Keeskee Orphie When I start listening to one of my favorite songs and then someone starts trying to talk to me. If you wanted to talk to me, why didn't you say something BEFORE I put my headphones in? And don't keep talking to me if I keep restarting the song and keep putting my headphones in. Amending this to include obnoxious people who take one of your earbuds out to talk to you. But its rude to be in company trying to talk and be using earbuds.

None of us are rude enough that when we're hanging with friends are whatever we'll have earphones on; I'm talking about acquaintances from class or work doing this when you're trying to walk home or on break/between classes. If you're not really close to someone, you have absolutely no right to touch that person in any other way than a tap for attention, let alone something as presumptious as plucking their earphone from their ear.
And believe it or not, people do it.

Other than that, I only do it to my cousin when she's not paying attention.
