i love playing...but enough is enough we have 5 songs for my org. preformens. 4 songs for my piano resital, 1 duet peice for solo esemble and i'm accompaining 2 of my friends for solo esemble...

For my Vocal Jury I am preparing Sacred Raptures Cheer my Breast by Handel and Monostatos's Aria by Mozart.
For my Piano Jury I have Minuet in G minor by Bach, Serenade by Gurlitt, and Arabesque by Burgmuller

fOR CELLO - 2 fIDDLE Tunes, A Motzart Peice ( I cant spell it), A Bach, and this Celtic Dreams piece + this Bavarian Rhapsody peice.
For Trumpet- John william's Blockbusters ( E.T , Harry Potter and Star Wars) a sort of overture from West Side Story.

On trumpet, I've got the first movement of Halsey Stevens' trumpet sonata under my belt. I still need to work on the second and third movements. For next year's solo and ensemble, I'm hoping to play Carnival of Venice. =D

On my own I am currently working on: Mozart's second Concerto in D Major (well, polishing it for an audition on Tuesday) The Stars and Stripes Forever-Sousa (on piccolo) Carnival of Venice-Briccialdi
And on top of that, I'm in the pit for the summer production of Hello Dolly! I'm playing the Violin 1 part on flute.
Our marching band is doing Gladiator.

My orchestra is still playing 2nd grade stuff. The only thing(s) remotely classical we're playing is The Barber of Seville and the Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera.

rite now scince its summer im practicing and reviewing the music sheets from my orchestra class. i have klike a million sheet music for the cello and violin cuz i play both of them biggrin
