Ripps shrugged. "It's just a very spontaneous lifestyle," she said with a nod. "You gotta have a lot of courage and daring in you. And you have to be willing to kill without a second thought."

Ripps laughed and took a sip of her shot. "Not really baddies, just anyone with the right amount for a bounty."

"But luckily I'm not like most bounty hunters who kill without a reason."

Bareq is asleep in a booth in the back.

"Well, people label a person's attitude according to their occupation and it's rather misleading," she said. "People ask my occupation and as soon as they hear, it they think I'm lethal and dangerous. It's a bunch of bull," she said as she pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

"You're right..." she said, taking a drag off her cig and blowing it into the air. "It could be worse-- I could be alone."

"Well, you'll find someone..." she said as she finished her cig. It hissed as she tossed it into the remainers of her drink. "Everyone does."
