Everything to Lose-Everything to Gain (Accepting)

[Zahzi]

Omazige watched the event unfold above him before they landed 20 feet away.
"...Oh this is getting better..." he said, looking at the creature before him.

The Demon was beyond dead...Crushed to death.

Normally, he would have just walked away, but something was telling him to stay there...

If it were possible for Hael to have any expression in her form, it would have been smirking right now. Releasing what was left of the demon, she shook her head, growling lowly as she upset by the blood covering her hands as her tongue snaked out, wrapping around the demon before dragging itself and the demon back into her mouth. She gave a disgruntled grunt as the demon tasted worse than she had imagined. But she could smell something else.
Large brown eyes then turned and glared at Omazige, the mouth opening slightly as the tongue slinked out from the sides. Maybe he'd prove to be a better meal.

Omazige looked up at her with absolutely no fear in his expression. He put the claymore back on his back and cracked his knuckles. He wasn't here for blood. That wouldn't stop him from getting some amusement from a fight...He hadn't had a good one in at lest two years.
"You want a better meal, little one? You're going to have to earn it..." he said, cracking the joints in his neck.

A low growl rumbled from Hael after his challenge. She wasn't sure what to make of him in this state. No one else had ever stood their ground before her. Except for the dead. Closing her mouth and slipping her tongue back into her mouth, Hael's hand shot out and grabbed onto Omazige, squeezing on him like she had done with the previous demon.

Omazige didn't resist being grabbed. Mainly because the armor wasn't even being bent or folded from the force. Omazige grabbed onto the edges of her hands and began to push them off, slowly releasing himself from her grasp.
"You're going to have to try harder!" he yelled, jumping onto her hand and hopping from the wrist, to the elbow, all the way up to the shoulder without problem.

Hael snarled, quickly snatching him off her shoulder before throwing him far away from herself. If it were possible, she would have smirked again seeing the trail of broken bushes and trees made left by her throw and the loud thud that echoed from the crator she made with his body. He has to be dead now, she thought. Or at least beaten up enough she could get him down her throat without much of a fight.

It was silent for a moment before the sound of heavy boots running came into range. Omazige then came from the dust and jumped from the rubble, to the branches, and from the treetops until he was just above her. He then raised both arms and brought both fists together before ramming them down onto Hael's forehead with enough force to shatter a boulder.

There was a large noise, almost like an explosion had happened. A small crack had opened on Hael's forehead right where Omazige had hit her. Compared to the size of her body, it practically looked like nothing, but it hurt more than anything imaginable. She then let out another deafening roar, louder than the last one as she swung her hand at him, swatting him away like a fly with the back of her hand. She then lowered herself down, her back still visible above the treetops for anyone tall enough to see. Nothing had broken through the hard skin on the beast before, so not only was she in unbarable pain as the flesh beneath the naturally grown armor had been touched before, screaming in pain, but Hael was also now confused. She knew the halfa was strong, but not that strong.

The beast gritted it's teeth together, frustrated it was stuck inside the girl. It knew it's time was up. It's short five minutes of freedom were up.

Hael growled again, rubbing her forehead as her size began to shrink. She could tell now this was going to be a wonderful headache come morning..
And just as quickly as she had transformed, she was already back to being the girl she normally was, out cold with a small scratch on her forehead.

Omazige let out a groan, rubbing the back of his head. He had been swatted into the side of a rocky cliff, leaving a human-sized crater where he was.

He then jumped out and walked over to where the girl was.
"...So, looks like she ran out of energy or something..." he said as he looked down at her. He then looked at the sky, noticing how it had become nightfall now. It was far too late to send her back to the village now.

He then gently picked her up from the ground before walking towards his house. Guess he'll have company tonight.

When he entered the house, he plopped her on the bed before walking over to where his equipment was always stored. Once it was all placed back in order, he just stared at the chestplate, as if in a staring contest...

Hael woke up with a groan about half an hour later. Quietly, she rolled out of the bed, holding a hand up to her head as she shuffled her feet around the house. Seemed like the whole house been redecorated... This place was WAY to big for her tiny a** room...
Her eyes widened, breif flashbacks coming to her as she remembered the psychotic homicidal elder halfa coming after her, being snatched by a demon, then everything turning black from then on out... She then remembered where she was, having been in the place once before. Slowly, she turned around, staring at the other halfa wide eyed. First he talks to his armor then he has staring contests with it?! He really was psychotic.  

[Zahzi]

"...Awake now, huh?" Omazige asked, not looking away from the armor.

"You were snatched by a stray demon before you changed your form and killed. Unlucky me for you to think I was an enemy..." he said, lightly touched the back of his head. A pained expression came when he pulled his hand back.

"But, unlucky for you at the same time." he said, finally looking over at her and directly at her forehead.

Hael fidgeted around uncomfortably, keeping her gaze down as he spoke. She knew what was going to happen next. If the psycho didn't kill her he'd give her some other lecture about she's a horrible monster and blah blah blah. She's heard it all by now. The words meant nothing.
She looked up at him, confused. Where the Hell was the pointless lecture..? And why was he staring at her..?
"...Is there something on my face..?" She asked, wiping her hands across her face, trying to get off whatever he was staring at.  

[Zahzi]

Omazige gave a smirk, watching her try to get what was on her face.
"When you attacked me, I had to fight back of course...Not with my blade though." he said, turning the chair to face her.

"....Kinda had to brain you..."

Hae just stared at him, still clearly confused before something starting make the cut on her forehead sting and burn. She groaned, rubbing her forehead trying to wipe off whatever mess was on it to hurt so much when she blinked. ..She had a scratch there..? She didn't remember seeing it this morning, and Richard didn't beat her until it was night anyway. Besides, this was to sloppy of him, leaving evidence on her forehead.
"...So... you... did this..?" She asked slowly, pointing to the scratch. "...But... I thought nothing could hurt me when I went Black..."

"Oh, but I'm not a human." Omazige said, pointing in the air and giving a closed-eyed smile.

"...Your transformation didn't seem to last very long...Five minutes at most..."
