((Enter the Genya...))
Now, it wasn't really Japanese tradition to celebrate Christmas religiously because less than 0.5% of the population were actually Christmas. But Christmas was a holiday to be celebrated commercially, sort of like a hallmark holiday. The Japanese are quite accepting of other holidays (as many of us are too because we like celebrating stuff). Christmas Cake is relatively common as well as KFC Christmas Chicken (Yes you read that right. KFC is more popular in Asia). Christmas has even been considered a time for romance, a stage for couples to be together.
Alas, Christmas Day had passed, and it was the day after. But obviously, the Genya Owl had not been spending his Christmas Day romanticizing about anything. He had been experimenting and so engrossed that he fell asleep on the lab bench....again! When he woke up though, he got right back to work. Forgetting something back home, the Alchemist Owl had made the trek back home and noticed a card on his table. "Oooh...Demioso." The card stated that Demios was happy that Genya was safe at home. "Eto...I should send Demiii a card back!" He noticed the whistle and put it on the chain next to the original whistle. Despite all the random mishaps Genya had, the original whistle was still quite in good condition. So, Genya began to write out a letter. He almost forgot to write it in English and had to get new paper. Gen's message asked how Demios was doing and wished him happy holidays. "Eto..." Genya wasn't sure how to get the message to Demi, so he blew on the original raven whistle hoping it would work.
Shortly after, Ben entered the room and kicked his younger brother to eat since Gen hadn't eaten for a while. Ben had a companion with him (dun dun dun...maybe Naoki) and was going to drag Gen out to eat something.
((Will))
Will expected the swatting. It was a Serena feature and generally a feature of females who either didn't want the touch, wanted to play hard to get, or something similar to that. "Oh?" was the only response Will gave Serena as she ranted that she didn't expect him, that her wrist just happened to look fine at the moment because Will hadn't been less careful, and then retorted that she was using the papers. "What for?" He smirked as she grabbed for the papers again and began to look as if she was reading them in a frenzy when she was hardly taking in the words because she was in his presence.
"No need to justify why you can't socialize with them..." he chided. He could care less if she got to know them or not while they were temporarily staying at his home. They were, after all, still just toys and pawns to him. Her face was getting red again. "Ah, you're blushing about such a needless thing." He was of course playing. He knew the true reason why she was blushing. The Satan Owl plucked the papers out of Serena's hands. "You have the weapons in the room memorized. You don't need this." And the papers went bye bye as it began a wisp of ashes. "Craving something? I'll stay for a little bit." He smirked.

Demios was surprised when Vincent offered him a place to sit next to him. He nodded, as odd as it was Demios was still a bit of an introvert when he wasn't in the middle of battle or a mission. He partially saw that as a weakness, but he'd never admit to it. He sat his stuff down and took the seat next to Vincent "...I'm sure they don't mean to exclude you...this whole thing has been hard for all of us, and its hard for us to let others into let others into what is going on" He said. When Vincent asked how he felt he looked down "I'm not sure, its a bit scary...not just the fight, but everything" He said. He managed to look at Vincent again "I mean many of us have been doing this nearly our whole lives" He said. He realized he was voicing how he felt to a near stranger "Sorry, I shouldn't burden you with my fears, but I can feel something big is coming" He said.
Meanwhile when Genya blew the whistle the letter turned dark before a raven appeared on it and the letter slowly dissolved from his hands and a black mass appeared over Demios forming into a raven letting out a crowing sound and then turned into the letter before it fell into his lap. "Huh, look its a letter from Genya looks like he got my gift" he said with a warm smile. Demios was glad to hear from Genya, and fortunately he could feel Genya's energy level from the raven whistle that Genya was wearing. He wondered if that meant Genya could feel Demios's since he was wearing it. He quickly began writing Genya back letting him know that he wasn't sure how things were going to turn out and he hoped that he'd get the chance to see Genya again soon. Although the letter sounded dismal he meant for it to let Genya know he was glad to have had the chance to be close to him. He then held the letter up and it transported back to Genya the way the letter came to Demios. He then looked at Vincent and gave a weak smile "Sometimes I love magic" He said with a light laugh.

"It's okay...nothing really burdens me" the teen admitted. "Sometimes you just need to voice what's going on...Miss Amara taught me that" he said with a smile. When the letter appeared he looked at the entrance and how it fell to Chris, he was kind of amazed. "So is magic your exact mutation...or does it give you the affinity to be able to utilize magic?" Vincent asked. "I'm just saying maybe you have an Owl mutation...but you are somehow able to manipulate magic...you know kinda like in the comics something happens to a gifted person where they're able to not only utilize their genetic mutation but magic as well...that's kind of cool" he told the mystic owl.
When Demios said he loved magic, Vincent sat up and smiled. "I've always been interested but all I can do is make things stop...that and explode...and crystalize...that's it...woopie!!!" he said in a sarcastic tone. "But I will have to admit that it has saved my life a few times as well" he stated getting the bracelet that Demios had given to him and putting it on his wrist...right to the bracelet of Nol. "You see this...belonged to the Earth Herald...I took it from her when I was a kid" he said with a smile. "I was so proud of myself...I felt I was the coolest kid ever" he said in a nostalgic state of mind. The psychic was angry now...to learn that her life was no more but to be what she hated to do...to be a weapon...was that her destiny? To always be a pun in someone's game? "Well...would you two be so kind and leave please? I think I've heard enough and I really don't want anything to do with you" Amara said in a choked voice. Aeon was in total disbelief in what was just revealed to not only her but to her sister as well. Most people would probably only worry about how a situation affected them but Aeon was more concerned about her sister more than anything. The projector looked into her father's eyes...always being closer to him...she looked at him as if asking was all of this true...with shame he looked down. "I think I have to agree with Amara on this one...Merry Christmas...but we don't want to see you two again" she admitted.
"Girls I don't want you to think that we dont love you because we do. The way that you were brought into this world doesn't determine our love for you. It is true that your mother could have had more tact in telling you this...but we were hoping that you two would work with us...and not against us" he said to Aeon and looked at Amara. "Besides...you see what kind of world this. You wouldn't want little Aiden to have to grow up feeling inferior because he's an Owl would you?" he asked his daughter.
"But who's to say he'll be an Owl? How do we know he won't be human? And if he was, would you kill your own grandson?" she asked with anger in her voice.
"I'm sorry you feel this way...but we came out here to retrieve what we want...and that's you two...you will help us" she said as she began to use her mental powers to try and persuade Amara and Aeon to go with them.
Amara could feel her mother inside of her head...she was strong...Amara could feel it. She automatically began to put up mental shields in both her and her sister's mind. "Listen...I don't care how entitled you may feel...but you need to get out of my head" Amara said as she sent a psi blast into her mother's mind, enough to rip a mental layer from her psyche.
As if she was unfazed, she looked at her daughter with a smile. "That may work with normal people but I am over twice your age and very well experienced" she said to Amara as she sent several consecutive blast into her daughter's mind watching Amara fall to the floor immediately. "Now like I said we will be going" she said to her daughters. As she walked closer she saw she couldn't walk any further...Aeon had erected a barrier. "So I see you have some understanding of your power..." Evelynn had said to Aeon. She then began to focus more as she attacked Amara's mind as she screamed out in pain.
Amara could feel the pain...it was unbearable and she had underestimated her mother's power. "...w...wait..." she said to Evelynn. "If you let my baby...and Aeon stay...I'll go..." she said surrendering. She knew she couldn't fight Evelynn off just yet...and she wanted to spare Aiden and Aeon...."Please...I need someone to watch my baby...Exire is not the place for a young baby to be, especially with the fighting that's going on right now" she pleaded with her mother.
Evelynn looked at Amara. Pathetic. Nodding because she understood the situation, she stopped her mental barrage. "Aeon let down the barrier" she said. Aeon looked at Amara who nodded. As Amara stood up to walk near her parents, her body fell limp and she was now unconscious. "Sebastian...take Amara...we need to leave for Exhire now" she said. "Take good care of Aiden...when you're older you'll understand why we are doing this dear" she said to both Aeon and the unconscious Amara. As Sebastian picked her up, he looked at Aeon with eyes that said he was sorry and turned around. Looking back at Aeon Evelynn looked at her oldest daughter. "Again...the tea was lovely" she said as they left the lounge and through the front door, closing it behind them. A limo was waiting on them as Evelynn, Sebastian and now Amara were carried off into the distance.

Demios was surprised by the kindness that showed itself from Vincent, he wasn't sure how he managed to seem so calm about all of this. Demios let out a small laugh "You're either good hearted or a complete fool, but then again this group could use a kind heart" he said. He then herd the comment about what Amara taught him and he smiled "Well that doesn't surprise me Amara is pretty smart, and has been through a lot" He said. He looked at Vincent "Don't forget I grew up with Amara" he said a bit more warmly. When Vincent began talking about Demios mutation Demios was caught off guard by how well Vincent could understand his powers. "Well to be honest growing up I never really thought about what it was, but after a while I began to travel and learned I could use different forms of magic...so to be honest I'm not sure how it works, perhaps I may never know" he said.
When Vincent began talking about his powers Demios shook his head "Never take your powers for granted every power has its downside, but they also have a greatness no other power has...and in a way I've thought all our powers have a bit of magic to them, and like any magical art it takes practice and study to learn what their limits are, and how they are special" he said. He held his hand out and closed his eyes before closing his hand then opening it forming a butterfly that then flew over to Vincent and landed on his shoulder. "That was one of the first things I learned to do, my friend Armand worked with me to learn how to make it" He said. Then Vincent showed Demios his bracelet that he snagged from the earth herald as a child. "Now that is quite a feat, most people can not even hope to get close to a herald but to be able to steal from one...well you must be quite the owl, I can see a lot of potential in you" he said with a warm smile.

"Cool...I figure that I want to be a geneticist when I get older" he told Demios. "Things of this nature interest me and I would love to see where evolution will take us in the next thousand or so years" he told him. When the butterfly landed on his shoulder Demios laughed a little. "That's cute...for a kid" he said trying to imply that he wasn't a small child but none the less he was impressed that Demios could create life basically. When he mentioned the herald he smirked a little. "Yea I think if I would have been a little older...I wouldn't have..." he said to him.
When he said that he saw a lot of potential in him, he smiled. "Thanks a lot man...that means a lot" he told the magic user in front of him. "So since you've said you've learned all kinds of magic what kind have you learned? Perhaps you can teach me some things, I'm very interested" he said as he then looked out of the window, focusing on the ground below...the plane hitting turbulence but created a rhythmic beat that Vincent almost began to enjoy.

Demios looked at Vincent and nodded "A geneticist huh, well thats quite the dream, but then again its good to have dreams they are what give you hope and direction in dark times" he said. He laughed lightly "I don't think I ever had a dream for the future, or at least if I did I forgot about it a long time ago...I hope you can one day achieve it and become a great geneticist, I think you can do it" he said. He had to admit Vincent seemed optimistic and that gave Demios a bit of hope for the bleak world they grew up in. When he herd Vincent mention that the butterfly was cute for a kid Demios smirked "You shouldn't be so quick to be against childishness, growing up isn't all that its cracked up to be and being able to hang on to your childishness and joy is a gift many people don't have...I learned the importance of it from an old friend of mine, he showed me that the world often lacks a heart and joy, but those who can hang onto their can light up the world around them" he said as he took the butterfly off Vincent's shoulder. "Don't be so quick to grow up and enjoy your life while you can...you never know when it will be turned upside down and be taken away from you" He said a bit solemnly.
When Vincent thanked him for the comment on his potential Demios laughed lightly. "Don't misinterpret though, fools can have a world of potential and never use it, while the great people in life utilize whatever potential they have, you still have a ways to go before you can become the great person you have the potential to be...then again we all do" He said. It took a moment before Demios responded to Vincent wanting to learn about his magic. "Well its a bit hard to teach, I mean there is magical energy all around you...you just have to learn how to feel it, bond with it, and then draw from it" he said. He thought for a moment "here lets start with something simpler" he said as he took Vincents hand and gently placed it on the butterfly he formed. "Its easier to practice with living creatures" he said. He left Vincent's hand on it knowing it would be easiest to try from a magically created creature. "Close your eyes and try to feel an energy different from the ones you are used to...let your mind calm itself and let yourself sink into the mana around you...and once you can begin to do that you can slowly learn to feel the magic around you" He said. He knew it sounded very strange and a bit crazy but sometimes the best things in life were crazy.

Vincent had to admit this was kind of weird, he didn't know what Demios was really saying...but he couldn't know it until he tried. Placing his hand over the small creature, the stopping owl, closed his eyes. He could feel the flutter of the wings tickling the palm of his hand. He began to try and feel the energy that Demios had mentioned...mana? was that it...Vincent focused but had to keep his mind focused on not freezing everyone on the plane or the plane itself. "I hope I'm doing this right" Vincent replied back. He knew that magic wasn't something that someone may learn over night...and to be honest he didn't expect to for things to go real well the first time but none the less...he tried.
Vincent then canceled out all of the noise around him, focusing on nothing but the butterfly and the energy around him. After several minutes he began to feel a pattern...like a streaming river that was creating rifts, the sensation came over Vincent. Perhaps it was working? Or was it just his imagination running wild once again?

((Serena))
“I know that…” Serena muttered in reply when Will said that she didn’t need to justify herself with an answer. “I wasn’t...I was merely pointing out a few things.” The Vanishing Owl shuffled the papers in a messy manner but almost dropped them when the Satan Owl pointed out that she she was blushing. “It’s because it is hot in here, that is all!” She was about to protest further but stopped short as the papers in her hands were taken from her and burnt. Will O Wisp had destroyed what she had been working on! “I may have them memorized…but I was working on documenting them for future references…and now my three days of work is gone….” Her eye twitched a few times; clearly she had failed to document her work on a computer. Silly bunny emotion_yatta
Serena let out a soft slow breath of air in a way to keep herself calm. She rubbed her eyes and looked up at Will “Craving?” Blinking, the albino woman had to think for a few moments as to whether she was craving something or not. Her thoughts were brushed to the side when Will mentioned that he will be staying for a bit. She smiled and patted Will a few times on the arm “How long is a ‘little bit’?” While she had brushed her thought about cravings to one side of her mind it was still able to come to fruition. As much as she was trying to pay attention to the man before her, she couldn’t quite ignore her stomach….and then an image popped into her head. A rather strange combo and one that had Serena saying out loud in amusement “Orange juice and carrot sticks…eh?”
((NPC---Sebastian))
Now, it was never in Sebastian’s interest to bother himself with other people’s problems when it was not asked of him. But the fact that he was supposedly watching over those within the mansions walls meant that he simply couldn’t overlook what had just taken place completely. “Aeon” He spoke while bowing “If there is a problem with what has just happened….” A smirk appeared on his features but was hidden from Aeon due to Seb still bowing “I will be happy to assist in any way I can” He straightened up to his normal tall self and looked at the young female with steady black eyes “After all, I won’t be satisfied if I am not tending to the guests needs in the way that I should be.” The dark haired male chuckled lightly and picked up the empty tea cups “Just tell me what it is you require and I will see it done…”

The magical owl was glad to see Vincent was actually trying, not many people cared to try this, most were to against the idea of magic to even have the potential to try and comprehend it. Demios also began to do as he instructed Vincent. "Don't worry about doing it right, its rare for magic to have an exact method" he said quietly trying not to break Vincent's focus. Demios smirked as Vincent began to try and once he began to feel it the butterfly began to give a feeling of glowing to Vincent releasing a low pulse of strange energy. "You can feel it can't you" Demios whispered "You can feel it ebbing and flowing." Then the butterfly began to vanish creating smaller and faster pulses before it vanished and the mana was returned to the area around them. "Well, what did you think?" Demios asked. He smiled at Vincent "It takes some getting used to and even requires you to think of things a bit differently, but trust me its worth it" He said.

Thomas exited the store holding his hat which threatened to be taken away by the chilling winds that blew oh so relentlessly. His eyes narrowed to shield them from the onslaught of snow and air, but still, he found his dark eyes watering with each step. With his power, he calmed the wind, but not the pressure. The wind simply persisted and would until Thomas knew how to control that aspect of his element. Guarding the wind from the young blonde behind him he said to her as he walked forward, "Yer welcome kid. Think nothin' of it, y'hear? Now do ya wanna visit somewhere else? If not, we're going back to the station."
The elder Owl listened to the girl speak of never having a father. It cause the Herald's eyes to roll in their frozen sockets, but he kept his words to himself. He too grew up without a father, so that was something he had in common with her. Still, her saying that only made him think and nearly predict what she said next. "I care for ya somewhat because ya work fer me. Anythin' beyond that is just casual stuff. I don't mind buyin' things fer ya, but keep in mind not everyday is Christmas." The man's tone was stern to get his point across, but just light enough to let the young girl know that'd he'd be there until he tired of her or she did crap jobs. She managed to make him smirk and even laugh when she asked how'd he got into the UNS though. The easiest way to answer would be to say, "through bad circumstances" but he chose to humor her with the truth.
"How'd I get into the UNS you ask? Well, it was a very, very hostile take over if you must know," said the Herald laughing more now. "Long story short, me and some little s**t killed it's leader, that leader bein' Che. After a while, this kid decide he wanted to be the world's most hated man. I made it easier for him to become that and now he's wanted by America and the Soviet Union. Poor kid right? I just rose up afterwards and here I am." Thomas removed his hat only for a second to smooth his long, loose, split-end filled hair. Looking around the grey area, he continued, "So no, there was nothin fancy 'bout it. I did what I had to do and here I am. Shoppin for clothes with a new employee."
~~~
"You worry about not dying," replied Roulin in a tone reflecting just how deep in thought he was lost. By no means was it him snapping at the girl for making light of a situation that had been weighing upon him for the past month or two. To any outsider listening it, that was just how it sounded. After his words fell back into him, he sighed as his tone replayed in his mind and apologetically, he turned his eyes to the azure Owl that sat next to him. "Sorry about that. Pretty hard to be softhearted right now...thanks for trying though." Once again, the young man slipped into the emotional veil that was the silence he wished to revel in right now.
Now that his eyes were against the dull lavender stare that he saw in the descending airplane's window, Roulin crossed his arms and sat back in the chair exhaling a burdened breath. Che, the leader of the operation as usual had his task cut out for him this time, but the Life Owl trusted in him unlike how he did in the Rome mission. If not because they obviously had the stronger team, it was because of the amount of days Che spent going over the ins and outs of his own strategy. The amount of time everyone had spent going over their powers with themselves and with others. Even Cecilia had gotten stronger and Roulin could feel it just sitting next to her. With the team amassed on the plane, if they couldn't win, then Raven and her team were simply unbeatable.
Acelyn seemed to go quiet after the Christmas bit, seeming to be lost in thought. "I don't care for that man you talk about. The one that helped you over the U.N.S. Personal vendetta I guess..." Her eyes went to the ground as she walked, thinking about her sister being mutilated by that man. The girl couldn't help but be angry, especially since he killed the only family that ever cared about her. Now all she had was a friend on the other side of the war and a boss who was trying to teach her the ropes as fast as possible. "I am glad you came a long, Thomas. I don't think I could do this a lone. Especially on a day like this. Thank you though. For the present." She raised up her present a little to acknowledge it's presence, then signed as she let it go. The blonde looked away from Thomas and back to the ground as her mind began to wonder more, her eyes looking as if she was trying to search for the truth.
Then her head began to hurt, looking up just in time to see a plane pass in a crack of the gray clouds. The vibrations of the huge metal object seemed to make her wince in pain, vibrating the very iron blood she had in her body. "Looks like they have arrived. It would be best to go back now." The girl looked towards her boss, nodding a little as she looked back up at the sky one last time. "The fun is over for now."
Vincent was amazed by what he was feeling. Demios was a pretty good teacher and he hoped that maybe he could continue to learn from this. "That was pretty cool Demios" he said with a smile. "I do have to admit though that I didn't think that I would be able to do it at all...I was just hoping that I could" he said to him in all honestly. The stopping owl looked at his hand and back at Demios. "Thanks for teaching me a little something hopefully we can have more lessons" he said with a smile. He then began to feel the plane descend as he looked out the window...the time was drawing near....Vincent was excited but somehow had a slight anxiety. Whatever it was...he was ready. Aeon looked at the butler only half listening to what he had said. She couldn't believe what had just happened. The projector would never see her parents in the same way. Redirecting her attention to Sebastian she smiled faintly. "Thank you Sebastian...but I don't think going after them would be wise...not saying I'm underestimating your abilities...but I would hate to see you as a former shell of yourself. I'm sure that Amara and her friends will be able to get her out of the bind she is now" she said. Looking at the infant in her arms she looked back at Sebastian. "If you don't mind...would you mind putting Aiden to bed for me? I think I'll just sit here and think about all the horrible stuff that just occurred" she told him. Handing Sebastian the infant she took a seat and exhaled, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
Anya was seated next to Nik on the flight from Las Vegas to Washington D.C. She was relieved that they were finally going to go confront the Fallen Pheonix. She knew and understood Che's reasoning behind waiting, but she thought maybe he had waited too long. Either way, they were headed to their destination now, and that was all that matter at the moment.
For some reason, the voices in her head had been strangely less talkative than usual. It had caught her attention, but it wasn't enough to distract her from the goings on around her. It was just enough to have it cross her mind frequently. However, she hadn't mentioned this fact to anyone else, even Nik, because she didn't quite consider it a matter of importance... At least not yet anyway. Maybe the earth was excited about the coming confrontation or it was worried, or resting, or something else. Maybe the voices too had a lot on their minds.
The other thing that appeared to be invading her thoughts recently had been the man who called himself her father. She hadn't seen him in a while, so maybe he was dead. However, if he was a higher officer in the UNS, Anya didn't think that he would go down that easily. He was probably very very strong as a fighter, and well trained as well. She wondered if she would run into him again in D.C. She figured she would given that the UNS was there and Thomas was there too. But the biggest question on her mind about her father was the fact that he wanted to kill her. Why? Why did he want her dead? He had been very vague about it when she had met him a while back. Though she was assuming it had something to do with what happened to Berlin. Maybe her poison powers, but Anya didn't know. And she wouldn't know unless she asked the man directly. Perhaps she would get her chance in the near future with this fight coming up.
Her thoughts were interrupted when Vincent began going around, handing out Christmas presents. Anya had almost forgot about the holiday what with everything else going on and the training they had been doing. She took the offered Bonsai tree that Vincent handed her, blinking in mild surprise at receiving a gift from someone she had rarely interacted with in the past. "Um... Thanks..." was all she could think of to say before turning to study the potted plant. Since she was focused on the tree now, a small tiny voice was singing which she soon picked out as the voice of the Bonsai tree in her hands.
===
It had taken a lot of thinking for Kate to decide to go with the others to D.C. She had had a strong inner debate about whether it would be better for her to go back to Russia for this final confrontation with the Fallen Pheonix. She had wanted to mention the idea to Che, but decided not to because he had all these other things on his mind. Including the part about the Forbidden Door being connected to her lifespan. That, on top of all the planning and worrying over the trip to New Exire had been running the Mastering Owl ragged these last few weeks. For now, Kate sat by herself next to a window on the plane. Her head was leaned against the wall as her blue eyes stared listlessly out into the expanse of sky just beyond the shell of the plane. Just like Che, Kate had a lot on her mind, so when Vincent went around handing out gifts, the Eternity Owl hardly noticed as the young man placed a gift on the seat next to her.
===
Erin spent most of the plane trip sketching out some stuff into a small sketchbook she had purchased while in Las Vegas. It was something to keep her mind from wandering and eventually worrying about what was ahead of them in D.C. Also, it was a nice break from the intensive training and instruction she had been giving Roulin as of late with telepathy. He had significantly improved in that area since they had started. He had the basics down fairly well. She had taught him one or two more advanced things, but she wasn't sure he had a good grasp of them yet.
Vincent's approach with a large bag distracted Erin from her drawings. She looked up at the younger Owl, blinking in mild surprise and curiosity. She was pleasantly surprised when she was handed a few canvases. She set her sketchbook aside for the time being to examine them and quietly thank Vincent with a smile before he walked on to deliver other gifts to everyone else. "Thank you, Vincent."
"Mhmmm.......if you say so," the blonde Owl nodded oh-so-convincingly at Serena bunny's attempt at justifying his actions even more. "Three days, hmm? You have a good memory... " Because Serena was a silly bunny. Computers (Trix) were for kids...NOT.
Will patted Serena again. He wasn't going to reach 666 times on this day. He waited patiently as Serena thought about the craving question and then answered like a true bunny. "A little bit is a little bit." He was being vague about his answer as usual, but it truly wouldn't be long. He would be gone again once the plane descended onto Virginia ground. The Satan Owl smirked. "Orange juice and carrot sticks...craving orange colors, hmm? Careful. Eat too much, and you'll turn orange." And with a simple guide of his arm on Serena's shoulder, they reappeared outside of the secret room in the hallway in time to hear Sebastian proclaim that he see something done. Will paid it no mind. It didn't involve Thomas, and it didn't involve Timothy directly. He was rather certain of their locations.
((Serena))
“A good memory but I am not a bloody robot….” The Vanishing Owl pulled a face when Will failed to give her a straight answer and continued to act his usual vague way. Well, in that case she was going to assume that his visit was going to be over in a matter of minutes. Perhaps she should have asked him what time the plane had taken off and where it was right now. At least she could work it out and get a better answer than ‘A little bit is a little bit.’ She rolled her eyes when Will commented on her fancying orange coloured foods. Come to think about it, her love for oranges and carrot’s had increased. “Hmph. I bet you find it funny that I want carrots out of all things.” Ah, the bunny had finally realised that she should eat her carrots much to her dismay and annoyance.
While Will may have heard some parts of the conversation going on inside the lounge, Serena hadn’t. She wasn’t blessed with ‘Super awesome hearing’. The albino bunny merely continued to lead the way to where the carrot sticks and juice were waiting. The wonderful kitchen of wonders was like a beacon of light, glowing warmly and beckoning Serena closer. With twinkling eyes, the Vanishing Owl pulled open the fridge and quickly located the things she wanted. The freshly cut up carrot, the cold sweet orange juice….and right beside that was a succulent bloody slice of “Ugh…steak…”
Serena covered her mouth with the back of her hand in a lame way to put a halt to the gagging sensation that now rippled up the back of her throat. The sight of the bloody meat, for some reason, was really off-putting and the more she stared the more her stomach twisted into uncomfortable knots. In the end she could bring herself to grab the juice but managed to escape the fridge of doom with the carrot stick princesses. Slamming the door shut, Serena leaned on the kitchen side to give herself a moment to gather herself together and bid farewell to the queasiness that was slowly dying down. “Want…want a carrot stick?” She said while holding up the plate in offering.
((NPC---Sebastian))
“A former shell of who I currently am?” If Sebastian had been told this under different circumstances he would have laughed, ((Ihihi ihihi!)) and laughed hard. It was very rare…no wait, scratch that, it had never happened before, having someone say such things to him that is. “I am sure that Amara will be perfectly fine. It is as you say, her friends will be able to help her~” The dark haired male bowed lowly when asked if he could put Aiden to bed “Of course, Aeon. Do take your time.” He picked up the baby and turned on his heel and departed from the room without another word.
“Oh dear, it seems your mother has gotten herself in a slight pickle” Sebastian muttered to the dozing baby in his arms “Families going against each other. What a sad little existence you have become a part of….Humans really are pitiful beings.” Aiden was already snoozing soundly without a care in the world in the butlers arms. The dark haired male chuckled lightly as he placed the baby into his crib. “Sleep well, little Aiden~” The lights were swiftly killed leaving the room in complete darkness, save for the small glow that peeked from behind the thick velvet curtains.
