Rage was well on her way so Timothy had no need to tell her twice to get moving. She was already snaking along the ground as a broiling snake of shadow through the battlefield towards where the new Heralds were grouped together. However, the Herald of Mind's appearance made things all the more interesting. A mass of shadow swirled to life and suddenly created a massive tree trunk sized bat which swatted at Victoria to get her away from Timothy. At the same time, a blast of shadow shot up out of the ground underneath the younger heralds. It was the same type of splash that a boulder would have if it was dropped onto a lake...

Che's response sort of surprised Kate as she had expected him to say he didn't need help. She raised one eyebrow and looked up at him. He did have a point. From what she knew of Thomas Moses, he appeared to be a coward who hid behind the power of others. "Of course I will help if it is needed, Che."
'You needed only to ask.' Kate added in her thoughts. That was just before she noticed the flash of lightning across the sky. Timothy, of course. She didn't needed to even use her ability to figure out who it was. With a light sigh, Kate closed her eyes. "I think they will need the assistance more than you will, Che. The Satan Owl may just have to make himself useful for once in his life..." She stated simply.

Erin was only slightly surprised, but she was more worried, when she saw the clear dome absorb her attacks. A gasp escaped Erin as she hastily put up her own sphere of a barrier to protect herself from the snake like arms that Elle sent towards her. The telekinetic spikes from the ground were a different story though. They were absorbed by Erin's sphere just like her attack had been absorbed by Elle's barrier. Not only was Erin dealing with fighting her sister, but she had her own internal battle to keep the override programming from taking over and making her follow her sister's example to 'protect humanity'. 'I wish I could do something to stop this!' Erin thought to herself. But she wasn't about to give up, not on saving her sister. If talking wasn't going to bring her sister back, there was always the method of sheer force by fighting her and knocking her senseless. So that was the plan now. The Artistic Owl created branched out arms to batter Elle's barrier. Hopefully, with enough force, speed, and duration, Elle's barrier would falter and allow Erin to attack more directly.

A low growl of frustration escaped Anya when she heard what Cecilia said. The Poison Owl turned to glare at the gravity herald. "Cecilia, one of the Heralds is already here." Anya stated, backing up Daryle, Nik, and Moli's statements from before. Also, Tim suddenly dropping in (literally, I'm sure) only proved the point and threw Anya's frustration even further that she had to deal with her dad instead of helping her friends. Her frustration became clear in her tone. "I'm sure that you guys can hold your own ground until I catch up. 'Sides, this is a family issue for me..." Before Cecilia or anyone else decided to protest, Anya tugged on one of her invisible earth threads and both her figure and Johan's dissolved into dirt and ash. She should have seen that little confrontation coming from Cecilia or Nik really. Her body and Johan's reformed in a separate area far from where Tim would be attacking her friends. DC was still within viewing distance though.
Anya's little friends didn't have a clue did they? They had no idea what Anya was really capable of, which was the reason why Johan wanted her dead. Their interference was frustrating, but ever the stoic man, Johan kept his composure. When Timothy, the Herald of Electromagnetism appeared, Johan looked briefly in the male's direction before turning his gaze back towards his quarry. He knew he should report Tim's location back to Thomas. But he would do that after he'd finished off his daughter.
It wasn't long before he felt a strange dissolving sensation coming over his body starting at his feet. He looked down but he wasn't fast enough to see that he was being pulled through the earth to another location. He had no idea that Anya was now a Herald either. Now they were by themselves and they wouldn't have Anya's idiot friends to help her this time. When his vision returned to normal and reality, Johan didn't give Anya any time to prepare. He charged forward, drawing both of his blades and slashing from the right and up at Anya.
"Whoa! What the hell--!?" Anya cried out as she dodged to her left to avoid the swinging sword aimed for her. She winced as she felt the blade slash through the front of her shirt along her side. Her father obviously wasn't fooling around. He hadn't even given her any opportunity to ask him any questions. "What the ******** is your problem!?" But there was no time for any sort of thought or talk because her father was already pivoting and redirecting that one sword to swipe at her again. But this time Anya was more prepared. Using her threads, she summoned some vines from the ground to grab hold of Johan's ankles. This gave her enough time to jump backwards. However, she knew this didn't hold him for very long. She would have to come up with something more permanent. That could end up with her killing her own father in self-defense.
Even though his daughter's evasion tactics was annoying, Johan's expression only showed his resolve and determination to complete this task he had set for himself. He nearly fell flat on his face when the vines grabbed hold of his ankles and then soon began winding their way up his calves. It appeared that Anya had some new tricks. Where she learned them, Johan didn't care. He threw one sword towards Anya and used the other to slash the vines near the ground to free his legs. Once that was done, he was back on the offensive.
As the one sword flew towards her, Anya raised a wall of earth in front of her to keep it from striking her. The waving motion of her left arm caused a shooting pain from her shoulder. It was the terrible reminder that she hadn't had the time to remove the knife from earlier. However, Anya was used to fighting even when injured and knives and arrows were making her out to be a pincushion. She had fought with gunshot wounds before as well. Behind the wall provided the momentary safety and time she needed to yank the knife from her shoulder. She grimaced in pain. The safety of the wall provided her a quick reprieve from the assaults so she pulled the wall into a dome shape over herself for the time being. It would keep Johan out , but would allow air and light to filter in from a gap near the ground on one side. This would provide her the time she needed to think and plan her next move and also the time to inspect the more serious wound to her side. Putting a hand there, she could feel the blood on her hand. This was not going to be good.
Johan had to stop when Anya put up a shield. He frowned and his eyes narrowed. "It's useless, Anya." he said aloud. "Just give up." He began slowly circling around the dome, watching the shield to see if it would lower or offer an opening he could use.
"Why should I listen to you!? You're trying to kill me!" Anya's voice shouted back out. "This is about Berlin, isn't it? That wasn't my fault! I was provoked, and lost control of my powers..."
Johan's frown deepened as his daughter began throwing out excuses for the mass murder she had committed. "I don't think you understand. Even if you are my own flesh and blood, I cannot forgive, nor let an incident go unpunished." And that was when the shield was brought down by Johan himself when he raised a hand and sent a massive blast of energy at it. The force of it 'shattered' the dome as if a land mine exploded, throwing Anya's body rolling along the ground. It must have been painful with her injuries but that didn't matter so much to Johan. When the dust cleared, Johan approached his daughter who was forcing herself to her hands and knees to try to get back on her feet. However, Johan got close enough while she was focused on that so that he was able to step heavily down onto her back and pin her to the ground. He watched his daughter struggle underneath his foot to try to get free. Fortunately for Johan, her hands were trapped in an awkward position underneath her to the point where she couldn't use whatever new tricks she had against him. He pointed his remaining sword, the other having been blown off of the dome in the explosion, at the back of Anya's neck. "You are a menace and a danger to both Owl and humankind alike, and must be eliminated."

Demios smiled a bit as Vincent left the battle, he secretly hoped the kid was smart enough to find safety before things got bad, and besides now that he didn't have to worry about Vincent he didn't have to hold back against Amara either. However, that moments distraction proved to be ill timed. He began to feel pain as his birds suffered and was then struck by a katana. He could feel his mind become partially impaired before he was sent flying back from the kick and hit by a few telekinetic pulses before finally being smashed into the ground. Demios's body was in both shock and pain as his mind suffered. He weakly reached to pull himself up. He had several cuts and bruises as well as a few broken bones he was sure. "Heh, is that all you've got" Demios weakly said not sure how much more he could take. He looked at Amara and held his hand forward "You always were a b***h" He said before coughing and falling onto his knees. He then was hit by her penance stare and began to not only feel the pain of the people he killed, but he watched what had happened. His eyes gained a distant look as he kneeled there.
Each death, each being that suffered because of him, each soul screaming for vengeance. He could feel it all in a way it was not only pain, but it was a loss of sanity. His body began to form cuts and bruises as well as beginning to bleed. "So this is what it feels like to die" Demios said to himself. He could see and feel the many people he had murdered since his birth. His being while physically in front of Amara was floating in his soul space. The pain had reach a point of being so intense his body couldn't handle it. He eventually reach the point where he lost control of the raven and vaporized an entire village of people. It was at this point he noticed something, it was like a seal inside his soul space. It radiated a powerful dark aura and it seemed to be taking a huge amount of magical force to maintain. However, before he could react to it he let out a scream as he felt another surge of pain. He looked around and saw the many souls of the dead surrounding him. "Stop it..." He said as they began to attack him. "Stop it please..." He continued to plead as he could feel himself dying. Soon they began to converge onto him and overwhelming him. He then could hear familiar voices one of Armand, another of Genya, and soon he could hear his other friends as well. "Thats right..." managed to weakly say. He was beginning to remember that granted he had killed a lot of people in his life time each one was for a purpose. It was all for the sake of important people. He then herd a familiar voice "Don't give up..." the voice said. "Death is part of the cycle of eternity, and you can't dwell on your past mistakes" it said again. Demios tried to recognize the voice but it had been so long since he had herd it that he couldn't remember who it was. "For all the evils you have done, there have also been many goods as well...the universe thrives on balances like this...now its time for you to stop crying and fight" The voice said as it grew faint. It was then Demios herd Amara's voice, it seemed to be suffering and screaming for help. "Amara?" He said as his body was racked with pain again. She let out another scream "Amara!" Demios yelled. He began to see the deaths again, but this time he remembered why he had done it all. He closed his eyes and focused "No I won't give up, I can't" He said. He could feel a stronger energy flow through himself now. "I said stop!" He yelled as an extreamly powerful burst of energy radiated from him destroying the spirits and effectively ending the penance stare. In the distance before he began to return to his body he noticed in the distance was his grandmother, she was the voice he had herd. He smiled a bit feeling better knowing she was watching over him.
Back in the physical world Demios's body began to have ripples of a black aura flash around it forming into a dome slowly until Demios broke free of Amara's ability releasing a powerful energy pulse from his body. He managed to stand albeit a bit shaky. He held his hand out forming the glaive to his hand. "I may be a murderer, but I will not let you send me to the afterlife..." He said. He glared at Amara "You may be a powerful psion, but you messed with the wrong witch!" Demios said his voice seeming to radiate hate. He held his glaive high "I call forth the guardian forces, souls of the planets hear my call" He began chanting as he did the ground around them began to shake and the buildings cracked. "Come unto me and lend me thine power, give me thine wrath, and let me vanquish all in my path" Demios continued chanting. As he did so mystical symbols began appearing around them each representing different forces and different deities. Next his grandmothers book materialized in front of him its body glowing as mystic symbols appeared all over it, even the words in the book glowed as it flipped through its vast number of pages. He knew now the only way to help the true Amara was to eliminate this copy and find whoever held the real one. The sleeves of his outfit tore apart and the symbols engraved themselves into Demios's body. After that the material and knowledge from the book as well as the powers of the glaive began to become drawn into Demios. He was now calling on what was considered forbidden magic, its powers far more destructive than any known to even the most practiced of mystics, and its sacrifice far more dire, and unfortunately calling forth mystical energy of this magnitude and using ones self as the conduit was risky and its consequences unpredictable. Once the spell finished Demios's eyes and the symbols engraved into his body had an ethereal glow and if one were to look plants nearby began to wither, and the very mana radiated from around Demios was being drawn to him, needless to say where he stood would quickly become a wasteland. He glared at Amara now that his spell was over "You want to see pain little girl?" He asked in a dark tone. Demios had one goal, and it would be hard not to lose himself to the magic he called upon. "Lets see how you like paying for what you've done" He said. He waved his and then made a capturing gesture "Keepers of fate, masters of Karma, open the past and release your wrath, bond of destiny!" He chanted. After he finished several waves of mana rushed towards Amara ready to make her experience what she had forced Demios to experience. Only this teenaged Amara would suffer for all that the real Amara had done as well as what the phoenix had done.

Amara wasn't phased by the names Demios had called her. She had no feelings honestly. As he recovered and said his spell she could tell that her end was coming soon. When he said a spell that was similar to her mental techniques she watched as she could see all the murders Amara had committed in her lifetime. As cuts and burns covered her flesh, she looked lifelessly at Demios. "Nice trick. Though it would have benefited you better if I actually had emotion" she told him before her body began to break, Ripping in half, the younger Amara shattered and dispersed into pure psychic energy.
Amara's body jerked heavily as blood began to seep from her mouth. Evelynn walking over to Amara began to "read" everything that had happened. Sedating her daughter even further and unlocking all barriers placed on her mind Evelynn stood back. Amara then stood up, with lifeless eyes took out her thieves blades. The blonde then telekineticly teleported in front of Demios. Studying him she said nothing...not that she didn't want to...she was incapable of doing so. Twirling her blades, she ran towards Demios, leaping into the air attempting to kick him in the back of his head as she focused on the ground using her telekinesis on a molecular level, changing the once solid ground into a shifty liquid form sucking the mystic owl downwards. Throwing one of her blades it would act like a boomerang hopefully to pierce Demios.
The machine looked at Erin as she branched out arms attempting to break her barrier. The barrier shattering for the moment, large guns appeared out of the machine Elle was possesed by. Hundreds of bullets were showered towards the Artistic Owl. Elle wanted to fight back but she was useless...if Erin could kill her...then she could be at peace and never have to worry about something like this again. Releasing several beams of pure energy from cannons, they pierced the ground around Erin herself, with enough force to punch a hole through a building. If it was to hit Erin...then who could guess the outcome of that. Humans who worked for the government watched the battles of the machines killing the various owls from their headquarters, highfiving and cheering that the menace were being dealt with accordingly.

As Lucien's wires began to pass through the melted body of Roulin he instantly changed up the song, no longer was he playing the melody of attack. Instantly the wires at his fingertips changed, as did his posture. No longer was he sitting on the bench at a piano. Lucien stood now eyes still closed. The strings which had been keys on a piano flew upward now taking the place of a literal stringed instrument. Lucien held out his hands gently touching the surface of the razor wires the tips of his fingers covered in an extremely thin layer of negation, but then again so were the wires that he used. Sliding his fingers along the surface of the different strings he produced the sound of not only a violin, but an entire string orchestra instead of a piano, the defensive measure was his now. Instantly Lucien's hands went to work igniting the strings in a symphony of it's own. "Vivaldi Winter." He whispered as he began playing a new song. The intense quick motion of his playing the intricacy with which he manipulated the strings around him, so elegant in it's precision Death was displaying his true talents, escaping this world's limitations he was proving to be a combination that was worthy of the title.
As the metal pieces reached his direction first the razor wires acted differently. In a flawless wave like motion the razor wires spiraled towards the metal pieces, forming more intricate versions of the weaves Lucien had used earlier to block Roulin's concussive blasts. as the metal rammed into the wires cutting a few of them, but thanks to their negation lining most were spared. As the metal objects stopped they as well became pieces of Lucien's symphony. Gripping the metal objects, the lampposts, and spires with telekinesis he began tapping them against the ground in a sort of rhythmic tempo but this was not merely to create pretty noise. He was using his sound manipulation to his advantage with each beat of the metal they echoed Lucien used these echoes to distort the sound of the area, he was going to destroy Roulin's hearing, sense he could not hope to touch his sight.
Truly Lucien had never fought in such a way, this display of refined composure, the way his head moved back and forth with every note and key he played, the way his fingers caressed the strings long enough to produce sound to control the other razor wires. The world around him was no longer present, he wasn't an Owl fighting in a war, he was merely one with his powers, one with his element. He was Death, the next step in the road of existence, the doorway which lead to a higher plane of existence. He finally understood this now, his powers were not corrosive and lethal, they were just as life giving as Roulin's just simply in a different fashion. A small smile spread across Lucien's face as he continued to orchestrate the songs of defense. As the boulders rushed towards him Lucien had to focus, with metal objects they were sharp yes but small. As the wires formed layer after layer of weave they prepared for the attack.
As the boulders collided with the weaves they held much like a Kevlar withstands a bullet's might but bends temporarily to it's strength. Lucien drew this performance down, in the defense of the conductor some of his instruments had been broken, the boulders had left their marks on his orchestra. He reached out feeling which members still remained and which had performed their last. Eyes still closed he started the next song, this one far less intricate, one most people would recognize. Moonlight Sonata Returning his orchestra to a singular instrument, the piano, once more he let the strings which had snapped or shredded in Roulin's assault fall to the ground, they had performed beautifully. "Moonlight Sonata." Playing this song he was waiting, patient, the soft haunting melody as if in mourning, not for his fallen instruments but for this very city, for the people in it who had left this world. As the Owl of Death he felt the responsibility for their care now.

The mystic owl watched as his spell had its desired affect on the teenaged Amara. He frowned at the way she was destroyed, it wasn't a pretty sight, but he had hoped that would be the end of it. However, in a few seconds another Amara appeared only this one seemed to be more of a puppet than the others. Before he had time to examine it any further this Amara had attacked him and sent him underground. As one of her blades flew at him Demios held his arm up and got it stuck in his arm. Granted it was painful it gave him something he could use, an item of Amara's. He then focused and the ground rippled as Demios used his new found level of magical ability to manipulate the ground he was sucked into. He now stood across from Amara and ripped the blade from his arm. What trickled down his arm and onto the ground was not blood, but a mix of mana and aether. The moment it touched the ground life appeared there. Demios smirked and waved his hand over the wound sealing it. "Well this is a surprise, Amara the present, it sure has been one hell of a trip down memory lane" He said. He spun her blade in his hand momentarily before holding it firmly. "Did you know that there was an ancient belief that ones possessions had a direct connection to their being?" He asked. He smirked knowing he wouldn't get an answer "Its one of the basis for voodoo, you know" he said. He waved his free hand over the blade and it glowed. "Can you feel it Amara? The magical energy that ties you and this blade?" He said. He then spun it again before stabbing it into his arm "and now we are bonded...mind...body...and soul!" He said as there was a pulse of magical energy that allowed Demios to enter her mind temporarily. While they were bonded the two of them also were covered by a mystical shield that sealed both of them.
Demios was caught a bit off guard to find himself actually in the mind of Amara. He could tell something was off like something else was there aside from Amara. Unfortunately Demios's form inside Amara's mind was that of the normal Demios and due to being in another form of reality his magical abilities would be unpredictable and possible consequences. As he tried to navigate Amara's mind he couldn't help, but hope there was an Amara to find here. "Amara!" Demios called hoping to hear her respond.

Cecilia had not needed Anya's glaring eyes and tone to inform her that the elder Heralds had arrived. The blue crackle of lightning that had almost turned Nik into a rather burnt fried meal and destroyed his headphones was proof enough of this. She noted Nik's rage when they were destroyed for his headphones could be seen as a different version of Ash's hat from Pokemon. He never went into battle without them. Well, it seemed he would have to get a new pair unless he had an extra pair hidden somewhere wihin that swanky suit of his.
Cecilia's eyes fell forward as she gazed at Timothy. She was about to open her mouth to tell Victoria to ******** off with the motivational speech, but it seemed someone was attempting to beat her to it as a massive bat the size of a tree trunk of shadows swung at the Mind Herald. Still, before she had time to react, out of the corner of her eye, a large shadow the size of a boulder shot up from the ground in attempts to strike the ragtag group of fledgling Heralds.
The Gravity Herald jumped back, her body bending itself into a flip as the shadowy boulder narrowly missed her. The Herald of Darkness had made her appearance. Sydney...or Rage as she was often called now. The Herald was a shell of her former self now having lost all other emotion as was witnessed when she, Roulin, Nik, Anya, and Demios had visited Azarath, the world within Sydney's psyche.

Amara looked into Demios' eyes as he spoke. When he entered her mind it would be described as mixture of a lot of things. Many doors, corridors, various scenery, some that looked pleasant, others that was gruesome and fearful. Images of the people she cared about flashed into the sky. Things levitated on their on and the mind seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. A large structure however stood erect in the center, and at the top lay chained Amara.
Psionic fire guarded her as she looked weakly at Demios. She was surprised that he was able to penetrate her mind. "...D...Demios?" she said as she struggled to sit up. "How did you get in here?" she asked him confused. The shackles couldn't be destroyed by conventional means. The psion was heavily guarded. Looking at the Mystic Owl images of him began to circulate through the sky.
As the shadowy bat attempted to hit Victoria, her fiery aura clashed with it, resulting in an explosion sending a shockwave in both directions. Regardless of how the others viewed her she was the most experienced out of the group she was in. Looking at Rage her eyes narrowed. Looking at a string of light poles Victoria quickly ripped them from the ground as they circled Sydney's body. She knew the crafty shadow master wouldn't go down easy but neither would she. "Cecilia can you increase the gravity to slow Rage and Tim down a little?" she asked. As the light poles wires wrapped around Rage's body, she sent a large amount of force towards Rage attempting to throw her into Timothy and cause an electric shock of some kind. It was worth a shot, at least until the others joined in the fight.

Demios was slightly in awe of how vast Amara's mind was, but then again he supposed that was one of the perks of being a psion. He continued to walk a bit watching as the sky flashed with images of people. He brought his view down only to the the structure that held Amara. He frowned as he saw how she was bound "Amara!" he yelled in a panic. He was about to use his powers when he remembered the location. He didn't want to risk endangering Amara or alerting whoever was controlling the body of his presence. It was then she noticed him. He smiled at her glad to see she could manage to speak "You know me I'm full of surprises" Demios said not wanting to worry her with details of what he went through. "Don't worry Amara I'll get you out of there" He said although he wasn't sure how. He knew how powerful psionic fire was in the physical reality, inside her mind well it could be infinitely more dangerous. "I'm going to need your help though, this is your mind can you think of anything that'll help?" He asked. He paused to look at the sky as images of him began to fill the sky. He knew he didn't have much time so he began to run closer to Amara hoping maybe he could think of something.

Amara looked at Demios weekly, it was nice that he wanted to help her but Amara remembered from a long time ago, that a non psychic outside force could do anything in the mind of a psychic. If she couldn't fight her mother off, how could Demios be able to accomplish this feat? The psychic fire was draining her. "You should really get out of here Demios....before...before she senses you" she told him weakly. "I can only hide you in here for so long" she told him weakly. "I'm no longer in control of my mind...this...manifestation you're seeing of me is my consciousness....that's it....everything else is a construct of an outside...augh!!!" she screamed as her strength was being drained. She was weakening and she couldn't ensure that Demios would be safe in the depths of her mind.

Demios frowned as he got closer, he was beginning to feel the heat from the flames and knew getting any closer was risky business. He looked up at her knowing she didn't think he stood a chance. "I'm not leaving without you, I'm not going to risk losing you just because some Owl has issues with you" He said. He stepped a little closer, but the flames grew slightly and sent him flying back. He landed with a painful crash, but managed to only have minor injuries. There weren't many options for the two of them at that moment "Don't waste your energy hiding me, just focus on protecting yourself" Demios said. When she said what he saw was her consciousness he knew he didn't have much time but before he could react she let out a scream. "Amara!" He yelled. He knew he had to act now "Well I guess I don't have much choice" He said. He held his hands forward "Northern winds, and frozen age lend me your powers" He chanted. The area around him began to warp as he tried to use magic. However, being as he was in her mind mana wasn't really accessible so it appeared his powers were trying to alter the minds reality around him. He had to focus or become lost in a fake reality. He held his hands close as a symbol appeared "Di...diamond.....Dust!" He shouted. Suddenly a large blast of ice, wind, and frost shot from his hands and flew at the psionic flames. As his spell finished Demios fell to his knees. It appeared that as well as manipulating reality it drained energy from him by using his mental form as a conduit for the spell.

The teenage stopping owl continued to travel until he saw something in the distance in a building. He then decided to explore. Crawling up the wreckage, he used his young athletic body to climb the vast distance. Soon he was at the top to see two elder Owls. Sebastian and Evelynn. Looking at the two he figured they were fallen phoenix members. Extending his palms he froze the two in place. Amara looked at Demios as his attack was executed. Colliding with her mental prowess it exploded making the terrain shifty and unstable. To Amara's surprise her consciousness had been set free, not from Demios' attack but the fact that Evelynn was in stasis gave her mind back to her. Forcing both her and Demios out of her mind she opened her physical eyes looking at him while gasping for air. The psion looked at the mage in front of her and down at the ground. Looking towards the skyline she knew what she had to do but she had to heal. Amara was now at the peak of her power, well for her age and experience that is. Focusing her energy she began to regenerate her cells telekineticly.
"We have to find my mother....and kill her" she said to Demios in an exhausted tone.
It was only a matter of time before the omnipath regained control of her body. Looking at the teenager she knew exactly who he was. "So you're the student of Amara's...Vincent" she said with a coy smile. "Little boys shouldn't go snooping where they don't belong" she said as she began to use her mental abilities on Vincent. Every negative thought that Evelynn picked up on, she began to implant into the teenagers mind. He would soon begin to react to the thoughts and images in hid mind.
Vincent began to grab his head. It was way more intense than what he had felt with Amara. Horrifying visions were playing out in front of him. Thrusting his palms forward he began to make things explode around Sebastian and Evelynn. The teen had lost all sense of reality.
Sebastian just barely missed an attack as he looked at the teen. Using his probability ability his hands glew a blue color before surrounding the french teen. His powers should have weakened greatly.
Vincent began to run around swinging in mid-air trying to defeat the horrible images he was perceiving at the moment. Thrusting his palms forward once more he began to try and crystalize the images, but instead crystal began to cover the young teens forarms and crept slowly across his body. He couldn't tell though due to Evelynn's psychic torture and continued to to focus his powers.
Soon all of his body with the exception of his head and his hands was crystalized. Focusing his power once more he thrusted his palms forward as the crystal began to crack slowly. His powers weren't weakened but instead had reversed on him. The crystal began to slowly crack and soon began to spread quicker until the crystal body of Vincent shattered in thousands of pieces, leaving nothing but crystalized carnage where he was staying. The teen's head falling to the ground below alongside of his hands was all that was left. Thanks to fate via Radiance's contract....Vincent was now dead...

Demios frowned as he tried to regain the energy to stand, but between the spell and its repercussions it was nearly impossible. However, before he knew it Amara was freed, but before he could even speak to Amara the both of them were brought back to reality. As they awoke Demios's shields vanished. It took him a moment to collect himself, and he was relieved to see Amara had seemingly come to her senses. He could hear how tired she was and had to admit he was pretty wiped too, but he knew they had a bigger fight ahead of them and couldn't afford to waste time. He was about to walk towards her when he went slightly pale and began coughing until he coughed up blood. He looked at Amara and frowned "Side effect of forbidden magic, the user suffers dire consequences" He said. He managed to compose himself and even rip her blade from his body. "Here you'll want this" He said giving it to her and sealing the wound. It was then he felt a dark chill and nearly fell over from it. He looked at Amara "Alright, lets hurry" He said as he stood ready to follow Amara and face her mother.

((Will))
Delightful. The scene was the ever familiar one of chaos and destruction to the Satan Owl as he, Che, and Kate flew over the city. There had been worse times and better times. This was just in between. Perhaps, there was a chance of something getting amusing or exciting enough. The devil smirked as Timoithy visually gave up his location by flashing across the sky. Rage was no doubt with him, and she showed herself too by the fledgling Heralds.
William DeScythe simply watched and observed as Che and Kate bantered with Kate throwing more attempted insults at Will, insults that were as effective as throwing a piece of paper at a cement building, hoping it would blow up. The devil looked at Che as the Mastering Owl asked him to help out on the Herald situation and …patted him on the head. ”Don’t let your guard down. Kate, make sure he doesn’t. It’s a lazy bad habit of his. Just look at those drooping eyes of his. And Che, don't be smug just because we finally found some people that sing worse than you do.” Will was of course referring to the human sirens. With a swift smack at the back of Che’s head, the Satan Owl veered off toward the Heralds. He smirked. It seemed Victoria had decided to try to help out.
Alas, Will could sense a damsel in distress, the damsel that wore an engagement ring he had given her. She wasn’t with the other Heralds. Actually, he had sensed her move away , and he knew exactly where she was. She simply could not die right now. So, the devil veered off again and bolted through the sky toward Anya and Johan. The fledgling Heralds and Victoria should be able to hold off fine for a few moments against Tim and Syd without his help. If they couldn’t, they were failures, the whole lot of them; failures and a useless prop by the name of Victoria.
Ah…. Will could see Johan holding the sword by Anya’s neck now. He dove down even as the sword advanced toward Anya’s neck. But the Satan Owl smirked as that sword’s blade simply vaporized with a hint of black lightning before the blade could run Anya through. In another moment, a hand closed and clenched around Johan’s neck and dragged him a few steps away from Anya. “ Menace? How rude, and here I thought I was a menace. Ah, Anya dear, seems your father doesn’t think so.”

The physical appearance of Rage beside Timothy hadn't happened yet, but judging from the shadowy tree trunk that swatted Victoria like a fly, she was somewhere in the general vicinity. He noticed the shadow water below their feet and quickly formed a plate of shadow under the group. It wasn't pretty, but it would protect them from the geyser of shadow. The geyser pushed up and the plate went up a few feet, but Nik pushed down on it, slamming the plate back down on the ground. Rage would have to try a bit harder than that to take them out. Concentrating on keeping the plate on the ground, Nik manipulated the edges of the shadow plate and latched it onto the ground, effectively plugging up the geyser. Satisfied with his work, and noticing Victoria going to town on Tim, Nik decided to join in on the beating. Bringing up a shadow double from the ground right next to him, not stupid enough to get into a direct fight with a herald, Nik sent his doppelganger to attack Tim. The Shadow-Nik pulled out a scythe and jumped in to help Victoria, swinging the scythe at Tim's head while moving around behind the herald.

Catching the blade that Demios tossed her, Amara secured it on her hip and began to walk. She still had to conserve some energy. Her mother wouldn't be a pushover....not if she was able to render Amara into a vegetable. As they continued to walk she could sense her parents. "Demios, I hope you're prepared" she said grabbing a hold of her weapons. As she stepped forwards she felt a thud against her foot. Looking down, she saw the head of her protege Vincent. What in the hell? she asked herself. The blonde closed her eyes...how many people would she lose to this stupid war? Was she supposed to take death lightly like she had in the past? Was this really her reality? He was just a kid and because of her, he was now dead.
"You biiiitttcchhhhhhh!!!!!" she screamed as a large telekinetic wave was released upon the building her mother and father were in, ripping it from it's foundation and breaking it down piece by piece. Her anger had taken over and her mother would pay...dearly with her life.
"She's here" Evelynn said as she and her husband lept from the building and landed safely onto the ground. Looking at Demios and Amara she shook her head. "So I'm assuming you're upset dear? He was just a useless kid who walked into an adult's war" she said scoffing Vincent's existence. "I see you're here with your little witch friend, and what do you two plan on doing? Fighting the two of us?" she asked with a chuckle. Sebastian stood near his wife not saying a word, he would prove defense if anything was needed of him.
Focusing her mental energy she began to scan the deep psyche of both Amara and Demios until she found something of promise. Using a technique she had learned in her thirties called the Darkside View. With this ability two physical manifestations of Amara and Demios stood in front of her. They were comprised of every wrong and evil doing the two had ever done in their life. They would be faster and stronger than the original two and would provide entertainment for Evelynn. "Let's see how you two faire out with this" she said running her fingers through her hair.
