Raine shrugged "I came prepared for that" she said and lifted her shirt to show her elven armor "We need to hurry to the meadow, i think that is the only way we can find Alexis, we'll find Matt later" she said about to put her pack on when she realized it was practically nightfall "Damn... i guess we need to start fire"

"I'll go, i think my powers still work." said Anne hopefully.
Anne quickly grew a small tree using her elemental powers and with hesitation set it on fire. Then she truned to find rock and brought them over to circle the fire.
"That was easy, i was expecting to fail."

Vale sat there looking rather pitiful and unhealthy seemed his powers did more than most thought. "Quite odd." He said after having stay silent for awhile. "While our powers are gone... yours have actually grown." he observed. His dead black eyes stared out looking as if he had nothing in there at all.

Raine shook her head as she tried to use a power but nothing, she had nothing. It didn't surprise her but she found it interesting. Looking back to talk to Vale, she noticed his black eyes and her stomach dropped as her heart grew heavy "Vale, your eyes"

Anne turned and looked at the emptiness in Vale eyes.

Vale closed them. "I know..." He said unemotionally. "We should get going..." He stood shakily, and you can hear his joints popping. "God... how long has it been..." he muttered to himself. He rummages in his back pack and pulls out a leather chest plate which he puts on. Emblazoned on the front is the emblem of the Dawn Patrol. Which was now an elite group of angels used for dangerous missions of exterminating the parts of the underworld and heaven that defected from their main bodies. New regions are discovered all the time as well. Back in Vale's day though they were a group of humans used as a strike force lethal enough to take out a demon city in a single night before dawn. Also from his bag he pulls a potion and drinks it. He then pulls a bracelet out and puts it on his wrist several charms hang off of it and they are all of different weapons. He closed his bag and turned to the both of them his face an impregnable stone mask.

Turning to put on her own armor, which was that representing the angels, the warrior ones at least as well as the elven warrior. Thank you father she thought to herself, donning a sword, dagger and bow. But when she turned to see Vale's face, she swore her heart was breaking, his eyes empty and his face stone cold like when she had first met him. God, how long had it taken before she could even get a smile from him, not a smirk or the stone she saw now? It made her heart hurt as she tried not to put her hand over her heart from the pain that was building. Turning, she focused on building a fire for the night

Anne rummaged through the pack she had. She pulled out a vest like piece of armor, a change of clothes, and a brush. Then she tied her dagger around her waist with a few needles she could throw. She checked her to make sure her bracelet was still around her wrist, then used her powers to make a small room out of rock. It was a lot easier than it would have been on Earth.
In the rock room she changed into her new clothes and armor. Then Anne pulled a jacket over her head and pushed the rocks back underground. Before walking towards Raine and Vale she noticed a familiar symbol on her armor, but couldn't figure out where she had seen it or why it was there.

(I'm not actually sure, i'm kinda confused and I hope alexis comes back to help us along)
Raine set up a sleeping back and tent from her pack "Let's eat and get some rest, we'll do no good to Alexis half dead or asleep" she said before pulling out a little food that the headmaster had packed for them

The Prophet came up to Alexis and Ace, holding a scroll. He said to them "This scroll right here has enchantments to keep you two from the addiction of ecstasy from the garden... Which you, Alexis, got high from." As he said that, Ace chuckled.
"So what now?" Alexis asked the Prophet. He replied "Well, you have to go there and retrieve these 4 lost wanderers. But you have to make sure that those beasts want harm anybody. Anything they do will surely kill you one way or the other."

(well that explains why Vale attacked me (I love you Hareonca wink OH MY GOD! I just got this idea for the book *jots it down before she forgets*)
Raine prepared a meal for them, her ears twitching as she listened to the sounds of the night. Once everything was prepared, she hurried through her meal and stood, before walking to her pack and bringing out a small tent the headmaster had packed for her. Smiling, she thought of her adoptive father before moving to set it up

Anne wasn't in the mood to eat and instead played with fire on her fingers after setting the tent up. Suddenly strange growling bark came from a thicket of trees in the garden.

Vale had eaten though you notice it wasn't nearly as much as he usually would have. Which like enough for ten people instead it was almost like he wasn't hungry and didn't even finish half of his first plate. Soon after he turns his back to the fire and assumes the Seiza position and sits there quietly with his eyes closed not moving an inch.
