The Owl of Grey hadn't payed much mind to his father after catching up to him and the rest of the team. His elder brother as usual wore his contemplative mask. Cleaning up behind Che was made easier on him by Will whenever the task was needed from him. It was rare that Che missed anything, but when he did, it was something only two people could fix. It would take a single person a lifetime to do so. Within his extensive lavender gaze, Roulin spotted Will taking Che's hand and poking an attendant's eye. His stone visage soon cracked giving way to a confused glare. The higher the stewardess's arm went up the higher his interest in the matter grew. When she released her foghorn-like cry, the Life Owl nodded and turned to receive an eyeful of mindless humans appearing to attack.

Two fingers arose to his collar and they tugged lightly giving the young Italian all the comfort he'd need for this. "Oh. It's about time. Thank you Will." Roulin's tone, which until this moment denied any sign of joy or positivity, flowed from his lips like finely woven silk. His wide eyes soon narrowed and his hand clenched and cracked as through his muscles began to run the expectation of a worth while fight. His first motion was dipping his right hand into his pocket to retrieve the small shard of gold that acted as the base of his lightsaber. Feeling the emptiness of his khaki pants, the memory of dropping in Africa crossed his mind. He wouldn't be cutting any of these men or women down today...not that he didn't have other means of killing anyone. After swiftly running his tongue between the curved folds that were his lips, he awaited the zombie like apparitions in his fighting stance.

As they came down slashing acrylic nails, pens and knives, Roulin dodged easily, but took notice of their above average speed. Only a few of them were young, but those that were would easily be a problem if he let them. He knew better than that though. Dispatching anything that wanted his blood was what would drive him this day. This was just the beginning. In no time at all, the raven haired man had taken down two people and was working on his third. There was no need for his other powers here besides his sight and so as a challenge, he refrained from using them. The first attacker had his neck snapped, the second had her throat slashed by her own knife which Roulin snatched from her and the third had his windpipe crushed after the lavender eyed Owl bared down on his throat with his foot. More enjoyable to him than what Vincent was doing, but less efficient that incapacitating them as Cecilia chose to do. He was working at his own pace until Nikolai blocked them off.

"We should Nik." replied Che who had made it to the entrance finally. "We should. And thanks for that. I doubt these guys would've stopped hadn't you done that..." Rubbing the bridge of his nose, Che passed through the doors of the airport and stood waiting for the rest of them to gather. When they gathered in his area, he sighed and patted down his hair nervously and looked toward the city of Richmond in the distance. Things weren't going well for the small metropolis and surely, it would take more than a year's time to revive it after this. This place as well as the entire east coast was probably feeling this very same pain...

He shook free the thought though he was still very much disappointed in this entire farce. It was up to them to put things to an end and tonight was the night to do it. "Daryle, now that I know you're a goddamn Herald, I'm going to put you on the Herald team. If your name isn't Cecilia, Anderson, Anya, Moli or Daryle, then don't listen closely. When we reach the city, you five will be on crowd control duty and by that, I mean you'll be drawing out the remaining Herald's. Lucien and Roulin will be going in for Raven. I may need to send one more person with you two by the way. I'll know who by the time we get into the city alright? Let's get moving then."

Anderson slashed his blade twice each in a different diagonal slash striking back against more of the possessed humans. He spun around holding his hand out silver particles began to gather in his palm right before a powerful energy beam shot from his hand, it smashed into the chests of the people closest to him. Swiping his hand along his field of vision the beam continued colliding with any human that got into it's way. Finally he closed his hand into a fist ceasing the energy flow. He cracked his knuckles and then turned to Che who began to talk. Anderson understood his position here to work with the heralds and keep the majority of the people here at bay. He nodded, walking towards the friendly heralds. "Understood."

Slashing his blade again as he spun around he released another bolt of energy which blew back more of the humans. It was sad, and a fact Anderson didn't want to admit but these things were relentless, he could see some had broken limbs and still they continued as if it was nothing. He gripped the handle of his blade tighter, he didn't want to accept it...But it was true. Anderson slashed the blade once more, but the bolt of energy took a much more bladed look on the outer edge of the bolt. As it collided with some of the humans it cut clean through their bodies sending them tumbling to the ground. "Raven will pay for every life." He whispered. This hurt the blonde owl in ways he had never been hurt before. He wasn't like some of the others, Anderson had never killed normal unarmed humans, this wasn't a war it was butchery masquerading as justice. "Pass on with no regrets." He said softly as he slashed his blade again cutting through another group of the possessed humans.

Lucien laughed at Nik's remark, with the humans he had floating in the air through his telekinetic powers he pulled his hand down smashing them to the ground before firing them one by one at other groups of the zombie people to keep them at bay. When he ran out his body dissipated into mist vanishing from the room for a moment. Soon Lucien reformed holding his hand up at chest level. In the dark of the airport, thanks to Nik's powers, his wires were completely hidden. "As fun as that would be we need him for a bit longer." He pulled his raised fist back causing the wires he had laced throughout the area to become taut slicing clean through the people who ran into them in the dark. As Nik raised a wall of shadow energy Lucien retracted his wires. When Che gave his orders Lucien looked towards Roulin. "Alright, Roulin and I will take care of Raven." He walked towards Roulin wondering if he really had it in him to kill Raven. Though subtle Lucien could tell there was some odd connection between the two of them, respect perhaps? Admiration? He couldn't be sure, either way all he could do was hope for now.

As the plane landed Demios kept mostly quiet and to himself choosing to walk alongside his friends and allies and just watching what was going on around him. However, when Will used Che's hand to poke the woman and she screamed it caught Demios off guard and he fell for a moment in shock. He only took a moment to compose himself before standing and watching the chaos ensue. Demios couldn't help but believe only the satan owl could stir up this much trouble. Demios then watched as his friends fought them off as he stood there. He then made a gesture and tried to make a fireball, however, nothing happened. Demios frowned it was as he feared his magic wasn't working. He shut his eyes for a moment trying to remember what Amara had told him. He paused for a moment trying to feel the mana around them, once he felt it he smiled feeling a little more confident. He let out a breath deciding to try a different tactic and save his energy. He grabbed his amulet and changed it into his glaive. He spun it quickly before slicing a few of them. He looked at Vincent "Be on your toes, this is probably the easy part" He said.

((Will))

About time, hmm? Will certainly wasn't anywhere as surprised as the others to the human alarms. Neither did he care about Nik's remark about him and Che's agreement. "About time you guys woke up." He smirked even though not many people would hear him in the midst of the noise. The "human" alarms had served their purpose of waking the team up as well as alerting the Fallen Phoenix. It was like taking two birds down with one stone.

The Satan Owl was relatively passive as he watched the others act, testing them to see their reactions. Hmph. Still crap, and these are only humans with no weapons. He noted the different displays of "mercy" or "vengeance" and simply shrugged as Nikolar finally had the somewhat smart idea of putting up a shadow wall to box them in from the others while the other Owls continued the onslaught. Thanks to the wall, the alarm sounds were muffled.

"Nice try, Cheani. He's not a Herald." the devil muttered loud enough for Che to hear. He said nothing as the sound of the alarms seemed to dim even more and then more and more as more of the humans were knocked unconscious, exploded/killed, or somehow just seemed to stop making the siren noises as they turned their attention on each other. The blonde simply smirked as he stood calmly not even moving a muscle.

But then he changed his mind as he shifted close to Daryle and whispered into the Breezy's ear. "Do give old Thomas my regards if you run into him, if you know what I mean." Yes, that pretty much meant kill Thomas or bring Thomas to Will so the Satan Owl could do something about him.

((Daryle Saxton))

The human onslaught simmered down with thanks to Nikolai and his sound cancelling box of shadows. Daryle finished up with one more person before moving closer to hear what Che was blabbering on about. When he heard his name mentioned he glanced up with an innocent smile “Only just realised have we? Then again, it’s not as if I have been using my powers in public.” The blonde shrugged his shoulders and crossed his arms over his chest. So he was once again put on crowd control….which wasn’t so much crowd control as acting like bait…Easy enough, right?

The Breezy flame didn’t bat an eyelid when the Satan Owl stepped close enough besides him to whisper a few words into his ear. Daryle smirked and merely nodded his head. He understood what Will meant by the words he had spoken. “Of course…” To find Thomas on this kind of playing field would not be easy…but it was not impossible. The blonde had a few things to settle with that low life Texan; things that could not be settled over a glass of bourbon whisky. A lot has changed since their last meeting and Daryle couldn’t wait to show the old geezer just what he had learned in a short space of time.

Daryle glanced around at the others gathered and shifted the weight from one foot to another “So…Is everyone ready? Time is ticking and it would be better if we find them first and not the other way round.” He wasn’t being impatient….he merely wanted this whole thing to be over and done with in time for dinner. “Unless people have questions that they wish to ask…” He added almost as though he was treating this situation like it was a school trip to some historic place. Whatever the case, Daryle was ready.

"s**t!" Cecilia cursed. Despite the fact that they cut down the zombie-like civilians, they continued to rise again and again. They were relentless. Quite a few were sporting broken bones. She could see how their legs were bent awkwardly. She could hear the sounds of their bone cracking, bones sticking from their flesh grotesquely with blood running from their body. This was what Raven wanted. She wanted it this way so that they would have no choice, but to kill them. She was using them to do her dirty work.

The silver haired Gravity Herald pushed another group back with a wave of gravitational pressure. Yet they pushed against it. Their determination was unfathomable. She and the rest of the new Heralds, plus Anderson would be acting as crowd control, which suited her just fine. Cecilia drew her chainwhip, allowing Cosmic energy to wrap around it and brandished it forward into a group of the zombie-like civilians. They moved like puppets on a marionette string. At least, that's what they reminded her of. Winded, but refusing to give up, they advanced towards her once again.

She couldn't bring them down without killing them. Cecilia had never intentionally killed a human being in her entire life. She didn't want to start now. Yet...what choice did she have?Opening the palm of her hand, she produced an orb of cosmic flames, the same she had used in her training session against Moli and other training sessions those last two weeks. It was many times hotter than normal fire and did not require oxygen to be given life. It was the flames that were emitted from the stars in the solar system and other celestial bodies.

Thrusting her hand forward, the flames flew forward like a whip. Cecilia began to spin, the whip of flames spinning with her, striking the group that had surrounded her before retracting the flame, like whip and jumping back a few feet with a gravitational lift carrying her as Nik's wall of shadows enveloped the zombiesque civilians, cutting them off from the others. She remained steadily moving as the wall did so as not to become trapped within it.

((Genya))

So, guess what Genya had for "brunch"? Tacos and he nearly had a banana split too, but a certain purple haired female probably had an opinion on that. Gen's older brother Benkei internally rolled his eyes. Clearly, Genya was still thinking of Demi..or rather the food that he had learned about from Demi.

"Eto, Naoki-san...banana splits taste good though!" Genya complained as he tried to persuade Naoki and Benkei to let him get a banana split.

"Tsch." was Benkei's only comment. This kid genius brother of his was developing the oddest taste in food in addition to experiments. Despite being a part of the Fallen Phoenix and traveling surprised aroudn the world, Ben had to admit Genya apparently still had more guts somehow when it came to trying food.

Back and forth, back and forth. The blonde girl watched as the metal ball that had just been taken from her skin rolled across the table in the meeting room. Her eyes watched it closely, knocking over cups and spilling water everywhere. As if on cue, the ball expanded and seemed to become erratic, spikes jutting everywhere and piercing everything. The metal had veins running through it, jutting out from its surface with a pursing nature.

The young woman stared straight to the middle of the sparatic ball, throwing a pen into it and watching as the ball engulfed it. The ball broke into a million pieces, each one circling around Acelyn like she was the sun. Each ball was replaying a memory from the girl's life, whispers coming from every spherical object floating in the vast room. The blonde stood, walking over to a ball that was staying still, playing the memory that Roulin had given her just a day before. She touched it and it expanded, watching it like a television. As she watched, the girl became angry, knowing that one of the people on the battlefield today killed the one family member she had left to the point to where she couldn't even bury her body.

Acelyn swept her fingers through the memory, watching it falter for a second before continuing on and shrinking back to its normal size that it was before. The girl gripped the back of her chair tightly, her metal colored finger nails piercing the chair violently. Breathing out and in to calm her nerves, she thought of something else. The happy memories she did have, would always have, and the thought of vacationing back in Italy again. Relaxing her grip, she walked over to the window and looked towards the air port, her head tilting as she thought.

"He isn't? Oh well, he's still being on crowd control. People's powers don't change over--well, not into another elem---he's still on crowd control." Che trudged forward towards the metropolis that was crumbling before his dark purple eyes with heavy steps and baited breath. After that little fiasco, there was no doubt in him mind now that there were Exirians on their way to inspect it. This just meant that he and the rest of them had to move quickly towards the center of the city where they could split up safely. It was a checkpoint of sorts for the elder Owl as well as everyone else. Following Daryle's suggestion, the bushy haired Italian even sped up and soon reached the outskirts of the concrete jungle.

Roulin's grin hadn't lifted since their departure from the airport. In his mind, the scene replayed constantly. What brought on the smirk though was the thought of each of them being an Owl with a power he'd not yet attained. Some of which were abilities that possibly existed in the far reaches of the world. Powers he could take and use for his own pleasure. Looking forth into the broken buildings, ongoing scuffles and explosions in the distance, around into the light polluted sky and back into the darkness Nik left at the airport, the young Owl kept close to everyone ready to strike at anything that neared.

His father had told him long ago, that he'd be going off to fight against Raven with Lucien so this wasn't news to him. Because he'd gotten word of it, it only made him all the more anxious to go off on his own right now and leave them all to themselves. With a clenched fist, he looked around at all of them. Upon realizing he couldn't fall back and simply teleport away using the night as his veil, he took notice of the dogfight going on in the skies above. Owls, some with armor and some without, were fighting against humans who of course had their jets and planes to counterattack with. The spray of bullets being fired from the chambers of the guns within the jets and the booms and crashes of the powers being set off in the sky gave the team of Owls little illumination.

Though all of this happened to be just above them and the city's airspace ongoing, there was one jet that managed to escape Roulin's all but perfect vision. It was a stealth jet and it was preparing a batch of missiles just for the little bunch of Owls.

"Yeah, Thomas..." Che trailed off, his teeth gritting just at the mere thought of that man. The Mastering Owl wanted nothing else than to kill him with his own hands, but he doubted he'd get to him first. Everyone in the group has been affected by him so as a secondary mission, Che assumed, everyone wanted to kill him as painfully as they could. "Don't worry Will. Someone here will get to that old coot and give em' the ol' one two," said Che in the Texan's accent. "As much as I'd like to be the one that kills him, I know someone else will--"

"Missiles..." Roulin abruptly ceased walking and took notice of the slight disturbance that was obviously a projectile of some kind. It was heading towards them at a pace and pattern that would be hard to predict when trying to shoot it down. The word he whispered in a surprised tone caused Che to spin around and his brother to look over his shoulder in anticipation. In the skies behind them was just what he'd say a few ways off. Missiles. Several of them in a cluster that was slowly spreading to strike at an angle. There wasn't much time for decision...Roulin sprang to the side off of impulse alone and began to dash away from the group drawing only a few of them away.

Noticing just how the propelled explosives work, Che only shook his head and announced to each of the remaining Owls with him, "Go! Just go! Get with your partners and go! We'll meet somewhere later!" Giving a brief nod to Will and Kate, the Mastering Owl himself took off towards the city dragging the Satan Owl and the Gatekeeper along with him. A section of the missile cloud broke away, but that still left a good share for the rest of them to deal with.

((Will))

Out of the airport and into the city. Nik's shadow walls had made things incredibly easier for the team, but since it had been moving with them, it probably wouldn't block the entrance/exit of the airport. What was to say that the human alarms wouldn't follow? Oh, right...they were practically all out of commission or distracted in some way now thanks to several of the Owls on the team including William DeScythe.

The city of Richmond itself really wasn't a very big city at all, despite being the capital of the state of Virginia. The streets actually seemed quieter than the air, where planes and Owls were exchanging blows signified by flashes of fire and light and other Owl powers. The sound was natural to the blonde haired devil as war was natural to him. A smile graced his lips at the chaos. It wasn't chaotic enough though.

Hmm...maybe Che's hearing had gotten better because the Mastering Owl had heard Will's whisper to Daryle even in the midst of muffled people alarms. Whatever the case, Will's smile widened as Roulin mentioned missiles and Che frantically told everyone to split up and then dragged Will and Kate along with him in a randoom direction. The blonde waved to Anya and to Daryle. "May chaos reign~" he bid as a "farewell"/goodluck/whatever-you-want-to-call-it greeting to the others as little Cheani dragged him along.

"You know, Cheani. They are really just missiles. You could always destroy or reroute them." Will remarked matter-of-factly. Then again, this was the Satan Owl who was known for rewiring and reprogramming both organic and inorganic things alike with or without his powers or simply denying the existence of certain things. "You're getting slow, kid. You couldn't get Daryle right and you confused Anderson too.... good job, Che. At least you got Daryle half right on being a Herald. He's not full bred yet. Anderson doesn't even have have a trace of that." And no, as usual, Will didn't care if Cheani or Kate had something quip back about.

As they tore through what was left of the airport Lucien changed his tactics, pointing his hand towards the hordes of Owls which seemed to be drawn to their presence it charged with crackling electrical might. He planted his feet firmly and supported his hand with his other hand he fired a bolt of electricity from his hand as it traversed through the area it smashed into the bodies of the Owls who were directly infront of him, as it made contact the shock overloaded their systems, stopping their hearts soon after. Lucien lowered his hands looked up into the sky as the dogfights began, he could see Owls flying high above the air against planes, some of each shooting down the other. Lucien found himself instead of smiling at the situation as he normally would shaking his head in disgust. "This isn't a war, it's a massacre." He whispered.

As Roulin's voice called the words of missiles Lucien looked up, surely enough there was a barrage of missiles looming in the sky. Lucien's eyes narrowed lightly, his brain suddenly flipped on, his intelligence wasn't for nothing after all. His eyes instead of their usual blazing yellow color and slitted appearance changed. Now that Lucien had let go of that calculating robotic part of his life his eyes reflected on that status, Swirling energy eyes now filled his sockets, the white waves shifted and swirled in his eyes like an ever changing flow. He exhaled softly as he tracked the missiles, he began mouthing words at an incredibly fast rate. He swiped his hands downward revealing glimmers of his razor wires, he could see and calculate the missiles, but not all of them he could tell where they would go but he lacked the unlimited amount of control needed to stop them all. Swiping his hand upward his wires traversed through the air, Lucien had to missiles were guided by a communication system near the tip to act as a sensor, no sensor to path of travel. As the wires reached up to the first missile they sliced clean through the missile's navigation system, which shot it off course and into the ground far away. He looked to his right seeing that Roulin was trying to draw some away. Dashing to the side after Roulin Lucien sped himself up with his super speed power, using his ability over raw energy Lucien heated his body up, pulling more of the heat seeker missiles away from the others. As he ran alongside Roulin he hoped that Roulin would stick to the plan, he didn't know if he could beat Raven by himself, the two of them would most likely be needed.

Looking over his shoulder he could see that the maneuver had worked some of the missiles were tracing their movements, good. Turning back forward Lucien didn't need to see the missiles to calculate them or control them. Grasping one of the missiles with his telekinetic powers Lucien mentally began to maneuver the missile off course sending it crashing into a platoon of owls that stood in front of them, clearing them completely from their path. "They thought missiles would stop us? It just gave us bigger toys to play with."

"This war began in an explosion, the Owl Event which shook the world to it's core and set the path of war ablaze. Now standing over the looming gates of Hell I can't help but wonder. What was there to gain from this war?" asked a voice from the ever so elusive Radiant who stood on top of a downed fighter plane which had nose dived into the ground and now lay broken and forgotten. The pilot's body lay on the ground, but it wasn't the crash that had killed him, a bullet hole was obvious the exit wound bleeding from his back. "Brian, what now? All the terms of the contracts I have set out have been fulfilled. We have no other reason to stay in this fight...Other than one."

Brian formerly known as Phantom stepped from behind the plane's wreckage. "That we do, we still have our son, and his mission. For most of this war we sat by and did nothing because it wasn't out fight. But that type of thinking is wrong, we are not observers we are Owls fighting for our futures as well." No longer in need of his mask Brian ran his fingers through his light brown hair, obviously their son took after his wife more so than he did him. He started to walk forward with each step a small pulse of energy escaped his body, space warped with every step, the Owl of Creation wasn't in any need of holding back. "Attacking from the air as well as the ground? That's a bit under handed." He said softly as he started lifting himself up into the air. As his power radiated out of his body the physical world around them did not change, instead of changing it physically Brian had chosen to do something a little different. "In my field, navigation systems do not work." In an instant after he finished speakings all of the plane's navigation systems suddenly shut off. Leaving them only with their line of sight to see what they were doing. "Now let's see what you've got." He said as he began to warp reality, he smiled as he waved his hand buildings suddenly began to materialize in the sky, only floating upside down, Brian smiled as flying Owls and planes alike smashed into the sudden new anomalies that filled the sky. "You're children playing a man's game." He said as he watched them try and avoid splattering themselves over the floating city in the sky.

Radiant smiled at her husband's handiwork. "Always the creative type." She said as she jumped off of the plane landing on the ground. Looking around she could see that Fallen Phoenix troops had finally begun to investigate the crash sight of the plane. "Now where was I? Oh yes I remember now." She raised her hands up slightly as the troops aimed their guns at her. Appearing unarmed and helpless was her specialty. She merely shifted her weight a little gently lifting up her heel just a little before the gun on one of her heels suddenly went off finding it's mark in the shin of one of the soldiers. The soldier fell over in a gasping heap grabbing his leg in pain. Taking this singular moment of distraction she flipped forward onto her hands stretching out her legs she began firing the guns on her heels one after the other the bullets soaring through the air until the troopers backed up or fell to the ground dead. She spun on her hands before flipping back straight up. She reached for her guns grabbing the ones that were placed on her thighs. Taking aim she ran her tongue gently over her lips. "Such naughty soldiers."

The zombies continued to come but thanks to Nik's shadows, some of the Owls were able to "rest" and try and conserve energy. As they reached the outsides and Roulin pointed out the fact that there were missiles coming for them. Vincent wasn't dumb enough to think that he could stop a missile...a massive chunk of metal with God knows what kind of material inside of them. RUN!!! Was all that could run through his mind. Grabbing Demios and Erin, the teen began to run as fast as he could. Explosions could be heard as the shockwaves from explosions made some buildings shake and crumble.

Vincent found an abandoned jeep nearby. Though Vincent didn't have a license, he doubted that the police were in any position to actually try and stop him. "Get in the car you two...NOW!!!" he screamed as he waited on the duo. When they finally reached the car and hopped in, The Stopping Owl pressed the accelerator, blowing up any obstacle in his way as he drove for temporary "safety".

The "young" Amara looked out at the mass destruction that was happening. "Mommy...." she said in a child like the voice. The projection was real as the "real" Amara sat in a corner dribbling like an idiot. Evelynn walked over to the young Amara and began to run her fingers through her hair. "Amara you're a good girl, now let's play a game. You see...there are people here...that want to hurt Mommy and her friends...can you show them how not to be....BAD...dear?" she asked. Amara clung to her teddy bear. "Yes mommy" she said to her mother.

The young girl then stepped away from their post as she saw the different barrage of attacks in the distance. Closing her eyes, she scanned every mind that was in a thirty mile radius. "The heralds...here...." she said to herself. Taking off into the sky the young psychic began to mentally enhance anyone on The Fallen Phoenix's team, allowing them to access the full potential of their brains...giving them access the highest potential of whatever they're power may have been. Looking down, she could see Vincent, Demios and Erin, sending a powerful telekinetic blast, throwing the trio out of the jeep and crumbling the vehicle as if it was a a sprite can.

Aeon had been drinking...non stop and by now she was very intoxicated. Stumbling into the room where Serena was the projector looked at her with squinted eyes. "Merry ******** Christmas Sereeeennna" she dribbled. "I hads you a presssent" she said to her. "It's over thereeeee" she pointed as it was projected into existence, surprisingly, alcohol helped enhance her powers. "Now stopppp beinnnng a rgrrrummmpy buuuuneeh and enjjjjjoy" she said stumbling forward and falling into the ground.

Elle couldn't believe that so much was happening this fast. As the missiles came propelling towards them, Elle's head began to hurt. She was a technopath, she could stop this. Running forward her eyes glew a teal color as she tried to interfere the programming. One by one the missiles began to fall, not exploding, simply not malfunctioning anymore. Elle began to smile as she had finally did something "right" and not trying to hurt people...people who were like her. Falling to the ground she sighed heavily.

Activating Project O-05471110.... rang in Elle's mind. Her eyes began to glow once again. Unknown to her, her using her powers against the government funded weapons had triggered her primary programming...destroy all Owl life. Elle was now the weapon...the weapon that would help save humanity from the abominations that were constantly threatening their lives. As she rose into the air, a large fly object came around her, inserting various wires and plugs into the implants that covered Elle's body. She was only one half of the weapon but with her techno powers...she still proved to be sufficient.

Suddenly guns arose from the ground. Not basic hand guns but big guns...ones that were so big and powerful that they really don't exist in real life but due to Solaris lack of knowledge about guns and trying to create a real problem for everyone to face so nobody feels excluded, these guns can kick Owls asses. Some were filled with bullets, others lasers, some had concentrated negation bullets and others the syrium that would strip an Owls of their powers...out of all four the last one would be the more the pleasant. They began to fire at incredible speeds, as Elle's Artificial Intelligence began to calculate everything, possible moves, defense, weaknesses, thanks to a nifty database that the government had created with the profiles of quite a few Owls and different powers that may exist in the Owl universe. The fallen missiles were now reprogrammed with Elle's mind working the gears, so no reprogramming, or "shutting down" at all. The key to make all of this to stop was to kill her off...which at this point would not be easy.

"Lets see how those freaks fair out against Project O" one of the fighter pilots jeered as he flew around. New reporters tried to catch as much footage as they could of the events that were going down today, anyone who didn't had to be a fool, this would help launch their careers to new heights.

A plane could be seen as the hatch opened. Out of the hatch came shadowy figures that once you got upon it, looked like exact robotic copies of Elle and Erin. Assorted with different defense mechanisms and powers these weren't things you could easily short circuit. As if that weren't enough...Sibal units were being distributed amongst the streets. They had all the upgrades that the original Sibal did not...primary focus...eliminate all Owls.

The red haired maiden stood on the top of a building looking at all of the destruction that was going on. Owl against Owl...humans against Owls...Owls against humans....nothing had changed....maybe the celestials were right about this...about this planet...that humans...could not overcome differences. Owls...humans...they all had the same genetic makeup and yet they were hell bent on destroying each other. The Herald of Mind had done enough of sitting on the sidelines as she flew down from the building, willing to offer aide to the "baby" heralds. If they were on crowd control...Elle and the humans weren't going to make it easy.

Demios was glad to see Nik taking care of some of what they were fighting giving them a moment's reprieve. He took a moment to breathe before Vincent began dragging him around. "Well so much for the rest idea" Demios mumbled to himself as he noticed everything going on. He nodded to Vincent as he gave them the command to get in the car. He jumped into the passenger seat "I don't suppose you have a plan?" Demios asked Vincent. He wasn't sure how useful car would be in this situation, but he hoped it would be effective.

As Vincent drove Demios took a moment to catch his breath to try to feel the area around him and closed his eyes. He was hoping it'd give him an upper hand should he need to use his powers soon. There was a brief moment when Demios could swear he felt a familiar presence. It was one he had felt many times before, and yet it felt different. He opened his eyes after a moment "Amar..." he didn't even get to finish the name before he felt a sharp pressure and a loud crash as he was sent hurdling across the ground. "Vincent!" he yelled as he could only briefly see others go flying and then felt himself crash in to the ground and black out.

"...That couldn't have been Amara...and even if it was she wouldn't attack us" this was the internal monologue of the unconscious sorcerer. "There has to be some sort of mistake..." he continued. In his minds eye the owl was replaying what he felt and saw before and during the crash trying to capture what had happened. "Maybe we just weren't ready for this" he began to say. It was then he remembered the energy he felt and he knew this was no coincidence. "but why?" He asked himself. It was then he felt something almost like a voice but not it seemed to be warning him as if saying 'help...'

With a breath Demios awoke still somewhat disoriented. Fortunately with Demios's history being thrown around wasn't too big of a problem, but it didn't mean it didn't hurt. "Owch, well that hurt like a b***h"He complained before he began looking around momentarily and finding his glaive. He quickly crawled to it. Thankfully the magical energy in it prevented it from most forms of damage. Using his glaive for balance he surveyed the area finding the Jeep ridiculously totaled. Demios rushed over to it as best he could using his glaive as a balance. He looked it over for a moment trying to confirm his thoughts on what damaged it, and unfortunatly the damage appeared to be from some sort of impact. Demios could only assume it was of the non-physical variety. Meaning another Owl had attacked them. "Boy do I hope I'm wrong about this" he mumbled to himself. He looked around for a moment trying to find any of his teammates. It was then he noticed Vincent "Vincent your alright!" Demios said as he moved towards him still using his weapon. In an act of joy he dropped his weapon and hugged the younger owl. He then realized what he was doing and frowned "Oh, sorry I was just glad to see you aren't dead...however I believe that may have just been a warning shot" He said. It was dawning on him that with such a surprise attack they were either really luck or the attack wasn't meant to kill them.

As Vincent was thrown out of the jeep, he managed to stop himself with one free hand but couldn't focus and soon fell into the ground. "What in the ******** just happened?" he asked himself. It felt like they were in a collision with another vehicle and it hurt like hell. When Demios came towards him and gave him a hug the teen blushed. "...um it's okay" he said rubbing his head. "Good to see you're okay too....where's Erin?" he asked looking around for the blood manipulator. He was sure that she was fine though. Random bullets began to fly as a result of Elle's power but Vincent froze them in their tracks, making the area they were in temporarily safe until they regained motion.

"So you're still here" the young Amara said as she stepped forward holding her teddy bear. "My mommy says that you are here to hurt her and her friends...well...bye" she said as the earth began to rip from under them under the telekinetic pressure. Water pipes were broken releasing full force water blast towards the two. This of course was just to warn the two to leave while they had a chance...the more serious damage would happen within the depths of their mind....

Vincent was surprised to see a young blonde girl was the cause of their wreck. He didn't know how to react, should they fight a little girl...a little girl who clung to a teddy? And what sick parent would send their kid to fight for them? As the ground began to break apart and quake, Vincent extended his hands as he began to form crystal beneath him and Demios, as it began to tower a few feet into the air. As the water pipes broke apart and began to blast high pressured water began to come towards them, Vincent held his hands out, the water began to slow down but didn't completely stop.

"So I'm guessing she's who we're fighting" he said to Demios. "Get out of the way I can only hold this for so lo--" he said but his concentration was broken and the water hit him at full blast, sending him falling towards the ground. It had managed to crack a rib of his as his winced in pain. Maybe just maybe this little girl would be a problem.
