Okay. So I understand from owning a guild that Gold donated Directly to the Guild can only increase Sub Forums (which seem lacking a bit. Due to the lengthy main forum) or they can go towards Guild Announcements. I personally haven't donated to the guild. (shame on me) At This point it wouldn't be much help.
But I am concerned about the usage of the Guilds funds. I can understand being bored and sending out pointless random uses of X amount of gold it takes to send these pointless messages. I feel that this really isn't a good use of Guild funds even if they are stuck in the guild's bank.
It is my opinion that Boo could come out with a Daily/Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly/Annual Newsletter of sorts. Things to include would be:
Contests that just opened
Contests that are closing this week
Guild High lights
Guild Activities (maybe zOMG events, Maybe Town events, Maybe Other etc events)
Guild Spotlights on members, Crew, Etc
New Subforums?
New this/that
Old this/that
maybe news about what's been happening in the guild with members/ crew etc.
Point being. You need to be responsible with funds even if there "is nothing other to do with funds except spam announce messages without a message" due to a crew member's sheer boredom.
Please have some accountability. Do something useful with the funds then squandering them all and then needing them down the line and needing people to donate. I'm pretty sure that people might regret donating in the future if their gold is going to be spent the way it is being spent now.
That's my opinion, suggestions to a solutions and request of the crew.

Nightmare Pumpkin Knight Cloud_Murasama i believe that teh saviour is just trying 2 keep it a little intresting here in this guild with the random announcements that i do. 3nodding I believe that is true as well cause most of the time pure randomness will bring a few smiles that much is true but... it tends 2 annoy other people that it does. ((ps. im talkin as a certain anime manslayer)

For one, the crew cant do sheit about this, we got no control with the announcements, only cleaning up the nonsense in the forums. Two, I see your point, but thats not how this guild is. This guild is a place for people to have fun, it isnt necessarily a very formal guild. The captians and crew like to have fun here, although what you said is true about spending funds wisely.
But there is a sheit-ton of money in the guild account right now haha, could last us for quite a long time without the need to donate more. So its not a big deal if Teh Savior sends random announcements, because it doesnt take that much time to click out of it, and he has the money to spend. lmao >.<
@iiMimi: You need to calm down right quick. Like i said, its just a little msg, it dont take 5 years to click out of the damn thing. Open a can of Man-Up and get over it.

We can squander it for months doing whatever the hell we wanted and be perfectly ok xD And I'm pretty sure almost none of it was donated. Lintra and Craig, among a few other members who donated a tiny bit, are the only ones who donated decent amounts
So quit worrying. We're not wasting your gold, we're wasting our own. :3

I agree with Teh Savior that Crew can send announcements like the Captain and Vice Captain and are all of you complaning bout nothing. I mean come on have you look at the dang gold this Guild has so I can see a point in the announcements Teh Savior send out and I should know how that fells since I'm either a Vice Captain or a Crew and I'm also a Captain of my own guild and it can get boreing.

Yes I did keep in mind that There is enough gold in the account to last well in to 2012 and the last days on Earth as we know it (kidding) XD Even still. There are more resourceful and better suiting ways to use this gold that is worth the total gross margin of a small third world country that no one has heard of. xD I didn't actually look into who donated the most but i could find that out if i really wanted to know X.x As stated before and I am glad I did because I must say thank you for a little bit of sillyness mixed in with business. That pretty much seems the way to go, due to it informs people with a real message but conveys the friendly sillyness that the crew wants, i actually learned about current contests and etc if This just wasn't a mule account xD doesn't mean I couldn't still participate but I do participate in guild forums with pretty good posts i hope razz *insert your speculation here*@iamnotlistening.org So in summary. I agree that the crew could annoy the guild with every little mindless...OOOO SHINY!!....thought that crosses their mind and still have enough to go around. I still personally feel that it would annoy the guild and increase the declination of membership. Oh my. xDD Must be Captain and VP only? sucks. But also did you consider that there has already been an announcement sent and the 24 hr's inbetween the 2 announcements has not been achieved? idk. i'll have to check that one out on my main with the guild to which this is the mule and mascot for XD
