While it is the most important thing that the game works period, I suppose there is a certain feeling about it in terms of the box...
Like... the particular feel of getting a fresh new copy of a game in comparison to a used one. It just feels different.
But again, as long as the game works it's not that big a problem; just a slight... itch.

He just got the box. No game.

I am SO with you on the gift cards. I always get Chapters ones. stressed
Last year I got this ugly lime green turtleneck sweater. I usually don't mind getting clothes, but I don't like getting Oprah's clothes.

I think the worst gift (not trying to be funny or cute with this, I REALLY have received these before) is 100 dollar jumper cables. They are not fun, I don't want/need them, and they REALLY don't need to be that expensive. Either that, or a ******** map. I don't know WHERE my relatives got the idea that I give a crap about geography, but they gave me one, and my brother would always get a moving T-Rex thing or some other awesome gift. That's like buying someone a textbook and giving their brother a magic boomerang. Usually people give gift cards because they think money isn't thoughtful enough. I think it's dumb too, but that's why people do it.

I got $5 once. I know it's not the world's worst, but I thought it was funny.

I was once gifted an ipod touch box, inside the box was not an ipod but a cheap imitation of one, it was so bad I actually felt sorry for the people who bought it since they probably paid more than $20 for it. Best part is, the ipod touch box looked like it was recycled from an already opened touch xd
