Momiji reminded me of a good point, most animes have like 26 episodes.
They could show xxxHolic, but its only 20 something eps, the only reason they showed tenchi was they have 3 different series all composed of 20 something episodes. (post#133)

Ayanami Rei First Child Hey! I remember that show! That was a really good one! I rather liked the movie where they were trapped on that turtle's back while it was going through outer space! That was really nifty! OMG I love that one! I remember first seeing it during a nightly anime thing that scifi did during the summer. That show had a ton of episodes, like most Rumiko Takahashi anime. smile Maybe CN could show various anime of short length and change it up like scifi's aniMonday programming block? #148

I wonder if that will be turned into an anime as well... Well, perhaps they could show those on the weekend and run the longer series during the weekday afternoons and older classic anime in a less edited form on weeknights.

Oh, good idea, like the Saturday Anime on Scifi back in the day. That would allow for the mini series and 2 season stuff to get a good time slot and a receptive audience. #160

Yea. If only CN would take that advise... crying Then we could have a free place to regularly watch anime without having to pay for a channel or package.

Yea it totally sucks that the Anime Network never quite became a mainstream channel. Bresnan offered it for a month but once it became a PPV channel they dropped it. They totally mismanaged that idea into the ground. #164

Cartoon network could at least give us a Midweek night of anime, like Wednesday. I mean continue showing Bleach only on Saturday, but bring in some new stuff for a whole new day or the week. I wouldn't mind seeing the show The Gokusen on CN, its dirty mouthed, funny and the crap fact they hav DBZ and yugioh voices doing it all make it even funnier.
You know its only a matter of time before CN syndicates Southpark. They have southpark on almost every local channel. yet another needless non-anime show (post#192: Sunflora)

Ayanami Rei First Child They only have it on a few stations that I know of. Although at least it's better then a lot of the crap like "Adventures of Flapjack" or "Metalocolypse" and s**t. The horrible thing is I like spongebob's antics and laughter a lot more then flapjacks. I also hate how they got the guy who did the goldfish teach from gympartnet is a monkey to play cap k'nuckles >n<# (post#201: Unown)

My problem with Spongebob or Flapjack...what episode did you like? They are all the same, they don't even need to name the episodes! The events are almost always the same, just out of sequence. I can write the script for a Spongebob episode right now.
Spongebob wakes up, talks to snail. Goes to crabby patty and gets yelled at. Annoys Squidward and makes Crabby-patties. Meets Patrick or Squirrel and frolics. Goes Jelly fishing. Add peripheral characters for seasoning and serve lukewarm to mindless audience. #192

Just leave out the subtitle of "time traveling playboy" and you can get away with showing it lol. Hey i'm finanly through the Jhoto Pokémon, since i didn't bother using the Pokémon thing with my first 151 posts i think i made pretty good headway. two more generations left to go whoo!
