Keelhaul that filthy landlubber, send him down to the depths below

The laugh is haunting, deep and utterly chilling as it echoes through the long wide halls and into the main entrance
A shiver runs momentarily down your spine and you feel a sudden urge to run
But you don't
And he knows this
Padded footsteps this way cometh

Make that b*****d walk the plank with a bottle of rum and a Yo Ho Ho

"Oh ........ ! Would you mind waiting here while i go get my friend Ewan, he know .... oh, where are my manners .... my name is Tiina, sorry about your horse.
... Now, i'll go get Ewan, he knows this place better than me."
She made a bow, like from a medevial court, and went down a great stairwell a bit away.

"Of course I don't mind," Hawk told herself firmly. She stood near the door, waiting for Tiina and her friend Ewan. Evil laughter is never a good sign... oh, dear...

There was steps coming up from the stairs.
It proved to be Tiina, and a fairly handsome man.
They walked to Hawk, the man bowed deeply, saying:
Hello, miss, I'm Ewan Radd, at your service!

"Hello, sir. Might you have a spare room where I could stay the night?"  

[Tiina Brown]

"I do think there is, there should be a few rooms in the west wing that isn't used, just follow me, if you'd like?"
"I'll follow too."

Hawk followed the couple, thinking that a good night's rest would calm her nerves and let her overactive imagination relax. It was a bit drafty in the mansion, and Hawk shivered.

Suddenly, there was a shriek-ish sound, like from some animal, up in the ceiling.
Tiina recogniced the sound, and sighed.
She said:
"Don't worry, it's just Liza ...... she likes to freak people out."

Hawk had jumped at the sudden noise "Yes... of course..." As she continued on all her senses were on high alert. The chill wasn't helping.

Above them, creeping along roof supports, Liza saw the two invited, and the Uninvited ...... getting closer to her own ..... crypt ..... so she hurried forward, to get there first.

She again became amazed by how well her wierd, leathery suit, given by her Master, followed her every move, without hindering her.

Hawk shivered and moved forward again. This place gave her the creeps. Briefly she saw a shadow move, but then it scurried off and was gone. Hawk might have imagined it; the hallway was lit mostly by torches. This was an ancient mansion, clearly very old, because even the stones seemed to creak.

As Tiina and Ewan proceeded with hawk following, Liza suddenly dropped to, and landed on, the floor right in front of them.
"I demand .... a Toll ..... for you to passs heeere ....." She said.
Tiina turned towards Ewan, and said:
"Why didn't you tell me Liza was quarterd in this area?"
Ewan answered:"Uhmm, i forgot?"
He really seemed sincere.
Tiina Turned towards Liza:
"What kind of Toll did you have in mind?"

Hawk jumped and nearly fell over backwards when the creature Liza dropped from the ceiling. Panting, she regained her balance before asking, "Um, excuse me, Liza-- what are you wearing?"

Liza seemed slightly taken aback by the question from Hawk, but then answered:
"Are you interested?"
Then she turned back to Tiina, and said:
"Herrr, in my crypt, forrrr ..... thirty minutessss ......"
and pointed with a clawed finger towards Hawk.

Crypt? thought Hawk. That Liza lived in a crypt was probably not a good sign. Why, Cricket? Why here? She looked at Liza as steadily as she could and said, "To do what?" She prayed that the answer wasn't too creepy.
