Para stood up from the couch. "James, Acid! Now is really not the time to fight. We have enough problems on our hands at the moment." She directed her attention to James. "Acid didn't mean to destroy your shed, get over it. He's giving you shelter isn't he? Be gratefully for that."  

[Halcyon III]

James growled, "Everything was about as good as it could get for me in this damn world, and you go and bring bio terrorists and god-awful looking experiments. Not to mention you're infected, and are planning on a suicide march!" he yelled back, and he grabbed the knife, "Oh, and you missed." he said, tossing it out the window.

Not wanting to hear the fight, she slid out the window, and climbed to the roof, where she pulled her legs to her chest, and resting her chin on her knees, Gazing around the area.

Acid growled at james. "why dont you just stop being such a pompous little a**! me having this virus was not my choice!!! i was in a ******** lab for most of my life for gods sake! you think i volunteered to have that happen to me?! ******** YOU!!" Acid yelled.  

[Halcyon III]

James crossed his arms, "Oh, boo hoo." he said, "You think any of us volunteered to fight for our lives?" he asked, "I signed up to shoot at regular terrorists. Not zombies and mutants. You have about as much to complain as we do." he told him, "Now, you can either complain about your miserable life, or start realizing we all are ears deep in zombie s**t right now."

She covered her ears and closed her eyes, Still on the roof, and started to sing, trying to drown them out,

Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow

James sighed, "Fine, I'll just go." he said, and he proceeded to leave the building, growling.

He left his shotgun in the hideout.

After he went down to the street, he found Acid's knife, after a moment of looking at it, he picked it up, and then threw it back through the window, it landing on the floor with a clatter.

He turned, muttering, "See ya..." he said.

She watched James, noticing that he didn't have his shot gun. She bit her lip, contemplating weather to join him, or let him be...

James was headed back to his shed, just to see what had remained.

To his dismay, there was still a bunch of zombies, and the shed door was still open. He sighed, and he had his pistol in hand, he looked around, and then at the pistol, "I could just... end everything, couldn't I?"

Aurora, following her instinct, which told her to follow him, stared at him in horror, then ran and hugged him tightly, NO!!!, she yelled, holding his arms to his side, making him unable to move his arms, Why would you even think of the cowards way out?!

James sighed, "Aurora..." he said, and he looked down, "I don't know anymore." and he dropped the pistol, "I guess you're all I have left..." he mumbled.

James, you are a wonderful man, you have friends, you have a life! She said, then looked up at him, unshead tears in her eyes, Don't... don't leave me.. she said, and burried her face into his chest, loosening her arms, letting him move his. Don't leave me... don't leave me alone..

James nodded, and he kissed her head and said, "I won't... I'm sorry." he held her close, "Now, let's get off the streets..." he said, "I'm tired of looking at these zombies."

She nodded, and took his hand, starting to lead them back to the safe house, rubbing her eyes, trying to get the tears out of them.

James picked up his pistol and he followed her, he sighed, "I'm sorry for the argument... it's just, I feel life is too valuable to risk over some data about zombies..."
