Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[Zahzi]

The winged Maverick gave a growl, the Wings began to flap forward, making a gust of wind that caused the smoke to dissipate.

"Oh look. We can watch the fight now."  

[cptflint]

Steam disappeared as quickly as the smoke had.

As Edge continued to jump around, avoiding Sphere's direct attacks, she too kept throwing her own attacks at him. While it would seemed she was just wasting weaponry, she was trying to test his armor. While his armor was tough, it could only logically take so much. It would have to give some time.  

[Zahzi]

The armor seemed to be taking little to no damage. Sphere seemed to be impenetrable while as a ball.

An imaginary lightbulb then shined above Dozer.
"Oh! Edge! I think I know how to solve your impending doom problem~"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Edge growled in frustration as her idea of weakening the armor was failing. She was running out of options to beat this Maverick. Then, Dozer barked out to her. For once, she was greatful.

"Whatever it is, do it now!" She shouted as she focused on simply avoiding Sphere.  

[Zahzi]

"Lead him to me." Dozer instructed Edge over the Comm so Sphere wouldn't hear him.

He then moved out into the open and waited.

Steam continued to wait for the other mavericks to make a move, staying in stealth as he watched them.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Understood." Edge replied aloud, now jumping and moving steadily who where she saw Dozer moving. She didn't go to go straight to Dozer, as she didn't want the Maverick to grow suspicious of their plan unfolding, and kept following their squaring pattern to move forward.  

[Zahzi]

Dozer just gave a sigh, watching Sphere follow in-toe, getting ever closer.
It would be awhile....  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

After a few more leaps, Edge leapt past Dozer.

"Now's your chance." She growled at him, hoping whatever half-thought idea he had would work.  

[Zahzi]

Dozer gave a chuckle as Sphere rolled towards him.
He lowered down into a stance, holding his hands out as Sphere slammed into him, causing Dozer to move back a few feet before coming to a halt.
It was currently a game of Unstoppable Force meeting Unmovable Object.

Edge was several yards away from behind Dozer when she finally came to a stop and turned to watch, with trepidation, his plan. When the two reploids collided, she flinched back in surprise and was ready to run out of the way to avoid being completely ran over. Much to her surprise though, Dozer and Sphere had come to a complete stop.

Edge almost looked estatic to see that the Maverick was locked in with Dozer, his arms having to remain up or else Dozer would have crushed him "Good work!" She called out to the other Hunter, moving in closer so she had a better angle on the exposed part of Sphere's under arm, where his armor as weak. "Very good work." She smirked as she threw one saw blade to the pit of Sphere's arm as a test

Sphere was still spinning, trying to use traction against Dozer, making aiming at the spot difficult.

Dozer gave a feral grunt, trying to keep a hold of Sphere.
He then gave a roar as his grip tightened, making his hands twist, making a sicking crack, but also causing Sphere to stop completely as he lifted him up and threw him into the air, causing Sphere to fall out of the Ball Form, leaving him wide open for an attack.

"DO IT NOW!!"

Edge watched in some surprise as Dozer started to out do Sphere in the means of strength. She hardly ever saw him go to his full potentional, as they rarely encountered such troublesome Mavericks. Had he not shouted, she probably would have watched the Maverick fall in wonder.

After being snapped into reality, Edge started to throw a storm of saw lades up at Sphere's exposed body, not wanting to waste the oppurtunity Dozer had created.  

[Zahzi]

The Sawblades not only connected with Sphere's exposed spine, it did something even worse.
The blades caused the spine to be cut entirely, Sphere giving a pained roar as he fell back to the ground, the ground shaking as he did so, now in two.

Dozer gave a groan, falling back, now sitting on the ground, before looking at his now-destroyed hands.
"God-dammit...Brand-freaking new......."

"Well. It appears Sphere bit it." The Red Maverick said aloud, as the others seemed to dig their heels into the ground.

"Not......Done........Yet......." Sphere wheezed slowly raising his lef tarm and pressing a button on his chest before going limp.

"...Why did they dig-" Dozer was stopped as Sphere erupted into an explosion with enough force to send Dozer flying into the solid wall of a building, and carrying a radius wide enough to catch both Edge and Steam in as well. While not lethal, it was clearly incapacitating.

"IT NEVER ENDS!!"

"Oh, it will soon." The Orange Maverick chuckled, taking the fight as a distraction to now be on the top of a building, overlooking the three, the cannon on its arm glowing.
"You three are just gonna be annoying later. Best to n** it in the bud now. Buh-byyyeee~" He laughed, as a shot rang out.
But not from the cannon.

Instead, something was shot into the cannon, making the charged blast explode inside the cannon, causing the arm to rupture, leaving the Orange Maverick in a fit of pain.
"WHO'S OUT THERE!?" He barked glaring out into the distance.

The Winged Maverick looked around as well, following the trajectory and giving a grunt.
"The Black one.." he droned.

"Oh, do we get to kill him, too..?" The Blue Maverick asked excitedly.

"You know our orders...We're to fall back. Our little friend with the freezing personality should be prepared to cover our leave." The Red Maverick grunted, already walking away.

"Fiiine....." The Blue Maverick sighed, slumping forward, following.

The Winged Maverick flew over to the Orange one and grabbed him by his good arm before dragging him away as well.
