Elizabeth blush at the arm around her waist, but she thought of it as a protective gesture. The men nodded to his words before they stood and hurried off before they were punished anymore. Elizabeth held her sore hand to her chest, her none harmed hand covering it. She might have even broken a knuckle or two. (Bye)

Theo watched the two make their escape before turning his attention to his fiancee. His eyes no longer blazed with fury, nor were they red. They had returned to blue and yellow. "They didn't hurt you, did they?" If they did, may God have mercy on their souls.

Elizabeth looked up at Theo before she looked at her hand. "No, my hand just hurts from punching them." she said rubbing the bruising hand gently. She hopped that she had not broken her knuckles, that wouldn't be very good.

Theo's gaze slid down to her hand. He released her waist and gently took her hand in both of his. He felt her knuckles and curled her fingers a few times. "They're not broken," he told her. He would know. He'd had enough broken bones to last someone a lifetime.

Elizabeth winced at the touch and movement but she was thankful that they weren't broken. She trusted Theo into telling her so. "Well that is a relief." she said with a huff. Her eyes drifted to the rink for a moment and then shook her head and looked back at Theo. She wanted to go onto the ice, but she didn't want to injure her hand worse.

Theo smiled at her and released her hand. He followed her gaze to the ice, spotting more than one blood smear or tooth. He felt an odd jolt of satisfaction at the scene. "Come on, we should get going," he said. The sun would be rising soon and he couldn't get caught in it otherwise he was dead meat... literally.

Elizabeth looked at a cloak and noticed the time. "Yea we should." she said. She didn't want him getting burnt up or anything right before being crowned king. She took her hand to her chest once more and she began to head toward the exit. She could still fell the men's disgusting hands on her body. When they got back she was going to take a shower and scrub her body until her body felt raw.

Theo stuck close to her as the made their way to the exit. He could hear people moving and could see them out of the corner of his sight, his teammates wanting to thank him for coming back, the coach wanting to beg him to stay on the team, but they didn't dare approach after what had just happened.

Elizabeth shoved the doors open and began to walk toward the sports car. Once she got to the car she began to pull at the door handle with her unhurting hand. It didn't open. She kept pulling. "Open." she growled at the car, thinking it would unlock itself. She wanted to hurry and get out of there and get to the house.

Theo followed her out to the car and watched with amusement as she tried to open it. "You might find that it opens more easily when it's unlocked," he said as he unlocked his own door, climbed into and unlocked hers. He closed his door and buckled up.

Elizabeth snorted and finally opened the door after it was unlocked. She got in and closed the door. She leaned her head onto the back of the seat for a moment, not buckling. She finally, without moving grabbed at the seatbelt and buckled herself in.

Once she was buckled in, Theo started the car and drove them out of the parking lot. There was practically no traffic on the road, maybe one of two cars the whole drive home. He stared ahead at the road, lost in his own thoughts. He could still feel a little left over rage from those two guys. He wasn't aware of it, but he had a death grip on the steering wheel and his knuckles were turning white, not that his normal skin color was very far off but still.

Elizabeth glanced over at Theo and noticed his grip on the stirring wheel. She looked from his hands to his face, seeing hints of anger in his eyes still. She sighed to herself and lifted her hand up to her face. She could barely see her hand in the darkened car, but with the little light she had she could see the hints off green and yellow on her hand, bruises. She didn't even think she punched them that hard. She lowered her hand to her lap and placed her unharmed hand over it. She kept her eyes locked onto her hands, waiting for the car to stop at the house.

Theo didn't notice his grip until they were nearly back. He forced himself to relax as he turned the wheel, driving around the back and parking in the garage. He turned off the car but didn't get out, just sitting there in the dark, even though it didn't look that dark to him. He didn't say anything right away but did speak after a minute. "I'm sorry I couldn't stop them from... from.... Well, you know." His voice was so quiet, barely above a whisper.

Elizabeth looked over at him. She shook her head at his words. "It has nothing to do with you. It wasn't your fault that they were stupid, uncaring touchy men." her last words filled with venom but then she spoke again, but with no anger. "Lets get inside. I don't want to stay in the car for the day." she said with dry humor in her words. She unbuckled herself and opened the door but she didn't get out.
