Gregory ignored the pie, keeping attention to Derrick, while he held the flowers. He smiled, giggling softly, a plan brewing for a surprise in the near future.

Derrick was rather shocked to see Greg raise flowers into his view. "Why, Greg...Thank you." He bashfully reached for them and took a quick whiff. "They're wonderful....But, how did you..."

Gregory's ears flicked, "I felt them enter my hand and they were there... I guess it was just random." He giggled, his blush deepened. "Do you like them?" He smiled.

"I love them..." Derrick flashed a smile and took in the scent more deeply this time. He blushed and looked up at Greg from behind the flowers.

Gregory purred in comfort and relief. He reclined a bit keeping his gaze to Derricks, smiling contently.

The rest of the avenger came in with their instriments in had. the slipped to the stage. xavior the guitarest and seth the singer exchanged looks.
"This one is for Gregory and Derrick!" seth pronounced. they started playing "My Way Home Is Through You" by My Chemical Romance

Gregory blushed. He was a fan of "My Chemical Romance" from the start. He was almost embarrassed that now there was music playing for him and his hopefully significant other. "Yay," he said joyfully nervous. "I love this song."

Derrick almost felt embarassed that a song was being played in his and Greg's names, but no matter how he tried to stop it, his tail swayed happily with the beat. When he heard Greg say that he loved the song, his perked up a little more. "Wait...You like My Chemical Romance too?"

Late_Ichigo Derrick almost felt embarassed that a song was being played in his and Greg's names, but no matter how he tried to stop it, his tail swayed happily with the beat. When he heard Greg say that he loved the song, his perked up a little more. "Wait...You like My Chemical Romance too?" "Yep, I bought a few of their CDs and I love 'em. They gave me something to relate to and they still do. I highly anticipate their next album." he smiled. "We share tastes..." he thought to himself. His ears twitched, tail swaying. "Do you have a favorite song or album?" he asked smiling.

Derrick drifted his gaze to the ceiling ad thought for a little while. Finally, he centered his attention back to Greg and nodded to reassure himself as he said, "I'm gonna have to say Dead...But, it was tied with Cancer for awhile." He smiled, feeling a scence of excitment from realizing that they seemed to have the same tastes in music.

"Mine is 'This is not a fashion statement, it's a deathwish." he said, smiling. "The first song I heard of their's was 'I'm not okay.' and my old favorite was 'Helena'" He giggled, resting his hand on the table.

"All great songs..." Derrick thought as he put his hand back to the table. Or at least waht would have been the table, if Greg's hand wasn't already placed there. Derrick's hand met the top of his hand and instead of pulling away, he just acted normal and blushed.

Derrick looked in Greg's direction and met gazes with him once more. He nearly turned away, but he couldn't for he found himself drawn towards Greg. He was captured in those beautiful eyes.

Gregory's eyes dimmed as he leaned forward, hoping for a yes response, he asked, "Kiss me?" He awaited what seemed like forever as he was caught in the moment.
