolent of Raven's would only bring about another war that would threatened the planet if the right people were amassed. As Amara was a psion, Che knew she could do it with little to no effort possibly. He wasn't angered as his expression may have given, but rather he was disappointed. If this path did end up happening, he wouldn't participate as the road would've been traveled one too many times.
He left the scenario to itself and didn't question it even after Amara told him not to try to stop her. He wasn't going to. There was a reason she could see past the point where Roulin and Lucien come after her in tandem. After a hard and heavy sigh, Che fixed his sight on his little girl, the only person he considered a daughter of sorts and asked lowly in fear of the answer, "What future is behind door number two?"

Acelyn sighed at his anger, the metallic hand became a puddle on the floor that shown like a mirror. "I won't ever drug you... I never wanted to cause you harm." Her eyes looked into his, her hand was now in his. "I promise I am not lying. I have no reason to lie to you, Roulin." In her head she was extremely scared, even if she wasn't lying to him. Her heart was extremely calm and beating like normal, seeming to beat five times louder though.
She didn't know what she had gotten herself into. She only just started working for them, she hadn't hurt anyone. Her life felt as if it was all in his hands, as if she had no control over anything that was about to happen to her. The blonde closed her eyes, breathing out in a staggered pattern. The young woman had to try her hardest to not burst into tears right then and there, knowing that if she would have, the blade would have cut her neck without mercy.

"Be quiet...I'll know if you're lying or not in a moment." The Owl of Life took the girl's hand in his free hand and grasped it as calmly as the situation allowed him to. The palm of the blonde woman was sweating and trembling just as her voice was. Roulin didn't pay her reactions any mind though even if they screamed innocence at him. Clouded by irrationality, fury and confusion, his thoughts were still on her being guilty. If his eyes hadn't betrayed to the girl that maybe he wanted her to be at fault, then his concurrent actions did.
The young Owl mostly unused ability Psychometry, was the ability that held the woman's life in the balance. Roulin could count on one hand just how many times he's had to use it in the past. With the girl's hand in his now, he let the power go to work. Through touch and only through touch, he could learn of the girl's past and to an extent experience it next to her as events flashed by like a movie played at twenty times the speed. There was Aimee being taken away, the tests she mentioned, the drawings and sketches in her book and even her joining the UNS. It was only in that moment that Thomas appeared, but afterwards, he showed his face no more in her life. Each moment of her life up until this point flashed before his lavender eyes.
Releasing her hand and the telekinetic hold over her body, Roulin dispelled the amethyst blade and the humming died to silence along with it. The golden, hole filled cylinder fell onto the bed between them next to the sketchbook. The page was still on the drawing of him and Aimee. His eyes fell to the sheets beneath him and he sat beside Acelyn in silence. There was no apology for her at first, but only a sigh before he placed his back against the bed and his eyes to the ceiling. Never before had his anger nor his skepticism get the best of him. Not like this...

The blonde Owl watched the reactions of Roulin change, going from angry to no more than disappointment in himself. As soon as the hold on her was released, she let go of the bed sheets that she was gripping so tightly and wiped her eyes. Ace had thought she was a goner, that he was surely going to kill her not only because of her job, but just because she hadn't told him before. The young woman's breathing soon calmed and went back to the normal barely noticeable movement of her chest going up and down. Just as soon as that had occured she looked over at Roulin, her mind now clear enough to think about why he was so angry, why he had spared her in the first place.
"Roulin... I understand the anger you just showed. It's hard to find out that your ex's little sister is on the other side, not knowing what she is in for. I can see I have hurt you. You let me in and you probably felt betrayed once I told you my job." Her eyes were still kind, even after the attack he had just placed on her. "I am sorry for hurting you like that, Roulin." The naive girl put her hand on the man's shoulder, scooting down to where she could look him in the eyes.

((Serena))
“My pretty boy?” Serena repeated with a blank face “Hmm…Who knows, he may have been an interesting one to play with…He certainly had plenty of energy and a willingness to please…” She smirked and patted Will on the arm “Neither of them are my types, Kitten…” Well, the pretty boy most certainly wasn’t…Hito on the other hand was a whole different story, she had been down that route with him in her youth but that was in the past now and Serena didn’t wish to think about it. Her silver eyes widened as she watched the cartwheeling Sebastian and the man pouncing beast known as Myra. “Well, they are energetic” She muttered, not sure whether she should laugh or frown…in the end she ended up with a weird facial expression as both reactions morphed together.
Serena didn’t want to ask what Myra’s and Sebastian’s idea of ‘play time’ was, she knew enough about them to know that it often included mass destruction, broken bones and blood. Judging by the damage already visible, they had only just begun. Shaking her head, Serena continued walking on. She was looking forward to taking a dip in the warm water and so she had no intention of sticking around in the garden any longer than what she needed to. Besides, it was probably for the best that they left the parrot and kitty to play their mind boggling, crazy a** games…probably….
((NPC---Sebastian))
Sebastian was about to speak but never got the chance to, as he was pounced upon by Myra and sent back down to his old nemeses, the ground. He sighed lightly when Myra soon realised who’s presence they were currently in and jumped up declaring that Seb never knew how to dress appropriately. The dark haired butler stood back up and dusted himself off. He bowed lowly with a smirk “We shall keep it clean” He straightened up and with a small smirk, a wave of his wrist, and some help from a switch blade, he sliced one of the sleeves on Myra’s jacket off. “As you can see, both of us have seemed to forgotten how to dress appropriately” With a smile of a saint (Lol…yeah right -.-;;; ) Sebastian bowed once more before walking back towards the houses new entrance/exit.

Roulin unrolled the sleeves of his black sweater and unbuttoned two more of the buttons on his collar. His long hair was spread out around him and they resembled dark roots on the bed. Against the chipping fractals of the ceiling he stared knowing that what he'd done just now was foolish. It was protective of his own being, but still, it was foolish to judge the girl so quickly. As she spoke, he kept his eyes forward, upward to the sky not wanting to see her just yet. When she finished, the distraught young man replied in a tone calmer and lighter than the one he'd started the night with. "But...why the UNS though Ace? My ex's little sister or not, your an Owl. As the Lif---I want to see you safe okay? That place isn't safe at all. And you've never spoken to Thomas besides to get this job?"
Finally, Roulin turned to the girl by his side and placed his hands over his stomach again. Apologetically, he peered into her eyes and his expression, saddened and disappointed, only accentuated the feel. His natural power was active again, so her emotions came through to him. She was just as sorry as he was. "You're not hurting me Ace. You're hurting yourself. Thomas will hurt you too if you don't leave. Why...why them? You could've become an artist or a...smelter or welder. Something constructive. Not destructive..."
