The problem with charging real money on gaia, especially something like $25 is that a lot of users are teens that need to convince their parents for credit card access. It's probably why gaia put point cards in stores.
Personally if I had a credit card I would gladly pay that much for your art.

Yeah, it seemed like a good idea at first, but as you say; most of the Gaia users don't really have access to cash etc. Plus, I can't really advertise on Gaia either, I got a thread deleted yesterday for mentioning money.

I've lowered the price a little though, for the art. It's £10 now, not sure what that is in dollars, but it's certainly less. I don't think I can go any lower than that though, I've been thinking about how long art takes to make etc and if I went any lower I'd be the one working at a loss.

Google actually has a conversion tool.
If you google "10 GBP in USD" it will tell you "10 British pounds = 16.25900 U.S. dollars" at the top of the search results.
I found that out when trying to figure out how much you were charging before.

Ah yeah, I just didn't know the amount off the top of my head.

Well, in America, if you did 2 hours work, the least you could be payed is $15... and that is for unskilled labor.

Think about it.
