poem 1:

letters start with ABC
numbers start with 123
songs start with DO-RE-MI
but love starts with you and me


poem 2:

if kisses were rain drops,
I'd send you showers,
if hugs were seconds,
I'd send you hours,
if smiles were water,
I'd send you the sea,
if love was a person,
I'd send you me.

poem 3:

if your asking if i need you
the answer is forever
if your asking if i'll leave you
the answer is never
if your asking what i value
the answer is you
if your asking if i love you
the answer is i do

Hmm...looks like the wedding got to you guys...congrats! I guess I'll just go ahead and put my other poems up here, and the judges can pick the one they like best for the contest. This one's a bit more emo...but here's the other one:

A Spirit to Fly

Take me higher
Far above the nighttime.
I'm a spirit
Floating wild and free.
I'm a memory
In the hearts
Of lonely people:
A mirror image
Of what they all could be.
I have no choice,
This is my fate;
I'm a restless soul
Born too late.
Admired by none,
Cured by all
Who impatiently wait
For the spirit to fall.
But, I've been here
Since the birth of time.
I give no reason,
I make no rhyme.
I'm a testament to
Lovers who cheat and lie.

I've got more, but they're extremely emo (for me, at least...), so I'm not so sure I wanna enter them. They're in my journal if you wanna read them, though...*cringes at the thought*

sleepless night

As the train flew by with its mournful howls,
I sit here in dark waiting,
I force myself awake as far as my body allows,
Trying to endure my body's aching.
For as the wind beats down my windows,
And dark beats down my door,
All I hear are the letters of the rows,
This wait I can't take no more.
Three minutes til four in the morning I see,
When is it you'll come home to me?
Here I sit longing to hear you voice,
But five a.m. approaches soon,
And then I will have no choice,
For school I must attend til 2 hrs pass noon.
I really hope you sign on soon.

i love him that much... every part of my body hurts right now..

i wish he were on to make it better cuz in an hour or so i forced to go to school X_x

If we had a story contest, I'd most definately enter my P.O.C.N.I.P. (Piece Of Crap Novel In Progress)...but it sucks. And like Sori said, it's not like I'd have a shortage of poetry. I have a ton that's not in my journal on here...but they're the mega-personal ones. I don't even think that Sori has seen them.

i have a story too but it's got a major turning point right now and i don't have an antagonist in mind i need too get my writers block a knife so he can cut through my subconscious and get out of my head along with stupidity and clumsiness oh and my teen hormones too because that dance is killing me
