I hate to say it, but I actually laughed when the busjacker died... I mean, they thought he was HIGH!!!! *&& I actually cried when Eru AND Raito died...* I also laughed when Misa died... I mean, even though you DON'T see, you know it happens. They list her deathday in Vol. 13

btw, Remu was a FEMALE shinigami... I think they actually tell you in both the manga & the anime. Plus, if you didn't get to read before vol. 7, I think they still have scanlations on onemanga.com ! Shadow Troubles It was pretty ironic when Rem died... I can't say I laughed though, I was in shock over L's death. The first book I read was the 7th (blame my library) and I really liked him... so I was like 'WTF?' when he died.
Still... even though this answer has been cropping up a lot, I laughed when Light died. It was just so pitiful.
By the way, WolfsRainMoon, the Kira Song picture in your signature is epic win.

I really liked Rem ... actually I was quite sad when she died! She wasn't that evil .. actually she was nice ... I wanted to murder Light at that moment!!! crying

Plus, didn't have time to laugh of cry for her cause i was already crying cause L and Watari died. o.o rem was a guy........ O_o Who told you that? Rem's female. And I kind of liked her I half laughed, half cried when she died though.  Misa Amane: I could never live in a world without light!

She may have thought that due to the voice actor in the Death Note movies.
D: yes thats why i thought that in the live action movies the voice actor for rem had a very manly voice .__. so yeah

Anywho, I laughed at Light's death the second time around, it really was pitiful. =.=;; I was neutral when Rem died, though I was very displeased she had to kill L and Watari just to protect Misa.
Roxy: greatest joke in Death Note evurr. :3 Pretty much greatest joke, period. The series hardly had anything to poke fun at other than Misa's dim-headedness, so I was like "yes! a great joke, finally!" =w=;;

when Raito died, i had this sort of smug laugh. (always was partial to Near, yus) when Rem died i felt the slightest bit of remorse, i laughed out loud when Misa died, and i got so furious with Death Note when L died that i didn't get volume 8 until a few months later. -.-
when Matt died i was sad. you have to hand it to him though. for the fleeting moments he had in the series he's accumulated a wide fan base. i was also sad when Mello died...but not as much. :'D

I dont cry, but i watched the episode where they die and im like OMFG. then i had to go pick up my dad from the airport like 4 hours away and i went into deep depression. I wasnt even talking or anyting. : (

i almost cried wen L died... but i laughed at how dramatic it was... IM SUCH A BAD PERSON!!!!!!!!!! crying
I did laugh when Misa died though! XDDDD I never liked her...

Naww, I didn't laugh... I like Rem, she only did it to protect Misa. I was crying for all three of them, L, Rem, and Watari, who's pretty darn awesome. And Light. D: His death was so pathetic I just had to feel sorry for him. I cried. I cried when Mello and Matt died, too, because they were my favorites.

I laughed... when L pulled a chuck Norris round house kick on Light. ******** epic. i cried when rem died. but mainly because L died RIGHT before her crying
i laughed at the end when light had a case of the crazies... i actually kinda felt embarrassed for him too sweatdrop then he died.
heres how it went. *L dies* me: DAMN YOU, LIGHT!! *rem dies after* DAMN YOU, LIGHT!! *Light dies* me:.....DAMN YOU MATSUDA!! C:

I laughed when Light died. It was sad when L, Rem and Watari died though. Now that I think about it the only deathi laughed at we're the bus jacker (Because it was a brillant plan) And light's death because it was... lol. All the others (Except the criminals) I felt bad for sad

When Rem died it was because light pointed out misa would be executed.She killed L due to a bond she had with misa (Or is it a he I cannot tell).She kinda deserved it but I thought it was kinda sad.When Light Died I Laughed my a** off and started saying stuff like "Finally They Killed that a*****e"And *That is what you get b***h!!!" And also."L's Revenge b***h"It was the happiest moment of my anime watching life.

Hell i liked light at first. doing a community service. But then he started killing innocent and the L. I hated him there good thing he's dead. And Misa. OMG I would have killed her myself xd

i was sad when L died and in my room screaming nooooooooooooooo. i was pissed at light for a while. i for some reason was sad when he died.
