Mario 64: Good game or Best game?

In terms of the Mario universe, personally, I prefer Paper Mario. Though I've always had a thing for Super Mario World and Yoshi's Story.
I'm currently playing the DS remake of Mario 64. . .Mind you, I am F o R c I n G myself to do so. I've always thought it far from being one of the best, though its not a bad game. Very buggy; but then again, so were many other 64 games that I'd personally play over many of the new gens *cough Conkers*.

Welcome to the Cult. There are only 120 stars in SM64, but in the DS remake there are 150.

O.o Really? They added 30 more stars to the remake? I didn't know that! I thought it was an exact copy, except you could play as Wario, Luigi, and Yoshi.

What the hell is your problem? it's a great game, but you're saying it's undisputedly the best, but it's only arguably the best! People like you make me so angry!

It is a great game and its definately in my like top 5, but best? i dunno bout that. But this game is the game that made me fall in love with video games.

But 64 is definitely epic :3
