cartoon cuz anime is way too strange, there is a million types of anime: action, drama, confusion, japan, china,often random, etc etc.... and pluse... you should root for cartoons because at least you know that it wont be something in a differant languge.

Subtitled anime. To me, anime has a broader selection (subject matter and age range) than the cartoons offered today... there's one for just about everything! Though, older cartoons can be pretty awesome, anime just wins out. I usually prefer sub over dub, because a lot of dubs are... eh... not very good. Though Cowboy Bebop and Hellsing Ultimate I can only watch dubbed! xD

I watch Anime most of the time, story, fight scenes, plot twists, love triangles, deep moral values, etc.
But if I just want some good old-fashion slaptick comedy, I tune in to Cartoons.
