((Will))
Jingle bells. Jingle bells. Jingle bell rock....and a merry Christmas and a.... Will was not in his home in Japan because Serena was redecorating the place with all these Christmas lights and all the other stuff. The albino had dressed Freya like an elf, Cerbs as a Rudolph, and tried and failed to make Will put on a Santa suit.
The Satan Owl was in fact perched on one of the higher restricted levels of the Tokyo Sky Tree. He could hear the broadcasts and simply tap into them. Hmph...ah, that bum's son.. expected. Rash but expected. Well, that meant he had to keep watch just in case Roulin got himself close to killed because that would warrant a teleport to drag Rou away and give Tim a middle finger in the process. It was better than Serena going "William~ put on this red suit~...there's no white beard :3 <3"

The decision was made and the options were weighed against one another. Roulin doubted that Timothy would let Rage destroy the continent before he got what he wanted from Che. Victoria was nowhere to be found and so that only meant that until they located her or something, they'd have to stop the two Heralds from moving on any further. The Life Owl figured he could try at least as he was just one step over the Heralds in position anyway. Where his attained Life Owl abilities would fail, his others would easily back him. He hoped...
"Hmph." Timothy scoffed at the sight of the inexperienced Owl. Still, with toys bigger than most Owls and humans, he was still just a child to him...unborn even due to their age difference. It was obvious the youngest of his enemy's children had the mind of a fetus. If he were smart, he would've stayed in Las Vegas under the safety net provided by Will. These things were what Timothy thought. Grossly, both the men were underestimating each other while at the same time thinking too highly of themselves. The Herald of Lightning though still bore proof that Roulin could best him alone. His arm was still missing and the young Owl before him was still intact.
Lowering his arms to his side, Timothy began to ignore the dwindling number of fighter jets that seemed to litter the area like gnats. He figured since another Owl was here, one recognized by many, that they'd just leave it to him. "Alot is riding on you Presidiomni." Timothy reminded the boy with a chuckle following. He looked over to Rage whom he could tell wanted to just engulf the continent then and there. She knew the operation though, even if now it was altered to include this little man. "You see, there's a helicopter behind you watching what you're doing. The world is watching you. What if you fail against us? What if you di--"
"--I know I'm being watched, but I'm not going to die here. I'm going to cut your head open, take your power and then I'm going kill your friend there twice as slowly as I killed you! Now shut up and fight!" And just like that, Roulin made it obvious that he gave no thought to what Timothy had said nor the choppers behind him giving their news feed. The only thing he cared about was killing these two and then Raven if he still had the energy. Making the first move, swiped the lavender blade horizontally sending a large, sharp crescent of energy at the two Heralds. Following that was a giant spire of rock shooting from the ground beneath Timothy. Before it reached him, it formed a hand with which Roulin used to grab at the white haired elder.

Acelyn jumped out of the car with her bag, running inside the airport to see the next television screen. Her heart dropped as she saw Roulin fighting, hoping he would be fine. "Come on, Rou. You can do it. I know you can." She clasped her hands together as her eyes were glued to the screen, anticipating every move. The young woman was pulled away from the screen when her flight was called, making her look one last time before rushing off onto the plane. The Alkaline Owl sat in her seat, looking at the sky and drawing pictures in the condensation on the window. The man sitting next to her saw her distracted eyes, tapping her shoulder. Ace looked at him before nodding a little, looking back to her picture. "Please be alright." She looked down into her hands, two tickets to Italy in a month and France after that were sitting in an envelope she had just picked up. Her plan was to surprise, Rou, and maybe take him to have a relaxing time there, thanking him for helping her through her past and letting her live in the present.

"Oh no, Timmy! The little Life Owl is mad at us. Whatever shall we do?!" Rage said aloud in a mocking tone when she heard what Roulin had to say to the two Herald's. She had figured he was on his way since his shadow had suddenly disappeared from Las Vegas under the Satan Owl's watch not too long ago. She hadn't needed to even be worried about Roulin really. This dome of shadows and darkness was her element and she had the reins here, so she could pretty much do as she pleased for the time being. At least everything short of actually laying waste to the entire continent of Africa, at Timothy's orders.
Rage laughed aloud at Roulin's threat to her life. "So arrogant of you, Baby Presidiomini! I love it!" Rage said aloud. She was able to avoid the slash of purple light from Roulin's attack with ease by simply ducking underneath it. "Don't bother trying to kill me here, Roulin." Rage replied softly in a sultry tone, a smirk gracing her features. This sort of smirk would never appear had Sydney been the one in control of the body.
Rage knew Timothy could escape on his own, so she had no intention of actually helping him in his fight. She wanted to fight Roulin at this point, maybe also finishing her destruction of Africa too. The only problem was, she couldn't decide which to do first. Both ideas sounded fun to her. As such, Rage decided to do both things at the same time. For one, it didn't take much of her energy or focus to continue with her onslaught of darkness over Africa. So much of her focus was put into taking on Roulin. Rage made a wave of her shadows come alive from the top of the dome and rush at Roulin from all sides, up, down, and all around to try to engulf him in a sphere of shadows and then proceed to physically crush him. Though, she was ready to accommodate for a reaction from her new prey.
===
Like most everyone else, Kate knew about what was happening in Africa. While Moli and Che were watching it in the common area of the room, while Kate was catching the news from millions of spirits of Africans being killed senselessly and from other spirits that were watching what was going on witTimothy and Sydney. "So they have decided to advance upon the world again?" she asked herself under her breath. It was an overload of spirits for Eternity, and this sort of mass of death had not happened for ages. The Eternity Owl let out a sigh as she sat down in a chair on the balcony of the room.
Perhaps she should go back to Russia... Even though she would not admit to it, Kate was homesick. But the main reason she felt she should return to her homeland was because of what was going on with the Forbidden Door and the fact that it shortened her lifespan. If she went into battle now or inthe near future on this Christmas mission that Che had planned, that would just cut the time she had left in half. She didn't want to worry Che any more than he already was as well. Besides, she felt that if she had to die, she might as well die in her home country if it came to that.

The door opened, standing in it was Lucien. He wore a black tank top and blue jeans. He looked at Amara for a few seconds in silence before he spoke. "You're a bit late." He walked into the room, leaving the door open for her to follow. "Oh well I can't blame you, I've left you waiting more times then I am proud to admit." He took a seat on the bed looking slightly over at the wall which Amara and Jeannie had tumbled out of not to long ago, of course repairs had been made, it was as if that event had never occurred. He ran his fingers through his black hair, letting out a small exhale. "So where should we start? The supposed adultery, the fight or Jeannie's death?" You know when you put it all like that it sounded much more horrible than Lucien had previously thought, to a normal person this was their worst nightmare come true, for them it was just another day.
Luca's arms wrapped around Bailey from behind, his chin rested gently on her shoulder as he wrapped his arms reassuringly around her waist. He turned his head a little kissing her on the cheek softly. "It's not like you to pay attention to the little things like that." He said referring to the minor blisters. He smiled as he felt her ebony hair pressing against the side of his face. "Your hair is so soft." He let his real arm reach up, running his fingers through her hair a few times. "You know I keep wondering something, despite the fact that we've been engaged for a while now, and that we've been staying together for a while you always seem a little nervous around me when we're alone. What's the matter?" His real fingers drifted through her hair one last time before they slid around her waist once more. "I know you've always been a shy person, but why when you're just with me. When it's just the two of us there is no one to impress, no one whose standards must be lived up to just relax." He smiled again waiting for her response.

When Lucien answered the door, she stared at him with almost emotionless eyes, but of course that was a front...she missed him, she honestly did, but that night still played over in her mind, like a horrible prank caught on tape, and it was constantly playing and rewinding itself. Stepping forward and shutting the door, the psion walked towards a chair and sat down. When he asked her where she wanted to start, she remained silent. She sometimes questioned how she loved someone so...socially...retarded. True he was a genius, but he sure didn't know how to construct an apology...or build up to it.
"I don't know Lucien. I thought that if I gave myself some time from you that I would know exactly what to say and what I wanted to hear, but to be honest, I can't tell you where I want to start. Maybe from the beginning and by beginning I mean when we first met but that would be crazy..." she said laughing out of nervousness. "I guess start with the adultery...though I don't know if it's considered adultery, seeing how we're not even married" she said. What was she saying? Amara was sounding like a bumbling idiot for the first time in her life, maybe because she was nervous as to what the outcome of this whole conversation would take their relationship. Sighing, she awaited to hear what the death owl had to say.

Bailey felt Luca's presence behind her as he wrapped both his real arm and his metallic arm around her waist. The warmth of him was radiated and her cheeks were painted a light rose pink when his lips touched the right side. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to lean against him. The feeling of his real hand caressing her ebony curls caused her to sigh with contentment. Yet, his questions of concern forced her aquamarine eyes open. She shifted herself slightly to the right so that she could look him in the eye. As she pondered on how to answer him, she played silently with the engagement ring on her left hand, rotating it. How could she tell him that she sometimes got nervous when she was with him, that she felt like they should be bringing their relationship to the next level?
"Um...well...it's not you. You've done nothing to make me seem so shy around you. It's just..." Bailey sighed. Why couldn't she have been good at something like this? She stopped playing nervously with her ring and allowed her hands to rest upon her lap, her arms lightly brushing his, which were still wrapped around her waist. "I feel like...our relationship should be...taken...to the next level." She sighed and hung her head. Why couldn't she just come out and say it? Then again, Bailey had never been a very straightforward person.
She tended to beat around the bush and that sometimes made getting her point across rather difficult. "I-I've been wanting...this for awhile, but...I guess I'm afraid of my inexperience in physical intimacy." The Diclonious Owl fell silent and bit her lip as she cast her eyes downwards towards her lap. It was clear that the aquamarine eyed Owl wasn't bold at all and speaking of something as intimate and personal as this had the poor girl trembling. She silently awaited Luca's response, quietly hoping that he would understand what she was trying to say.

Rage's tone...the arrogance and cocksure attitude that pour from her words only made the Life Owl grin and tighten his hold on the hilt of his glowing blade. Timothy didn't seem to care as much and was probably ignoring the young man's threats. Between Rage and him, Roulin was sure Timothy was getting to him more and like the parasite beneath his skin that he was, he needed to be killed. The queen of shadows evaded his attack simply be dropping beneath it. "Goddamn it you b***h..." From that he could see that if he wanted to kill her, it would have to be sudden, silent and unseen. Maybe of he could teleport closer, he could slit her throat using the heated blade in his left hand. Before any real plans could be made specially for the possessed Herald, Roulin found himself encased in a darkened sphere, the shadows of which were like liquid when he attempted to stab and slash his way out of it.
"Idiot child...you should know better." Timothy, unlike Rage, didn't move to evade the crescent blade of lavender that was sent his way. He simply powered up further and destroyed part of as it neared him. He threw his foot forward and the sole of his bare foot broke away the attack into shards of light. The flash made the white haired man cover his eyes, but only for a moment. He he found that Roulin was captured in a ball of darkness, his eyes widened as the opportunity to kill the trapped boy was before him yet again. The last time, he was saved by a miracle, but there was nothing to help him escape now. Looking over to Rage, Timothy nodded and for the first time in months, smiled. Although this smile was more devious than any he'd given to Sabrina, it was still a sign of joy. With Roulin stuck, he prepared to do away with him...
~~~
Che's lips expression was far too scrunched to be described as giving off a single emotion. It was obvious though that he was incredibly angry at his son running off to fight two people that Che would run from even if they were separate. His son had no hope of killing either of them and if he were to, that would just be a miracle on his behalf. After Cecilia had her outburst, Che had his internally. Silently, he cursed and some escaped him in the form of mutters before he walked over and stood between Moli and Cecilia at the television. His son had faith and the cobalt girl on the other side of him was fearful, but faithful as well. The elder Presidiomni simply sat down, legs crossed and attempted to do the same.
When Roulin was covered in the shell of darkness, he groaned at how easily he was taken in. Timothy began to charge his attack and this made Che grin. "Idiot. Roulin is going to be worse off if he doesn't attack....has he forgotten already?" The Mastering Owl had no clue if Roulin had planned this moment or if he'd just fallen into it by lucky mistake. Either way, it was clever on his behalf. Still, leaving was rather idiotic. "Guys, let's make a bet. Ten dollars says he doesn't get fried. Anyone? Hm?"
~~~
"Goodbye, Presidiomni." Timothy murmured silently to himself as the skies over the sphere darkened and crackled maliciously above it. With his metallic arm, he guided a massive bolt of lightning down onto the ball in hopes of eradicating the worthless Life Owl then and there.
The thunder was enough to deafen human ears as it exploded behind the lightning that illuminated the sky for miles and miles. It engulfed the sphere of darkness and tore it to shreds on contact, but the beam of light blue current never touched the ground. Instead, it was drawn towards a single point. Timothy couldn't see this as the point towards which the lightning was drawn was too bright to stare at. Roulin, who was at the center of it all, had his eyes closed. Each vision he could call upon was blinded by the light. Without realizing it himself, he was alive.
After a few seconds on anticipation, the whipping sound of the lightning's crackle vanished as did the roar of the thunder that accompanied it. What was left was a shining blue point that soon faded into the golden hilt that Roulin held ever so firmly. He was alive and well, but his blade had changed hue entirely. It had gone from a light purple color to a light blue. It's new tinge perfectly matched the color of Timothy's lightning now. The hilt had absorbed his lightning and now Roulin was using his magnetic ability to contain it. "Whoa....these artifacts do stop certain powers from hurting you. That means that you can't hurt me Timothy, but I can hurt you. Alot." But why waste his time on him now if the Herald couldn't effectively fight him? There was still Rage who could attack him. Photokinesis wasn't her weakness, so that dampened his mood only a little. Looking over to her, he smiled and even licked his lips at the thought of cutting her head open and poking her brain until he got her power...or just holding her by her throat until he absorbed her ability that way. Either way, his stare at her now only telegraphed that he'd be killing her slowly and painfully if he got the chance.
"Hey Rage!" Roulin called to the woman his eyes were now set on. "Come up here and fight me. You know you want to...."

Rage's smirk widened as the shadows told her that Roulin was indeed trapped within the sphere and cutting away uselessly to try to escape its hold. "I love it when they resist..." she murmured, a single chuckle escaping her lips. Then, Timothy finally made his move to destroy the young Life Owl once and for all. It was about time too, in Rage's opinion. However, as the lightning strike ripped up the shadow sphere, Rage's smirk dissipated rapidly when she did not hear a scream of agony for Roulin. Because of the body's eyesight, Rage instantly began to rely on the shadows to tell her what just happened.
Roulin was indeed alive and his sword had absorbed Tim's lightning. A scowl formed on the Herald's face as curses flew through her throughts for a brief instant. But the fact that Roulin was still alive meant there was more fun to be had in playing with him before killing him. As such, the scowl twisted into a wide smirk at Roulin's taunting. "Oh so the baby wishes to tango with the big kids now, hmm?" Rage retorted in that same mocking and sultry tone. "You should be careful what you wish for, Little One, it could just come true!" at the last half of that phrase a gigantic hand formed of shadow shot up from the dome beneath Roulin to try to grab both his legs around the ankles and fling the young Owl down towards the rocky ground of the continent below.

Despite her weariness, Sakura could still take this group out effortlessly. they were infants compared to her power, and would learn their error, starting with the man that had recognized her.
She stumbled slightly to make her attach when it froze suddenly around her. she panicked and stumbled back a bit before catching sight of the man struggling as several spires of ice pierced his body.
"i-i" a voice behind her made her look back to see a young man seeming to struggle with the scene lay out before him, her attackers now turned on him and killed them off once more with the same pure face of shock and fear. He was tortured inside she could tell, wrecked with some traumatic incident that seemed to leave him helpless and out of control.
A mess, she despised messes, they followed her wherever she went, but this boy controlled an element so beautiful she was struck between disgust and awe, how could an element so delicate, fragile, beautiful and clean be stuck with a creature so disgusting... the features of her face betrayed mostly the emotions for the element, perhaps if she took in the boy she could clean him up, show him proper respect for his unique element...

Seeing that Timothy was no more of an issue that this point, Roulin knew that he could focus on Rage until the stature challenged Herald could think of another way of attacking. He knew not to underestimate the man so he assumed in mere minutes, he'd be on the receiving end of some clever ploy. Peering down at Rage who was just as spunky as ever, the Owl of Life grinned and slowly lowered towards her. To avert the attack that had placed a rather dark void in his usually transcendental vision, he diverted the ground formed arm that was for Timothy to her tactile shadow. It caught it and gripped it, but like oil, it slipped through forcing Roulin to drop forward faster to avoid it. It arose behind him and he rotated, slashing it wildly across the wrist before returning his sight to the possessed Herald. "A baby hm? That's no way to talk to your superior Sydney."
The blade's tip was pointed down at the elder woman spoke to him with spite and referred to him as 'the baby'. Roulin's mind was far too deep in the thought of killing both him and her to care about the remarks which he'd remained silent through. In his lavender eyes though was the rage he chose not to voice. Quickly, he shot down to her position as if to tackle her out of the sky and into the dome of black beneath them. The tip of the light blue blade was driving at the woman's torso now to impale her. Surely she could've evaded with ease thanks to her power or her experience with the situation, but thanks to a stray missile launched by an incoming fighter jet, the young Owl's plan was halted instantly.
When the projectile struck, a sound akin to a large rock hitting a large, dense glass resounded. There wasn't a cracking noise following as there should have been. There was a plume of smoke covering what was Roulin's position though and it hit what may have been left of him within. When the F-22 made it's travel towards what it expected to be empty space filled with the remnants of the young Italian, it exploded loudly and brightly giving off that same sound once again. The fuel igniting and the jet's material crumpling against the apparently invisible material after it's crash echoed along with that bellowing sound. There was no residual material thrown from the plume, so it was obvious that both the missile and the jet were blocked by a rather powerful shield. From the still billowing and burning plume came a low humming sound that soon crackled just as Timothy's lightning had. In only seconds, a flash of lightning half the size of the Lightning Herald's shot from it widespread in Rage's direction.
"Rage....damn it...." Timothy made his move to deflect the flow of lightning from his fellow Herald using his own power which he knew better than Roulin. A web of current simply wiped away what may have struck his partner in destruction. The pallid haired man knew Roulin was there hiding in some kind of shield. He knew he could see the both of them there as clear as day. Timothy's light blue eyes focused on Rage now and wasting no time, he yelled down to her, "Keep him busy for as long as you can!" If electricity wouldn't hurt the little boy, then another element would. He could try something else, but he needed even more effort from his teammate as he gathered himself and his secondary element. Metal. He knew Rage could handle it. She was like him after all. A god well versed in her ability. As long as she remained moving, the dark eyed Herald could keep the Life Owl on his toes.

"Married or not it's what it appeared to be." He said softly. Lucien looked towards Amara sighing a little as he tried to come into contact with the more emotional side of his personality, what little was there. "Amara...I know how it looked back then. But it wasn't what it looked like, from your perspective or mine. Jeannie had attempted to come onto me, but I refused her I told her that she was a beautiful woman, but she wasn't someone I could ever love. Then she used her emphatic abilities to disguise herself as you. Shortly after you interrupted her abilities and then things spiraled down from there." He shifted his weight a little bit before continuing. "I won't say that what I did was right, or that the incident was nothing, but Amara regardless of what it seemed like I would never cheat on you. You and Aiden are the best things in my life right now." He smiled a bit, then asked. "So which part should we go over next?"

Listening to The Death Owl, she could tell he was telling the truth...it still didn't make her feel better...about being hurt. She thought that he would at least "know" her...but she had to look at the situation through his eyes. He wasn't psychic...he couldn't tell when he was being tricked...well even psychics can be tricked, but she felt that since they loved each other...they shared a unique bond. "I believe you Lucien. I guess I just felt more hurt than anything..." she started. "...but I do realize that you need as much support as possible with this upcoming battle...as well" she said.
"We don't have to talk about what happened afterwords though...I'd rather forget" she said referring to locking Jeannie away mentally and destroying her body in its entirety. She inched closer to Lucien and looked into his eyes. She wanted to cherish the time that she and him had together, they had never had a formal date or time a lone, but she didn't mind...they had the rest of their lives for that, right? "So what are your plans?!? About making the whole world hate you? Maybe...I could help" she said offering. "We can discuss this more over dinner if you'd like...we've never actually been out with each other before" she said really trying to put effort into their relationship.
The t.v. was on in the background as her eyes looked into the direction and looked off before her brain could process what it just saw. Turning her attention, she grabbed Lucien's hand. "Look it's Roulin!!! Why in the hell is he taking on two heralds at the same time?!?! What in the hell...Lucien...he'll die!!!!" she said to her boyfriend. She awaited a response from him to know what to do...should they join and help, after all, all three of them had been friends since they were children...if nobody else was going to step in, at least Death and a former possessed herald host could aid him.

Lucien looked up at Amara, hearing that the thoughts of insecurity were gone between them, seeing that they didn't need to worry about the constant strain on their relationship for now Lucien smirked a little. "If we're going out to dinner then my plans for world domination will be the last thing on my mind. For now, don't worry about that." He blinked once, turning his head slightly as he saw the television the source of Amara's shock. He raised an eyebrow at the commotion caught on film. He stood up, folding his arms across his chest as he watched Roulin fight. "No Amara. We're not going to help him." He said in a serious yet calm tone. He smiled a little as he stared at his rival. "This fight isn't ours to fight. He is Roulin, The Life Owl the next generation and one of the strongest Owls in the world. Here and now he will prove himself worthy of his title. Will, Noel, Che, Dante, even Thomas, and all the others before them overcame trials to prove that they deserved their titles. Roulin stands now at the forefront of his proving ground. Whether he will sink or swim is up to him now." He smiled a little as he walked casually to his closet pulling out a jacket to wear over his tank top. "Don't worry Amara. I know I sound cold, even evil for these words. But it's Roulin we're talking about. Believe me I've tried killing him enough times to know that Timothy and Sydney are going to have their work cut out for them."
Luca had a smile spread across his face as his fiancee finally spoke her mind. "You're so cute when you're shy." He said as he leaned back with her still in his arms, laying them both on the bed. Luca looked at her before he shifted his weight so he was looking down at her using his arm for support on the bed. "Intimacy? Is that what it's getting called these days?" He asked rhetorically with a sly grin. "Well if you're afraid of any lack of experience it's good that you'll have an excellent teacher." He said as he slid his hand up running it gently across her cheek. He cupped the back of her head gently and lifted her up slightly kissing her as he supported their weight. If it was intimacy that she wanted then Luca would be happy to oblige.

Bailey felt her head gently touch the pillow, her velvety ebony curls fanned out around her in a sweet smell of peaches and vanilla, her preferred scent of shampoo. The shy young innocent Owl's arms hesitated before they found their way around Luca. She lightly ran her fingernails up and down his shirt covered spine, her lips gently caressing his. Because of her affinity for reading, she had read many romance novels. Yet, even though the authors had described such intimacy in great detail, experiencing it first hand was much different than reading it on the pages of a book.
The Vector Owl's cheeks were stained a light rose color. She was sure Luca would be able to feel her heart thumping against her chest, perhaps he could hear it as well. Calm down, Bailey, she gently coaxed herself mentally. You're not with some stranger. You're with your fiancee. There's nothing to be afraid of. Ever so slowly, she felt her body relax underneath his and her fingers clutched his shirt as she began slightly more bold in her kiss. She could feel his the contours of his muscles beneath his shirt. Oh, he was so warm, the pure masculine scent of him was overwhelming. She had been longing for this for a very long time. Now the time had come.
