 Darek followed Dannie down the hallway. A few more men came out and Darek took them out with ease as he zapped them. Darek reached into his pocket and pulled out a cylinder and twisted it and became a staff. " A gift from the man who brought me to the academy," he said quietly.

She had no idea what was going on as she stood there to it became a staff ,and she listens to him after that. She nods her head before the last guard came behind Darek. She changes and attacks the guy before mauling him to death. Darek looked around seeing that the training ended. He slumped his shoulders and said, " damn I didn't get to use my staff." He looks at Dannie and smiles and turns to the teacher to hear their results.

She leans over and kisses his cheek before whisphering,"Next time." Storm came over to them and told them that they had passed the missions with flying colors ,so they will be going onto a really mission soon together. She told them more about the mission which made Dannie feel sorry for the kids that the military has taken. Darek collapsed his staff as Storm explained there mision. By the end of it he was angry for what the military did. They raided the streets occasionally capturing mutants. He was clinching the cylinder.

She puts her hand over one of his before kissing his cheek,"Lets go to class Darek. You need something to take your mind off of this." She wasn't going to stay awake unless Darek needs someone to talk to. He felt Dannie tugged at his hand. He let her take it and followed her to class. Darek put the cylinder back in his pocket as they walk. As they headed to class Darek stopped and pulled Dannie to in and Kissed her. After they were done he said, " Thank you."

When darek stopd them from walking, she was about to protest to he kisses her ,and she returns the kiss before he pulls away. She gave him a peck on the lips before saying,"Your welcome Darek. Lets go to class ,so I can sleep." DArek sat next to Dannie in class in the back. He grabbed her hand and kissed it and said, " Good night love." He sat back in class and thought of the up coming mission. He needed to control his anger.

Darek learns what he could from the class. Occationally he would look at Dannie and smile at how peaceful she looks. He also noticed a few dirty looks from a few of the guy that were interested in Dannie. Darek just smiles and relaxes some more.

The coughing woke herself up, she stops coughing after a while and spits out a bullet. She made a face before resting her head back down on her arms. Darek looked at Dannie caught up a bullet like it was nothing. He gave her a strange look and saw that she was alright. She went right back to sleep and Darek couldn't help but laugh alittle. He sat back and waited for the end of class.

She sat up sleepily and stretches her arms before getting out of her seat and stretches her legs. Then she looks over at Darek and waits for him to get up ,so they could go get something to eat since she is super hungry at the moment.
