@Nightfure - HAHA, YAY I GET ARRESTED!! I mean oh noes!!! Hehe rofl
I like to quote it, I like parts of it, but a lot of it is just too dry for my humor tastes. I do appreciate it's merit though.
Study Ancient Greek, it'll do little to improve your spelling, but it will vastly improve your grammar skills. In English you do not have to understand parts of speech and the like in order to use it, in Greek you REALLY do.

@JK: I didn't know that English majors worshiped Monty Python. XD That always seemed more programming majors to me (all my programming friends were the ones who kept trying to get me to watch it). But I agree; it's just kind of dry and boring. I did like the coconuts being used as horse galloping though. XD And I love Charlie the Unicorn. Definitely not boring to me, but as Nightfure says, to each their own.

Well Monty Python is kind of the pinnacle of English social dialogue as adapted for modern times - capturing a mode of almost being timeless. However *yawn*.
As for Charlie I remember my friends going on and on about it forever, so when I finally watched it I was like, wtf? That's it? But yea it's wonderful to quote. However the sequel is just lame, I'm sorry, and that I can't even say is fun to quote.

Fair enough. XD Though I do like the original Charlie better, I still enjoyed the sequels, especially with the starfish that loved Charlie...

Well I've only seen the first sequel, and I only saw it once. It did raise my appreciation for Charlie (the original) though, in being completely unentertaining. By the way totally random but I'm inflicting this one everyone, it's horribly animated and ridiculous and completely stuck in my head (and be warned, the heads of everyone I have inflicted it upon): http://www.shutupwomangetonmyhorse.com/Muwhaha!! Sorry I'm being ridiculous..........sooooooo tired rofl

Basic Opinion/What You Answered in the Poll: Mixed feelings... it depends on what 'Kura we're talking about. Ryou- like Yami- like Thief King- love Why You Hold That Opinion: I think Thief King is my fave because he just is. I don't really know why but he just is.... maybe it's because I have a thing for orphans and children with tragic pasts. If Thief King was still a wittle one I would be his new mommy and I would raise him to not be a little psycho... but then he wouldn't be himself.... Favorite Characters to Pair With: themselves & Mairk Rating of Favoriteness:Thief King is in my top 5 and Ryou in my top 7

@JK: WTF woman? XD That was utterly ridiculous, and I somehow cannot imagine how this is more entertaining to you than Charlie the Unicorn. But it's stuck in my head too now. gonk
@Ghost: This thread is about Yami no Bakura and Thief King. XD Bakura Ryou will be covered in another thread. That's adorable how much you care for Thief King though.

Oops, I must have misunderstood the first post then, sorry.
And as for caring about Thief King, orphans and children without mothers tug at my heart strings. They tend to be my faves~ Seto and Mokuba, Thief King, Kenshin, Enzan(he's not an orphan but he is mommy-less and his father is an a-hole)... the list goes on...

No worries. XD I have a soft spot for orphans as well, maybe not as much as you, but ever since I learned about Sailor Jupiter's family history, I've tended to be fond of characters who have lost parents or are in difficult familial situations.

It's not that I look at who is an orphan or hasn't a mother, it's coincidental, for the most part really... but in RL I do have a major soft spot for orphans.... I want to be one of those people who run an orphanage or takes in orphans from time to time.

@Kits - MUWHAHAHA! It is definitely way more retarded, but it is short and catchy so I guess it just ingrains itself better. Haha, sorry it's stuck in your head *not really sorry at all!!!* rofl
@Ghost and Kits - I think Disney ruined the whole feeling for orphans thing for me. When you're a kid and pretty much live on movies in which mom, dad or both are dead at the start or getting killed off halfway through you get a little desensitized to the plight of the lonely child ^_~. I have a thing for abused characters though, I'm just twisted like that I suppose ~_~. Characters that have no parents don't do it for me, not based on just that anyhow. Characters that are beaten and/or raped by their parents (or other should have been trusted figures) however, usually end up being the top of my list. I just love tortured souls.

@Ghost: Yeah, I think I'm the same, where I tend to pick favorite characters, find out their family history, then am all, "Awww... I love them so much..."
@JK: It's out of my head now though, and I cannot recall the song any longer, so I am glad. XD I can see how Disney would've ruined that. I guess for me though, I was desensitized to the whole Disney orphans thing, but the way anime would do it... it was just so much more interesting, deep, and sad, so while orphans in Disney movies don't reach out to me so much usually, anime ones do. But I am also very fond of characters abused by their parents. I mean, Jounouchi and Kaiba? C'mon. I know it's not necessarily canon that Jounouchi is brutally beaten/raped by his dad, but there is definitely some abuse there, at least according to the manga.

Ooooh! I don't think I answered Kitsune's question from forever ago... But in the manga, TK was TK, and was never possessed by anyone... he was just a tool, or a "cog in the wheel" as Akunadin put it razz
Yay! Ghost posted!
ORPHANS!!!! I love them sooooooo gonk though I usually don't care about their past until after I've read/watched a series... but whatevs 4laugh
@Ghost: We're talking about, *mainly*, Yami no Bakura... this thread's also about TK Bakura, but I'm debating that the anime gave him no individual character, while the manga was all him XD
@Kitsune: I was watching season 5 of Yuugiou in subs/anime, and I was confused after the fifth episode DX But I'll still watch it! And then I can understand what you ellude to half the time XD

@Kits - yea, I think also in part I've had issues with my parents - particularly my dad - a lot growing up. So I guess I had a hard time feeling for someone just because they didn't have parents, because parents aren't that great? I mean I love my mom to pieces, but my family really leaves a lot to be desired often. Given that characters displaying the downside to having parents appeal to me - and luckily I can't relate to them, at least so far as physical abuse goes.
So yes, def love for Kaiba and Jou on that - be it explicit canon or mere implication. I can feel it...^_^

@Nightfure: Oh yeah. XD that does sound familiar, what you refer to, but I really should reread the Egypt Arc, so I understand your allusions as well. XD But either way, because I already put the two in the same thread, and we've already talked about them both in this thread, I don't think I'm gonna give TK his own, sorry. ^^;; I love the subbed anime. <3 The subtitles are amazingly horrid.
@JK: I'm sorry to hear you had issues with your dad, but I'm glad there was no abuse. D: That's an interesting way to look at it though. I love both my parents tons, and would be difficult to have grown up without them, so maybe that's why I sympathize with orphans a little more? Heehee, but I know, right, with the implications? I seriously was all happy and giddy when I first saw the scene of Jounouchi's father throwing an alcohol bottle at Yuugi, Anzu, and Honda. XD How horrible is that?
