What could ruin Resident Evil?

Yeah, well, I don't consider them real gamers.
Who cares if I'm not on some bogus leaderboards on some crappy online first person shooter?
It's about recognizing the art of what video games are... Or in most cases, were.
Frankly, I think Final Fantasy was much better without voice overs. I mean, there was so much left to the imagination. You have a script and the characters' appearances and that's it. You could read it the way you want. Imagine they sound like whatever you want.
Name them whatever you want. That was half the appeal to me. Now they hire some voice actors who make the characters sound so cliche'. Every tough guy sounds the same, every pretty boy sounds the same. And now, Resident Evil is falling into that "Fantasy" genre, so THOSE characters have stereotypical voice overs too.
Ah well. Unfortunately, this happens to every medium eventually. Once it starts being about money... Integrity flies out the window.
