Donovan suddenly turned around a corner and walked into a large kitchen. There were three people in there, all cooking or cleaning. They all looked up and bowed when they spotted Donovan and Elizabeth. Donovan grinned and looked back at Elizabeth. "Just tell them what you want and they'll make it for you," he told her.

Elizabeth looked at the servents. She wasn't all that fond of being waited on and to suddenly been done so was, well weird. "Um, I guess any kind of soup would be fine, I don't care for what." she said. She sat down on a counter and kicked her legs out of boredom.

The cooks immediately got on it... after they decided which kind of soup to make. Donovan stood beside her, watching her intently. He didn't say anything and his expression was hard to decipher. It was no longer than dark amusement he usually carried, nor was it anger which was a close second. He seemed... lost in thought.

Elizabeth's eyes that were watching the cooks suddenly wondered to Donovan. She watched his expression carefully, but she had never been good at what people were expressing on there face. Instead she looked him in the eyes. She had a thing for figuring out what people were feeling from their eyes. She did not see anger or amusement anylonger in his eyes, but it was a more of a dazed sort of look. The sudden smell of the soup getting started caused her to look away from him and back to the cooks. She placed her arms behind her on the counter as she leaned back. Her jacket slipped from her shoulders to her elbows, showing off her sun kissed arms and neck.

Donovan didn't look away when Elizabeth caught him staring. He just continued to watch her. He didn't move at all, literally. He didn't blink or breathe. If she hadn't known any better, she might have mistaken him for a statue. Finally, his eyes moved. When her jacket slid down, his gaze drifted over her beautiful tanned skin. He could feel his mouth start watering already.

Elizabeth's head rose slightly as she sniffed the air as she tried to figure out what the cooks were making. Her chest rose as she toke in another large intake of breath and a smile fluttered across her lips. It was her favorite, beef soup. She opened her closed eyes and she watched the cooks rustle around as they hurried to finish her food. As she shifted on the counter, her jacket fell to her wrists, but she ignored the tickling sensation against her arm. She tilted her head to the side as she looked around the rest of the kitchen, causing her neck to strain slightly, showing her neck off even more.

A quiet growl came erupted from Donovan's throat, but it wasn't an angry or aggressive growl. It was more of a sensual growl. She really was tempting him. The cooks seemed to notice this as they sent him nervous glances. It was no secret that Donovan always got what he wanted, one way or another. He inhaled deeply, ignoring the strong scent of beef stew and focusing on the luscious scent of her blood and flesh.

Elizabeth heard the low growl and so she took a glance at Donovan. Her dark blue eyes watching his every move. She hade to reamember that she was with a vampire, not a human. She sighed and she leaned further back on the counter resting the top of her back against the wall, her cream shirt slidding slightly up to show of a carmal stomach underneath it. She closed her eyes and she laid her hands lightly against her chest, her ponytail loosing lightly, causing more of her black hair ro spill over her shoulders.

Donovan finally moved back into motion, gritting his teeth. She really was a tease, most likely an unintended tease, but a tease none the less. He leaned forward, his lips brushing against her ear. "You really are tempting me," he whispered, his voice husky.

Eizabeth sqeaked and jumped slightly. She glanced over at him with a smirk. "Oh how do you mean, I am simply laying here." she said with an innocent look upon her face. She turned slightly on the counter and looked at him in the face with a little smile. "I don't like to be surrounded can you back away from me."

Donovan grinned darkly when she jumped, and at her naivety. He smirked at her but didn't reply. He opened his mouth to say something but one of the cooks interrupted him. "Sir, I think you should listen to her," he said. Donovan shot a deadly glare at him. "I-It's just that Master Theo wouldn't be very happy with you invading his fiancee's personal space."

"Yea, you wouldn't want to upset my dear Theo now would you?" she asked as she slid off the counter and she pushed her jacket back up to its rightful postion on her, covering most of her skin back up. She turned and walked toward the servents and she looked into the pot and smelled the soup. She licked her lips. "You all have out done yourselves. It smells wonderful." she said to the servents.

Donovan let out a deep growl, no longer sensual, but angry. His dark blue eyes followed Elizabeth. "Thank you milady," the head cook said. Donovan kept his eyes locked on Elizabeth. He would get her one way or another. "Donovan!" "Uh oh." His anger dissolved as Theo stormed down the hall and into the kitchen, his hands balled into fists and his jaw clenched. "Hello dear brother. I see you finally caught up."

Elizabeth smiled gently at the cheif. "Your welcome." her attention was then drawn to the kitchen door as Theo entered. She noticed that Theo seemed really angry. "Theo, Donovan was just showing me the kitchen, he has done nothing wrong." she said turned her attention back to the soup. At least the servents eat well here, the cooks were well organized and such. She was no head cheif, but she knew her way around the kitchen so she knew a few things. She could tell that the soup was close to being done, her stomach growled in agreement.

Both males ignored Elizabeth. Theo let out a deep growl, Donovan reciprocating. Both tensed and leaned forward, knees bent. They had never looked more alike. "Hey!" They both turned to glare at the head chef. "If you're going to fight, do it outside." Theo and Donovan continued to glare at each other but they did, surprisingly, take it outside the kitchen.
