Byako Moonbase ~The RP~

[Sou Jara]

Raising off the ground as the pole reels her upwards, Lutia puts away her mana gun and draws her curved dagger in the same instant. Swinging around to avoid the legs as she raised upward, Lutia slashed at the strange mechanations leg with the unnaturally sharp blade.

The dagger shears into the metal, but seemed to have a hard time passing though. The drone struggles in it clamp. It was unable to reach Lutia.

Pulling out the dagger, Lutia sputs it away and grabs the drones leg. Wielding it, Lutia effortlessly bends it upwards until the machine gun was pressed against the drones body.

The drone shudders violently before exploding engulfing Lutia in the blast. Moment's later the defense turrents, which had held their fire when she in close proximity to the drone open up again into the fire ball spraying it with more energy bursts.

Lutia swung the line back and forth and a few seconds before the drone went off the mawer let go, making Record swing through the air towards the turrets.

Casting the line again before she landed, the mawer latched onto the gun of one of the turrets, pulling her towards it. As the laser fire started again, Lutia drew her shroom lance. Hitting the bottom of one of the caps, the entire lance pushed outward into the form of a multi walled shield as Lutia drew closer.

The high intenstiy rounds impact the sheild, but the sheild wouldn't hold for very long. Things get even more complicated when more turrents slide ou fo the celeing on her right side.

Nearly reaching the turrets, Lutia notices the additional turrets above her and swings around to get between them and the ones ahead of her in the hopes that they would either cease fire or destroy one another.

Just as she suspected the turrents halt their attack when they place each other in a crossfire. The turrets though had all the exits from the hangar covered.

Covering the distance to one of the turrets at the far end, Lutia aimed it at one of the other turrents and attempted to find a means of making it fire at the other defenses.

That didn't seem to be part of their programming. The turrents slowly track her every movement. Whenever she step out of a possiable crossfire, A turrent would open up then stopped when she re-entered one.

Having some suspicions over the means they were using to track her, Lutia drew her chomp pole and a flame whip. Casting the mawer out at the open space between the turret she was on and one of the ones on the ceiling, giving the secondary turret a clear shot.

At the same time Lutia snapped the fire whip in a random direction, curious as to the results.

One of the turrets immediatly opens up on the mawler, while they seem to ignore the fire whip. It would seem they used some other sort of technology other than heat seeking or motion senseing.

Pulling back in the line so the Mawer would remain unharmed, Lutia decided to try another aproach. Aiming the mana gun stright at the barrel of one of the other turrets, Lutia fired.

The turrent takes the blow relativily unscatheed. It didn't return fire. Whatever was controlling the turrents, seemed to be pretty advanced.
