New wave. The 80s were awesome. Probably. I wasn't alive, but I like what came from the decade. I like everything from synthpop to goth rock and post-punk and experimental stuff!
Film scores, musicals, comedy songs, geek rock, noise, dark cabaret, ska, psychobilly, punk, weirdness. All good. I have a pretty scattered taste - there's only a few bands I really, really like (e.g. Oingo Boingo, DEVO) - the rest is whatever last.fm spews up.

Man, You should have been here when we had the 80's party at the end of Spring. I spent a month putting together a playlist for everyone to listen to while we hang out (no one showed up anyways emo ) And I listened to so many 80's songs that month, I started dressing a little 80's-ish and wondering why everyone's hair looked flat. sweatdrop

To listen to the songs, I was using YouTube and watching the original music videos and I'm a bit scarred for life by a couple O_O I was never the same after DEVO. . . . . . (Whip It)

Also, AHA made an AMAZING vid for Take On Me (an even awesome-er song), while searching for vids, I found Jonahs Bros. made a remake of it. . . . . . . . AWFUL! THEY FREAKING BUTCHERED IT!

WHAT'S THAT ABOUT WHIP IT NOW?

I'd love to have 80's hair. It's my ultimate life goal. Well, actually, my life goal is to be on the animation team for a Tim Burton stop motion film. Maybe I can have both.

Take on Me is AMAZING. Have you seen the literal version of the video? It's ROFLtastic.

I'll look up the Jonas Brothers' version later. It's too early in the morning to start vomiting.
