Has anyone else noticed that when you click on GStore in the navigation bar, one of the avatars in the collectables banner is Sinelo? O_o

xD You know, someone has a thread about that here..

God...what's the hell is going on with the mods lately? X_x Did they hear about the clone thing and decided to trample on our fun?

These kinds of things are NOT new. They have NOT started happening in the past few weeks/months and the mods are NOT targeting the guild.

These types of bannings have taken place since 100 years ago. Haven't you all heard of the now infamous Plexi Lexi/Sea Squall bannings? Perfect examples of what is happening now. Innocent people get in trouble for things hackers or scammers do. Is it our fault? No it's not. Should we get punished for it? No, we shouldn't. But at the same time, it's the internet. I could go around saying I was hacked to get people to donate to me, even when the truth could be that IVE been hacking/scamming people. The mods have no way of confronting the real people behind the characters, so for safety reasons, they freeze everything that has to do with it. Then they patch things up as they can.

I do admit that not warning Kevin/Peasant was a foul on their part, but at least that was just a temp ban. Manda/Ah My Goddess!'s perma-ban deals with a more serious hacking incident, so for damage control, they have to freeze everything related to it. Wouldn't -you- want to keep control of your own site to prevent further damage?

Are the mods power-hungry? Maybe. Are they Corrupt? No. Things are done in a pre-set system that only the mods themselves know. So before you get to the mud-slinging on calling the mods by names, keep in mind that there's usually a reason for every action. A boxer doesn't just punch someone for no particular reason, nor does a thief mug someone for no reason. Just the same, Moderators don't usually take an action without a motive or reason behind it.
