Summon Sphere ~The RP~

[Faulty Ambition]

Afos watched Xi and Viva's antics with a soft smirk, most of his focus going into summoning what appeared to be a star a great distance away. He still retained enough of his attention to note the boy staring at him. He flicked his fingers and the boy would find himself surrounded by darting lightning elementals, zapping him whenever he showed an opening.

Neon eyes turend red Neon jumped at Afos he spotted a bolt of lighting chaseing him he span around pushed his left hand aginst the bolt "This attack, it's worthless ... is that all you got"

Chase smiled to himself as he noticed Xi and Viva's entrance. It was help most open-heartedly welcomed.
Taking the opportunity as the Chimera was off of his back, Chase made his way to the slimes that were burning through to the summon sphere, hacking his way through the steel monsters with his ribbon whip. Even if he did not kill them, the ribbon served as the chance to slip by them as he seemed to disappear after each hit and appear behind the steel monsters.
Once he got close enough, Chase whipped out the blue-tinted katana.
"Mizutori!"
He called, slashing in the general direction of the slimes. A burst of water emmitted from the blade and, in form of a bird-like creature, flew up the sides of the Summon Sphere and assaulted the slimes, overwhelming them with torrents of water which seemed to flow neverending from it's body.

With that combined attack the Chimera was destroyed but Shroud merely laughed. "I Wont Fall So Easily This Time!" Gathering his power, Shroud called forth a manticore to replaced the fallen chimera. It rivaled his last summon in sheer size.
Gathering itself, the manticore launched skyward towards Xi.

The slimes fell off of the summon sphere and began to swell in size from the torrent of water. As they increased in mass the acidic solution diluted in them however, sapping them of their substance eating ability. In retaliation the slimes bobbed towards Chase to take their revenge.

Xi grabs her scythe form her back and swings it out front. A powerful gust of razor sharp wind blast in front of her lauching her back up and attacking the Manticore at the same time.

Meanwhile Viva begins charging another shot.

Chase called back Mizutori. The water bird obeyed without delay, diving headlong back into the katana blade and spraying water everywhere which made Chase cringe as he got wet from the act.

Getting wet was unfortunately not part of his plan that Chase executed anyway despite the effects that would follow. As the slimes advanced, the distance between Chase and the Summon Sphere began to drop in temperature more rapidly than before. Once again, Chase retrieved another violet glowing card-two thsi time- which immediately shriveled apart in his hands and formed a pair of wrist blades made of ice upon his wrists. Not waiting for the slimes to gain anymore ground, he swung his arm towards them, blasts of icy wind sickling towards them.

Either the slimes would freeze from the drop of temperature or face Chase.

"Hm! This will require more force than I thought!"

The large mystery man drew a symbol with his finger in the air and then clenched his fist. He placed his open palm against the ground and closed his eyes.

A moment later, he let out another bellow and pulled his hand straight up.

With a loud rumble, and a louder bang, several spires of earth blasted forth from the crater in an outward thrust. Stones and dirt formed spikes that grew to hundreds of feet long in seconds.

Chuckling at Neon, Afos unleashed a wide blast of energy, a shockwave of light and power.
"You couldn't comprehend the surface of my power, child."

As he spoke, the lightning elementals he had sent towards the beam cannon Viva was charging reached their target. They rested inside the barrel of the gun, absorbing the energy before the gun could turn it into a workable second shot and using that energy to multiply.

Neon looks at Afos he pressed his hand aginst the ground " Sanzengarasu ultimate barrier defence" Neon standing on top of the gaint wall he smirked "perhaps you couldnt comprehend mine"

The army of slimes advanced on Chase, encountering the freezing temperature head on. s they began to freeze, the closest of them rose up and fell upon Chase as it became one big block of ice.

The manticore caught the scythe in its teeth and clamped down, attempting to shatter it.

Unfortuntly for the Manticore its teeth wouldn't be able to break the Ancient Master weapon so easily. Placing her hand on the manticore's snout, Xi vaulted up and attempted to stab the summons between the eyes with a kunai.


Viva frowns. He press a finger up against one of the crystal lines on the cannon. It unravels into thousand of fine metal and crystal threads before forming into a small cube. Pocketing the cube, he swing Sol'fer'luna over his shoulder and though the lighting elementals. The Isolonium blade glowing brightly as the weapon absorbs the elementals.

Viva levels the blade, pointed the tip at Shroud. The absorbed energy, now amplified, fires form the weapon as a thin, highly concentrated beam.

((I'm going on the absumption that the lighting elementals are energy based lifeform if they are not then i will correct my post.))

Chase jerked away from the trance of his --as it was noticable by his movements-- dance that turned the area and teh slimes to ice. Immediately he took out the ribbon whip, with barely enough time as the hidden blade could only slice teh frozen slime in half.
However, one part of the massive block of ice hit Chase square on the head. Using what mentality he could summon after that jolt, Chase cast a spell and disappeared only to show once more in a slightly different spot, a good distance opposite to where the slimes were trying advance.
He still had the ice-wristblades, and stood patiently waiting for the slimes to notice his disappearance as he held his head.

The beam shot from Viva's blade arced tremendously, missing Shroud completely before coming back at the Summon Sphere.

Afos continued to focus as the bright spots in the sky grew larger.

((excuse me faulty, but umm how do you suppose that you can change the direction of viva's attack. Last time i checked Afos didn't have any powers to affect motion....))

((The lightning elementals were composed of energy and willpower. From what I gathered, Viva's blade converted the energy from them into the beam he fired. Since energy can neither be created nor destroyed and the will is tied directly to the enrgy forming them, the beam created from the elementals would still obey Afo's will. Unless, of course, you have some reason as to how Viva has the incredibly godlike power of not only decimating the law of conservation of energy but also tainting summons.))
