Elzingaiv I also liked Kon because sometimes you need comic relief from a talking tiger plushie XD #214 lion plushie lol. I just wish he had a better role, he was a lot cooler when he first was introduced (post#236: Tyrogue)

I think he gets a filler episode later on, but yea he gets marginalized later on like many peripheral characters in shows. #234

It's hard to write for the side characters if they don't do much to advance story...even if it's in the manga people start to yell "Filler" when the story gets forgotten for a few issues. #256

Elzingaiv It's hard to write for the side characters if they don't do much to advance story...even if it's in the manga people start to yell "Filler" when the story gets forgotten for a few issues. #256 Kind of like in Yugioh where they stray from Marik/Kabia's Tournament story arc, and side stepped into a Noah VR world fight for your bodies Arc. I think that's about the time I stopped watching, but it sounds like a valid example...another would be the Dungeon Dice monsters storyarc feeling abit out of place. But I know it's in the manga, it recieves a better storyarc there btw. #276

I thought it was cool in the manga because they ended up on the dungeon dice board as playable characters...it seemed like a tabletop game, and I <3 those.

I thought it was cool in the manga because they ended up on the dungeon dice board as playable characters...it seemed like a tabletop game, and I <3 those. #289 I still can't believe out of all the games that came about inthe manga, Dual Monster became the biggest hit and turned into a huge card game franchise that is still going and is the main focus of the animes, and somehow in the yugioh world the game is going strong and many people treat dualing like a career and it has many of the attitudes professional nasscar has, especially in 5Ds. Once they had an academy for it I couldn't really watch anymore...that's silly even by anime standards. I know people who take card games seriously, they play every friday at the comicshop...but even they have to go to a real school each day. #308

yeah that is pretty dumb, especially since the lead character of GX fused with a female monster.
Now we need to get back on topic in this thread lol
let see, Oh who here misses seeing Ichigo's inner Zenpakto. He was so cool, even if he reminded me of the bad guy from the Cowboy Bebop movie lol. (post#332: Cacturne)
