Lixini, he asked you if you had any special needs. Kasha looked around and spotted Jason. She tilted her head. For some odd reason her whole body was pulling towards his direction. Soon she was pressed against the cage. Lixini, what am i doing why?

Tessa

Tessa nodded her head in response and walked into the shop. She avoided looking at the dreadful cages, or making eye contact with anyone. Silly thoughts kept running through her head. Thoughts like What if he decided he doesn't want me and sells me back to the shop? What do all the others think of me returning back here? Surely they can't think that I am here to mock them.

Tessa followed close behind Jason, keeping her eyes on his feet. She hoped they could leave soon. She really didn't like it. Especially with how dimly lit the shop was, her mind kept playing tricks on her. Wimpering quietly, Tessa's head was spinning, her emotions choking the air out of her. She felt like she was going to faint any second now.

Lerista didnt know what he was aiming for but he didnt feel he needed help, or her. He sighed and stepped foward a bit. "You misunderstand...I purchased her and am not trying to hide her. So as much as your offer is generous I dont really need it."

Lixini perked up when she heard Kasha still inside her head. Evidently they were linked more than she thought...she'd never created a mind link with any of her planet before. So they could hear, and somewhat see what was going on with the other...this could be helpful. Don't worry. I think that man's back to get you! She thought, along with a thanks. To Ian, she shook her head. She would propose some metal, or something to work with her inventions, but not until she could speak his language.

Roland

Roland watched the pet-Girl with mild interest. The longer she was in the shop, the worse she seemed to get. She looked pale and her eyes seemed un-focused. Roland went to the edge of the cage and stuck his muzzle through the bars. "Hey are you alright?" he asked.

Ian

Ian raised an eye brow as the ini shook her head. He wondered how she understood him, but decided to ask questions later. He motioned for her to follow as he took her down the stairs and hall and into her room. "This room is yours, try and keep it clean....and um...ill buy you cloths to put in the closed." he said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. He said "Whatever stuff you do have, you just put wherever you want."

All Lixini got out of what Ian was saying was one word-yours-and she didn't understand anything else. Her eyes peered around the room, it seemed bigger than what she had had in her shack back home. So...different. She looked to Ian and smiled. He seemed nice so far...she may have actually gotten lucky, having been taken from her planet to this one.

Kasha hoped Lixini was right. But somehow she could still hear everything that was going on around Lixini. Lixini, he's telling you that this is your room. And that all your stuff can go anywhere you want it to.

Thanks...you know, this is the first mind link I've made...is being able to hear the other's surroundings normal? Or is this your first one too? Lixini thought, as she looked to Ian. She didn't have any things, sadly. Her fingers reached up, and slid against her thick collar. This world was so different. They were taught in the school back home what to do if you were sold as a pet or servant, and a few words in each language. Just basic ones, of course.

No this isn't my first, i had one with my mate before. I probably still do because they never go away. But i just havent looked for or tried to talk to him in a while. I like mind-links, but they only come when two neko's are either really good friends or mates. Kasha smiled, knowing that Lixini was a really good friend of hers.

Oh, okay! Lixini thought with a smile lasting on her face. She was still waiting for Ian to tell her what to do, or tell her to do whatever she wanted...she couldn't do anything until he said she could.

Ian

Ian, not having owned a pet before, was unsure of what to do. He was reasonably sure that she thought that this was her room, and wasn't to worried about her. He saw her watching him, realizing she probably didn't know what to do either. "Um...I'll leave you to get used to your environment. Look around all you want, I have nothing to hide...um, when your done come see me." He petted her head, not knowing how else to leave her, and went to go work on his very frustrating work of art.

He wants you to get used to your surroundings. And when you are done, go to him. Kasha smiled. At least she was useful for something. It gave her a little bit of fulfilment.

Thanks again, Kasha. Lixini thought, before she moved about her own room. It was, after all, a lot bigger than her own room back home. In fact, the whole place was a castle compared to what she had had back home. She stepped out of her room, wandering around a bit. Her main priority was to figure out where the kitchen was, as she was pretty sure she'd need to use it.

Lixini did, indeed, manage to find it...full of things she didn't recognize. Not good...it was so different compared to back home. She turned to a large, square, box-like thing with a bunch of circular knobs and stepped up to it. Furrowing her eye brows, she turned one of the knobs, to see a fire poof out. She immediately turned it the other way. So she'd found his stove...so odd, a square stove controlled by a spinny knob.

((Lixini's first encounter with a more modern stove...'tis funny, at least to me.))

Jason saw the uneases in Tessa's eyes as he drew her close to his side. She was trembling and scared.

"Tessa, if you would like, you may go back to the car. I won't think less of you if you wish to. It will be only a moment of signing/retrieving papers that are necessary and escorting Kasha out." he said gesturing to the little one. He understood her unease and held her closer.

"Miss Melanie, the only things I came for today would be sweet little Kasha. No questions asked today." he spoke leading Tessa with him until she responded and chose. She could leave whenever she wished.

"Hello little one." he said to her kindly.

Tessa felt stupid being scared of the place, so she didn't head back to the car. She wanted to, but she just leaned closer to Jason and quietly replied "I'm fine. I'll stay with you."

The uneasiness wasn't going away but she felt a little safer wth Jason next to her. The longer she stood in there the more she felt bad for the prisoners. Lets go. Come on, Hurry Up. She thought to herself. Tessa realized how much she was shaking and took a deep breath, calmer herself down a little bit.
