Cavern of the Oracle

[Doctor Corn]

Alex calmly watched as the roaring fire shot at him. He closed his eyes, concentrating hard, and created a vacuum of air that sucked the fire headed at him into it, making it dissapate. The dragon had gone crazy, and needed to be put in it's place. no more time to gawk at this beast, thought Alex as he stood up and readied for battle. If this madness was to stop, he would have to at least get into a fight with this massive creature.

Fluffy roared once again. Alex was in a threatening state. It seemed that he would have to fight both Itazuki and Alex. Fluffy charged forward, its massive weight causing debris to fall from the air, except as soon as it fell, it lit aflame, becoming flaming boulders flying towards Alex. The beast growled, and a rancid flame began to grow in its throat. It got larger, and as it showed its teeth, the flames were obviously growing. It showed through his teeth, illuminating the cave with a bright light. Alex had two options.

• RUN
• DIE

Fluffy shot the flames forward, chucking to himself, before directing himself back to Itazuki.

Tatsuya stopped coming towards Fluffy when the strange man jumped on his head. "Dumb a**." He slowly turned his gaze towards the man who had landed on the dragon's head. The dragon began hoarding the women and protecting them. He deftly jumped back away from the dragon, sliding back a bit as he landed. He looked around him for some of the men that were about to be attacked and saw the man he had told to move when he first came in.
"Don't." Tatsuya sprinted towards Alex, grabbed him by the waist and vaulted towards the ceiling. Extending his arm towards the ceiling, the claws from his gauntlet stuck into the rock and held. "Why provoke it further? It has no real issue with us, it's not our battle to fight, let the dumb a** get killed if fate wills it." It was odd that he had mentioned fate, since he was a plaything of fate, thanks to the gods who had created him.

Seeing the flaming rocks falling down at him, Alex jammed Kozuchi Ozuchi into the ground, using it like a elevator to send him sliding across the ground. He had narrowly avoided the rocks, but noticed a typhoon of flames once again streaking down at him. Leaping forward, he spun and drove his hammer ahead of him, lengthening the head to about the size of a computer monitor. Using his wind element and his hammer, he created a drill of wind, beginning to slice through the flames. However, at the last moment the flames caused a loss of momentum which sent him to the floor. He had broken through, but a remnant of flame had set his right foot on fire. He muttered a few choice swear words, he put the fire out and got back on his feet. Well, I certantly won't be doing that again thought Alex as he began to hobble toward fluffy. It was at this point that Tatsuya grabbed him by the waist and yanked him to the top of the cave.

Another interference. Fluffy was angry. Both men were now to die. It was a sad truth. All of these men with there pride, they could not stay out of it. Itazuki would die, and now Tatsuya and Alex were to die. Fluffy began to spit, a ball of fire launching forward to Tatsuya, the ball of fire was the size of the man's entire body, at least six feet tall and six feet long. It spun with intense flames, sending off a large light. The ball flew slowly, and grew as it got closer, only to explode a few yards away from the two of them, sending large flames randomly around the men. The women behind Fluffy were safe from the flames, and for the most part, the heat. He then appeared to be dis-satisfied. They were no longer fun to play with, and as the crimson eyes of Fluffy began to light with courage and flames, he launched forward in an attempt to kill them both in one fell swoop. It slashed with its gargantuan claws, a single swipe big enough to kill the two of them. Although his strength was massive, the flames he possessed were stronger. if they could stay away from the flames, they could probably get away from his claws.

Fluffy growled again, Flames shooting through his nose. The ground was starting to melt. The rock underneath them was no longer layered with snow, but a dense flame. the flames covered only the base of the ground, and did not reach deeper into the cave,to the location of where Byakuren's belongings were. Fluffy was careful, for once again he was a ladies man. Fluffy then spat more fire on the ground, lava beginning to seep out of the ground, they would have trouble stopping the burns now.

Alex was about to stuggle out of the grip of Tatsuya when he noticed something strange. The women, whom he had already given up as lost to the billowing flames, were safely behind fluffy. This confused Alex, as he thought that the dragon had gone insane. "Maybe you're right Tatsuya, we should probably leave the dragon alone." However, he noticed a giant claw approaching them. He once again enlarged his hammer, this time to about the size of a manison door. and braced himself for the impact. When the blow hit, he was wrenched from Tatsuya's grip and slammed against the opposing wall. He fell onto a suprisingly cool section of the floor. Looking around, he noticed that there were flames everywhere else. He then turned around and noticed a small tunnel which ended in a room with a bed. He turned around, thinking so, he doesnt want to destroy his master's stuff. If I have to continue fighting, then maybe I can use this to my advantage. Sitting down, he awaited the dragon's next move.

Tatsuya just stared at the dragon as it blew fire at him and Alex. He saw it hit the ceiling and flames surrounded him in some spots. It wasn't until The dragon came at them with his claw did he show any change in emotion.
"s**t!" He was about to jump to a new location when Alex used his hammer as a shield to soften the blow. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and Alex was knocked loose from Tatsuya's grip. "Um...I don't know your name!!!" He shouted towards the falling Alex with his hand outstretched.
s**t, what do I do? Think, think Tatsuya!! His brain began to work overtime. He didn't want to hurt the dragon but wanted everyone to survive. Except dumb a** that is. He quickly pulled himself up so his feet were on the ceiling, and pushed with all his might towards the ground. He pulled out his spear and held it in front of him, as he was above one of the hot areas on the ground. The spear stuck into the stone and he held himself up. All that working out seemed to pay off, but I can't keep this up forever... He quickly turned so he was standing on the top of his spear, precariously balanced, he glared at the dragon.
"What now? You're gonna kill me for saving someone who was defending himself from your unjustified attacks against the rest of us? Attack the a*****e that started this s**t." Tatsuya was pissed now, not one to normally experience any emotion besides his normal emotion he showed.

Fluffy glared at both Alex and Tatsuya, while it seemed that for now Alex was safe, the man had hid with Byakuren's stuff. Thankfully, she was smart. Her belonging were heat proof, for he had gone insane before. Fluffy shot a blast of hot air into the room, increasing the room to beyond far normal temperatures. It was cooking in there, Alex would leave eventually. Now turning back to Tatsuya, Fluffy noticed what he was doing. But if he didn't kill something, then it would upset him, so he charged forward, ready to strike a killing blow. Fluffy had prepared something for him. It growled lightly, yet inside it felt some sort of content with him, so it slowed down its hit, enough to be blocked, or dodged.

"Crap" whined Alex as a roaring jet of flame shot past through the door. Using his wind power again, he bearily managed to block the resulting explosion. He then ducked out of the door, and noticed fluffy attacking Tatsuya. He saved my life a minute ago, so now I return the favor thought Alex as he shot his hammer at full force, sending it crashing into the side of the hand headed for Tatsuya.

I have no intention of hurting him, why dose he persist in needless bloodshed? He watched as the dragon blew hot air into the room Alex had ran into, and crouched, knowing Fluffy would be coming after him next. He was prepared for the worst when Fluffy charged towards him, and saw a faint glimmer in his eyes. He quickly jumped towards the closest wall that didn't have any fire near the ground. When he got to it, he placed his gauntlet hand on the wall and began to slide down slowly. When his feet touched, he left his hand on the wall as he began to rest. He panted heavily as he stood there, tired from all the jumping and hanging.
"So...what? Have a...change of heart?" He was gasping for air and the heat in the place wasn't helping any. If he didn't stop soon he might pass out from exhaustion, which would most likely spell the end for him.
Gotta stay focused. Concentrate on standing, that's all I have to do.
"Stop attacking him. You're just gonna piss him off more..."

The flames on the ground were instantly gone, and Fluffy was standing over the two of them, both Tatsuya and Alex, his tail was wagging, and he was happy. Blowing flames over them, it was warm and soothing, Fluffy's rage was gone. Instead he stared down upon them with eyes tearing up, fluffy made a whimpering sound, as though extremely sad, and bent down to be pet on the head by Tatsuya, and quickly grabbed the gigantic hammer, bringing it to Alex. It smiled, and moved away from the women, Fluffy was fine again. It had a change of heart, but if Itazuki got up, he would die...

A smile crept upon Tatsuya's lips, as Fluffy started acting like his normal self once more. Whew, crisis averted. Tatsuya lifted up his free hand and pet him on the head then continued to scratch underneath his chin. "Good...boy...I think I'm gonna go sit down now and rest for a bit." He walked back over to where his spear was sticking out of the ground and placed it back on the fastenings on the back of his breastplate. He then walked over to a chair and sat in it, leaning far back to the point where he was nearly falling out of the chair. His body was exhausted now that the adrenaline was no longer flowing through his body.

After being forcibly moved back with a hasty tail swish, Byakuren sat calmly with her chair pushed all the way to the back wall and the mahogany table pressing into her middle. Intuitively she knew what was happening knew the outcome and remained quiet through the entire display, unmoved by the soaring temperatures. Halfway through Fluffy’s rage, she propped her elbow against the table and rested her cheek in her slender hand. Her magenta eyes closed as if to sleep but her ears were still tuned to each shift of the rock and every roar of flame all the way down to the sound of Fluffy’s scales scraping against the ground. As the commotion died down a knowing smile crossed her lips and she haphazardly shoved the table away, making sure the women who’d been corralled with her were alright. After she was sure they were of an acceptable condition, she ventured from her sitting area while brushing stone dust from her pristinely white hair.

Coming to Fluffy’s massive head, she placed her hand against his nose. “Rage equals going outside and not making it a desert here,” Almost scolding, she patted him softly before walking round his huge bulk and the lip of the cave entrance. There, her gaze slid along the now twilight setting, focusing on a patch of shadows nearby. “You may come out,” she called, “the pulsations, they’re a blight to you.”

"Nah, they don't look alike." The platinum haired man replied to the man that made the oedipus complex. Only the platinum haired man knew what he meant and could have cared less if the man got it or didn't. It wasn't that he was trying to be mean, but the platinum warrior got what he wanted; there was no need to be here anymore. At least he knew Byakuren's wherabouts so perhaps their date would be put on hold.

The platinum haired man walked by a few people, thinking of what Dimitri was up to. Usually he did not think about what happened at the academy much, but Byakuren brought it up and the man began to have questions?

Does Dimitri still have that desire to be the best?
Did he leave the style of xim and venture towards the dark arts?
Was he even alive?

The more that the man began to conjure up these questions, the faster he came back to reality to focus on the task at hand. Dead or Alive, The platinum haired warrior still strived to be the best warrior of his lifetime and Byakuren gave him a piece on his journey.

The platinum haired warrior was now outside where he abandoned his belongings. Not his armor and weapon of course, but the stuff needed to climb the mountain. There was no use for it now; it would seem like it would however once he was at the oasis, but the warrior had faith in himself. The warrior rotated his neck rotated 3 times as a sign of being ready before walking towards the direction of the desert.
