Hmm...I've failed on the one a day thing, no matter, I shall attempt to press on.
Basic Opinion/What You Answered in the Poll: Mixed Feelings
Rating of Favoriteness: Not even going to bother, he's low down there though, sorry. He only definitely beats Noa, Anzu, Honda, Serenity, Isis, Weevil, Grandpa, Kisara, Rebecca and a few others but too tired to try and remember names right now. But all of said others are sporadic and random minor characters.
Why You Hold That Opinion: I went with mixed feelings, though I initially was going to put dislike. I don't think my feelings are that negative, but they are slightly more dipped towards negative than putting neutral would imply. In short he gets on my nerves. Yes he's got all these great attributes, and he understands things, and he tries hard and blah blah blah. Boring! I tend to not like main characters - in this case Yuugi isn't an exception. I wouldn't change them, just like Harry Potter, whom I also don't like (but wouldn't change in the slightest - I'm perfectly content with the dislikeable way he is). Yuugi (like Harry) has a bit of a hero complex (not quite as angst-fueled though). I generally don't like the guy who feels he needs to save the world. I mean if you end up saving the world that's great but missions tend to put me off.
One thing I do like though, he does evolve as a character, more than his other half (whom I much prefer) ever does (which is a bit of a downer). Overall though, he just doesn't interest me much and he is childish and gets on my nerves. Not worthy of hating him over, but I just can't love or even like him. I think I also can't be neutral because (as the main character) he is just too present. I think I'm going to wrap this up here, I'm tired...I'll add more tomorrow if I feel more needs to be said.
Favorite Characters to Pair With: I don't like him enough to pair him with anyone. I guess Anzu is fine, Jou maybe.

Oh, well you were doing well, and you're almost caught up now. XD;;
As I was reading your response, I sat there trying to think of a good way to understand exactly what you were saying, and when you mentioned Harry Potter, suddenly I got it completely. XD I agree with you completely on Harry Potter: Don't like him too much, though I don't hate him, yet I would never change him as a character, or make anyone the main character besides him. So I get what you're saying about Yuugi. And how can I even argue that? XD The reasons you don't care for Yuugi are exactly the reasons I like him (what he lacks in originality or interest he makes up for in his sweet and caring personality for me, which really only makes him more boring for other people), so I don't think there's any disagreement on Yuugi as a character, but just in how we interpret that character. But I can live with you not caring for him. I love the little guy, and I am honestly surprised at how few people in this guild like him, but that just means I get more Yuugi adorableness to myself. <3

Yea sorry, I just don't find him interesting enough. Although the whole "I'll just kill myself" battle with Jou - I did rather love that. I'm a sucker for self-sacrifice ^_~.
