"Of course Sensei." Tetsuo stared as he sat down and stretched a bit.

"Area attacks. It's one of the best reasons to learn jutsu that cover wide areas in a single attack. If you can hurt the person creating and controlling the genjutsu, then you can escape. The only jutsu that are immune to being broken by this are those few that force you into your own mind. I know one of those, but then, I can use them easier than others because I am a Yamanaka, a mind specialist." He shrugged slightly.

'Hmmm, Then that means.' Tetsuo began thinking, most would say the only things he loved more than drawing was thinking. "Sensei, Should we go see the Kusakage?"

Ronnel grinned slightly, the corner of his visible eye crinkling.
"I suppose we should. It would be wise to find out if you have potential teammates after all. Come, he's at the Springs." He laid a gloved hand on Tetsuo's shoulder, then raised his other hand.
"Kaze Sunshin." Freezing winds wrapped around the duo, leaving a slight cover of frost on the ground.

Fenrir walked into the training grounds and unrolled some of his training scrolls. "This seems like a suitable place." He read through the instructions for the last stage of his Large Sword style, and summoned the giant sword "Gram" to help him finally master his first weapon style.

[1/4] Fenrir's ears detected a large waterfall nearby, so he walked to it and stood underneath its crashing current. By now, wielding the heavy sword was child's play. He could swing it just as quick and smoothly as a normal katana. He placed double doses of the electric overdose technique on his body in order to make the training go by faster.

[2/4] After adjusting to the heavy weight Fenrir started practings rapid slashes through the waterfall's powerful current. One time he slammed the blade against the fall wall and it sent a large crack up through the middle of it, causing even more water to come crashing down on his body. Fenrir took slow, deep breaths as he swung the gigantic blade around his body. It had become a part of him now, the very reflection of his power and soul.

[3/4] He continued to slash through the waterfall until it didn't phase him at all. The water drops glistened against his exposed body and jolts of static electricity danced around him. Just wielding the sword was starting to imbue with dangerous electric abilities.

[4/4] Fenrir swung the blade around his body again before he decided to test out the final powers the sword style had to offer. He thrusted his sword triumphantly into the sky, and stream of lightning exploded from its tip to dance around in the clouds above. They then quickly grew very dark, and as Fenrir hopped down from the waterfall, nine extremely powerful bolts of lightning crashed down around him, tearing the land asunder. Fenrir grinned and rested the large sword on top of his shoulders, now a true master of the Cloud weapon style.

[1/4] Fenrir moved on to the weapon styles he still had to master from Rain. He concentrated on pouring his chakra into his blade, and wielded it with excellent control. He also noticed that the adjustments Yun had made to his blade a made it swifter, allowing him to strike so fast they almost couldn't even be seen.

[2/4] After a warm up Fenrir moved on to master the techniques this new stage in style brought. First was the Last Minute Rain. Fenrir practiced it as he dropped his sword, but then at the last moment kicked the hilt of it up into an invisible enemy. With his wind chakra, Fenrir could bring even more speed and damage to the technique.

[3/4] Fenrir moved on to the next technique, the Early Summer Rain. He quickly made a diagonal slash, but then stopped midway and swapped the sword to his other hand. From there he applied a swift burst of wind around his blade and slashed, making the offset of the blow leave an opening in the enemy from which he could strike.

[4/4] The last move was called the Pelting Rain. Fenrir charged at an invisible enemy. Then he applied wind chakra throughout his arm and blade, allowing him to slash the enemy in three places at once. He could see it becoming a potentially devastating blow against anybody who took a direct hit from it. Fenrir then sheathed his sword and took a deep breath of complete relaxation and harmony. The fifth stage had been completed.

[1/9] Fenrir prepared himself for the final stage of the Shigure Souen. Once he completed it, he would have fully mastered the sword style. He quickly read through and studied the scroll he was given.

[2/9] Fenrir quickly grasped its concept. The last stage dealt with chakra preservation, and would allow him to use the natural elements around him to power his attacks instead of costing him chakra. For starters, he used his own sword to gather wind energy from the air around him.

[3/9] Next up on the plate was lightning. Fenrir had already mastered firing lightning bolts from the Cloud sword style, and so used that to power his attacks. However, with much practice Fenrir limited the amount of chakra required to perform this to its absolute minimum.

[4/9] Fenrir didn't know the fire element, so he used some lightning to catch a tree on fire to use as an example for practice. Channeling his chakra through his sword, Fenrir was able to gather the flames nearby, channeling them through the air until they covered his blade in fire. With that, Fenrir easily extinguished them and moved on to the next element.

[5/9] Earth was easy enough. Fenrir just stuck his sword in the ground to gather rocks either on or rotate around it. This would probably give his sword more force behind it.

[6/9] The last element was water. Fenrir walked onto the small river near the waterfall, walking across its surface to stop himself from falling in. From there it was a simple matter to gather the water around his blade. Yun had specifically made it with his water chakra, after all.

[7/9] Finally it was time to start mastering the final techniques of the Shigure Souen. The first was called the Duplicate Rain, and Fenrir quickly mastered it by sending summoning up a large tidal wave in front of him. It would look like the wave was meant to defend him from his opponent, but in reality he was using it as a mirror to trick the opponent from sensing him aproaching from behind.

[8/9] The next technique was the Clash of the Swallow. Fenrir whipped a surge of water around his body, creating large tidal waves all around, while at the same time charged his body with wind energy. From there he charged at an invisible opponent, creating a devastating clash in the process.

[9/9] The last technique was merely an extension of the last, the Swallows Beak. As before, he whipped up the water around him and charged himself with wind energy. Only this time, when he finally charged in for the clash, he unleashed a flury of blinding stabs with his sword. The move could very easily kill an unready opponent. With the sword style finally mastered, Fenrir sheathed his sword.

[1/9] Fenrir took a break away from the weapon styles for a minute to finally learn a technique he'd been searching for for a long time, Chidori. He started off by concentrating his lightning jutsu into his right hand. It glowed fiercely with electricity, causing it to jolt static across his fingertips. However, this was nothing like what chidori was meant to look like.

[2/9] He sighed and tried again. This time he practiced the handseals. The jutsu was very powerful, but if he couldn't start it in time then it would be useless to him. After several minutes he got them memorized to the point where he could blitz through the handseals.

[3/9] With his timing down to absolute perfection, Fenrir went back to trying to create the chidori. Again, however, he couldn't get it right. Fenrir gritted his teeth. This jutsu was already starting to piss him off. Then again, mastering his own bone fanged lance was just as hard, but it was worth it in the end. This reasured Fenrir in a way.

[4/9] Fenrir tried creating the chidori again, and like the times before, it didn't work. He growled and finally did something he hadn't done in a very long time. He meditated.

[5/9] Slowly, Fenrir channeled his chakra into his right hand. He focused on the nature of his lightning energy, and felt it flow through him like a powerful wave. He took deep breaths as a loud chirping sound started to emit from his palm.

[6/9] Fenrir glanced down at the loud chidori that sounded in his hand, but as he did it slowly faded away. It was progress, but still couldn't be used. Fenrir meditated again and built up the energy into his palm.

[7/9] After that Fenrir concentrated on permanently keeping the chidori in his hand active. Once it was there, Fenrir stopped meditating and stood up, the awesome power of the chidori bursting in his hand. Now the only thing he needed was to pull the trigger.

[8/9] He took a deep breath and suddenly used the chidori to surge forward at an immense speed. Now he knew why so many of its users had to have a sharingan. If somebody using it did not have some sort of enhanced eye, then they wouldn't be able to counter any attacks coming for them as the speed practically blinded the user.

[9/9] Fenrir crashed the chidori straight through several trees and into a boulder. He grinned and pulled his arm through the rock's core, and suddenly it crumbled into pieces. Fenrir stared at his own claws in amazement for a moment. This power did indeed surpass any jutsu he had thus far mastered. What would happen if he combined it with something else?

[1/9] Fenrir immediately went on to start practicing the extension of the chidori, the chidori nagashi. His first try was a predictable failure. Extending chidori from just your hand to your entire body was certainly not going to be done so easily.

[2/9] Fenrir tried again. This time, he tried breaking down the current into small inclements. He would start out small, and then gradually build the current of chidori over his body. The first step was accomplished when he extended chidori from just his hand, to over his elbow.

[3/9] Then he gradually pushed it further along his body. In no time, he had successfully pushed it over his shoulder, making his entire right arm glow with the power of chidori as a loud chirping sound buzzed around him. The next step was going to be a bit more brutal though, as he would try to push it over hid head and chest. If he screwed it up, it was possible that his own electricity could fry his heart or brain.

[4/9] Fortunately though, Fenrir kept complete control over the current. The training of the shigure shouen had probably helped him in this area. Fenrir then tried to push the current to cover his other limbs, slowly making his body pulse with power.

[5/9] Finally, Fenrir pushed the current down his other arm and legs. He had perfectly performed the chidori nagashi over his entire body. That was not the end of his trials though, and just being able to put chidori over his body wouldn't serve him to its fullest potential. Fenrir unsheathed his katana and tried to push the current into it.

[6/9] This didn't work the first time. Like before, Fenrir would have to gradually build the current for his first time in order to get used to its flow. Slowly he pushed the current up passed the hilt of the katana.

[7/9] Keeping his focus undistracted and absolute, Fenrir moved the current farther up the blade of the sword. In this instance he was thankful for the katana he was using. Because of its water affinity used to power up lightning attacks, the current was probably adapting to other shapes faster than one would under normal circumstances.

[8/9] Finally Fenrir pushed the current to point where it covered the entire blade. With a quick slash Fenrir cut down a tree as if it were made out of butter. The current had almost been completely perfected. All that remained was the final test.

[9/9] Fenrir took a deep breath and instantly surged the current through his body and along his sword. Then he branched the current off of him to strike anything in the area around him. The ground itself tore apart as continuous beams of lightning ripped through it, their destruction mixed in with the chirping sound of the chidori.

Fenrir meditated again to restore his energy. Then his ears twitched and his eyes snapped open. "It looks like she's starting to move." Fenrir made a shadow clone and sent it to the springs.

[1/7] Fenrir appeared at the training grounds and rolled out the final scrolls of the Rain village sword style. He quickly drew his sword and started channeling his chakra through it to begin his learning. After making several shadow clones, who also drew their sword, Fenrir started training his sword skill.

[2/7] As he exchanged blows with his clone counterparts, Fenrir began to notice his speed and skill increasing. He was already a very formidable swordsman, but it seemed like there was always room for improvement. His strikes slowly became swifter and more deadly as he sliced through the neck of his first clone.

[3/7] Fenrir and his clones exchanged many more blows, and slowly new openings started opening up to him. His former self seemed to be moving in slow motion as his fast strikes slashed through their torsos. No longer did he have difficulty knicking appendages. Now Fenrir could start hacking into the big meat, making every blow filled with death.

[4/7] Another thing Fenrir began to notice as his training progressed was how well he was starting to use his Chihana. Though it wasn't reccomended for the style, Fenrir skipped straight to the advanced blade of the style instead of bothering with the first. Now though, he could tell that that was a smart move on his part, as his over experience with the Chihana made the advanced stages of the swordstyle even more perfect.

[5/7] Fenrir adapted more of the style to his advantage as he began purposely letting an area stay unprotected. Little did even his clones know, however, that this was merely a trap to lure them in. Of course, it worked perfectly. The clones would charge in for the bait, and as soon as they were within an arm length's away Fenrir would suddenly flash to behind them, his strike so fast that the clone was destroyed before he could do anything to stop him. Fenrir was truly starting to become a close-range death machine.

[6/7] With the skill and style out of the way, Fenrir concentrated on learning and perfecting the secret art that came with the stage. He infused his blade with his chakra, very similar to how he had performed it in the Shigure Shouen style. His blade radiated with a deadly aura. In an instant Fenrir slashed across a clone, his chakra pushing and infecting the wound so that it would never heal.

[7/7] Fenrir put everything he had learned in the stage together against the final clone. He left what appeared to be an opening on his body, and then when the clone drew near Fenrir slashed him across the gut line to spill out his insides. If it was a true enemy, then he would've died a very painful and horrific death, unable to save himself even if he was an expert medic. It was a truly terrifying skill to possess.

Fenrir whiped the sweat off his neck with a wet cloth as he rolled out the final stage of the Stolen Salvation sword style. He suddenly stopped, however, as his nose picked up on something and glanced up to see Mizu sitting on a nearby tree branch. "What are you doing here? I thought you were still in Cloud."

Fenrir stared at Mizu in silence for a moment but after she didn't say anything he simply muttered, "Well, I guess it doesn't matter anyways." With that, Fenrir went back to finish learning the last stage of the Stolen Salvation.

[1/9] From what could gather out of it, the last stage was all about the destruction of pain within his body. He gave a depressing whine, as he knew what this meant, and summoned several shadow clones. From there, he stripped away all of his bone armor and fought against the clones.

[2/9] The attack level was fairly the same as the last training session. The only big difference here though, was that without the bone armor to protect him from blows, every hit Fenrir took sliced right through his body. He gradually built his body to ignore all pain he felt from these wounds. Any hesitation would just earn him another one.

[3/9] Fenrir continued to train under this pattern. He would take out a few of his shadow clones, but then something would go wrong and they'd manage to cut through him. After a few minutes Fenrir's sword style began to perfect itself in order to dodge these kinds of damaging blows.

[4/9] Still his skill increased. He wielded the Chihana with expert skill, chopping through clones of his own skill level as if they were nothing. Yet, every couple of blows another hit would make it in to slice Fenrir's body yet again. The blood Fenrir was losing was starting to be too much.

[5/9] Again Fenrir went through the training exercise, ignoring all pain and whining his body was telling him to stop. Another cut sliced across the side of Fenrir's neck. Another split second later and Fenrir would've killed himself. The blood seeping down his face blurred his vision, and still he pushed on.

[6/9] Fenrir's skill increased even more. He knew his body couldn't take any more damage. It was either become the best, or fall now! Fenrir blitzed through his clones, taking them all out with god-like speed.

[7/9] He defeated several of them, but then yet again a strike would always make it through. "Why?" Fenrir thought. "Why do I still get hit if the style is trying to teach me to defend myself?" It was then that Fenrir realized the flaw in his training strategy.

[8/9] The truth was that the style wasn't trying to teach him how to never be hit at all. Rather, it was meant to prepare him for when he did get hit. Throughout the entire training exercise Fenrir had pushed his body beyond the point of limit, so that it would not feel pain. Now he understood what that meant. Fenrir's body would lose entire limbs and still he wouldn't even blink. The style that took all pain away from Fenrir's body.

[9/9] "Funny" Fenrir muttered as his blood trickled along the ground. "The lifeless snow indeed. My body reacts to pain as a deadman does, not at all." Fenrir chuckled a bit to himself for a moment. Suddenly he whipped his sword around on himself and stabbed himself through his midsection. Fenrir coughed up blood and glanced down at his wound. It had just narrowly missed his vitals. If he had actually gone through with it, no enemy would've been able to dodge such an unthinkably suicidal tactic. Fenrir removed his sword and stuck it back in its sheathe before recollecting the scrolls and limping off to the hospital, trying not to die on the way there.
