In real life I prefer Facism over Democracy (It gets things done, unlike those bumbling Democracies), but even I respect freedom to have fun.

The way I see it, every successful guild is a fascist state in it's own right, and those that fail where the others succeeded had tried to utilize the democratic process.

It's funny: I hate Commies, and yet I wrote up the Communist Guild Manifesto. o_O Weird, eh?

Eh, it's a little funny.

Commies? They have a good idea it theory, but it will never work. A combination of Capitalist and Socialist ideas, leaning a little towards Socialism, seems to work the best.

on the more Current Topic of the relationship between order and fun, which has somehow run it's way into Politics, an Excerpt from my Philosophy thread in the General discussion subforum. The original topic is "Chaos", but the excerpt is still relevant.

Controlled Chaos has two possible outcomes:
Good
Bad

When it comes out Good, it's because very little Significant Events are occurring.
EG, a Sleepover. 4 guys, Halo Galore, laughs all around.
Loud Voices, trash here and there, Jokes about someone's mother, etc...
Good times to be had by all.

Moral to the Story: Controlled Chaos is best for Fun!
Controlled, but Free Government is Best for Fun!

As for what we should do, Maybe Start small with a few guilds from the Primary 3 categories. Once we get settled in and Functioning, we begin to expand to include the larger Guilds. Once we seem to reach our Operating Limit, we stop. As for Gold, I'll contribute everything I have to this. Sadly, that's less than 5k, but that's still enough for 3 subforums.

In addition to Subforums for Guild types, we might find it constructive to create another Subforum for Grievancesand Aggressions for Guilds, against other Guilds. Set up specific Guidelines, etc... We'll keep any Wars organized and Recorded. Not only that, but that'll give the Guilds a chance to gain Allies in the war. It'll help to keep things Fair.

What will you do to improve the guild: Mainly focus on the graphical area side of things.

I think we already have enough crew, but I guess more won't hurt..

For now, I'll keep you on a list of reserved crew until we get bigger or in case one of our crew has quit gaia, isn't able to log on for a long period of time, has been inactive for a long time or has abused their powers.

Plus, I haven't known you long and haven't gotten to know you or study you yet, stick around for a bit. =)
