"Yeah....He more than likely told him to keep you safe from the harm of others....Didn't say HE couldn't do it..."

"My father wanted me to live. He'd dishonor him by killing me."

"Well, you WERE in a place no one is allowed..."

Alex gave a grunt, looking away.
"The one time I really proved myself capable of living, and I can't even tell him."
