I'm back from summer camp! You all have outdone yourselves this week: over 60 pages! I'll be catching up with Pacis Salus and the subbies today and tomorrow. Get ready for a long "uber catch-up post" from Yoder! This time it'll be organized by page for your convenience.
Returning Member Welcomes CloseToCrazy (aka: FallenAngel) Sui! *uber-gluggles* Mistress_LenaDisasterDoll
Page #2768 Christopher Paolini's work is great for his age. The movie, as many have said before, was atrocious. I bet you're glad the plot looped itself in the Defiance, right Magni? All 5 of the games are very well-made.
Page #2770 Good job on the roleplay directory, Kiki! *gluggles* I never recycle whole characters. I tend to borrow personality and appearance traita from past characters and combine them in new ways.
Page #2771 My appearance section always ends up like a list when I draft it. I always have to go back and make things flow without as rigid of a structure. What's worse: People who use an image reference and follow it with something like "only with blue eyes and red hair."
Page #2774 I'm not very good at actually learning language, but I am fascinated by etymology and linguistics.
Page #2780 Magni ...so why are you beating this dead horse like Nintendo making yet another mario game? I find the analogy intensely hilarious.
Page #2785 @Gale: I once played an Initial D arcade racing game. Rhe game wasn't all the great, but the art and music were awesome. @Kiki: We were never completely against the idea of an index before. The main problem was that somebody would have to do all the work. Seeing as you joyously fulfill this psoition, we have a living roleplay directory. So long as I don't actively watch one being administered to myself, shots don't bother me. If you think shots of the modern day are medieval and barbaric, take a lok at ancient medical equipment and procedures.
Page #2793 Yay, Final Destination! *uber-gluggles* Yes, Magni, our past duel was most enjoyable.
Page #2798 @Trowa: Maybe the lunar scythe would work. It is gray after all.
Page #2803 I like October through March. All other months have the potential to be too hot.
Page #2808 I don't mind, Cobalt. I know how you're saying "GOD." @Trowa: I think the '#xxxxxx complex pants' would look good. If that doesn't work, you could always check this list.
Page #2810 Those are some good ideas, Gale. We must discuss!
Page #2818 No, stop talking about avatar. I don't want the ending ruined. *covers eyes*
Well, I had a fun and tiring time at camp. The huge downside is that a nasty disease swept up over 200 people in the week I was there. The island was actually quarantined while stateofficials tested food and water supplies. Everything was fine, and the sickness left most in 24 hours after the symptoms first began. Lucky me managed to get sick though. So, I'm incredibly drained right now.
Now for some current commentary: The new collectables are really good. I love the savage hair (especially the spiked skull), and the holy gauntlet screams for a demonic counterpart next month/year. The kitsune knock-off evolution of the Inari's beads is amazing. The numerous E3 announcements have me incredibly giddy. My post in Pacis Salus will come either ate tonight or mid-day tomorrow.
