Armored Core: The Final Push (Paused)

[Zahzi]

Jarid was about to move after her, but the pain from the wound got the better of him, causing him to reel back/  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly seemed to pay no attention to Jarid not following her, and continued to charge out towards the enemy, firing the Hellspawn's weapons at the army.  

[Zahzi]

While some of the enemy craft were being hit, some going down, the others automatically opened fire on her, shooting to kill.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Gonna have to try harder, ********!" Kelly laughed as she took evasive maneuvers.

"I got trained by the best, but biggest, a*****e there is on this planet!"  

[Zahzi]

"....Aspina trainers..?" Cube mused, listening to Kelly.

"...Is now really the time..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Luckily for those two, Kelly didn't seem to hear..  

[Zahzi]

Over the horizon, even more of the army appeared. They were prepared for a long battle if necessary...

Kelly muttered something under her breath, yet, oddly continued to keep fighting on.  

[Zahzi]

The army seemed to be learning from how Kelly was fighting. They were getting more evasive and accurate...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Come on, ********!" Kelly laughed, seeming to take no notice to the damage being done upon her suit as she only continued to fight.

"You're making me look good!"  

[Zahzi]

In the distance, another NEXT could be seen...

"...This can't be good..."

"Well look at the bright side. It'll go after the idiot first...."

"Not HELPING...."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Oh look. Another playmate." Kelly chuckled, ignoring the others now as she charged straight towards the new NEXT.  

[Zahzi]

The NEXT began to charge as well, missiles firing from his back from one of the shoulder weapons.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

The Hellspawn darted off to it's side to avoid the path of the missiles, the rifles firing at the NEXT as Kelly continued to move forward, trying to get within range to use the cannons.  

[Zahzi]

The shots made contact with the NEXT, stopping at the Primal Armor. It continued to charge, gaining speed.

The odd weapons on its hands began to activate...
